i was gutted when asuma died as well!!

So I was heartbroken when he died!

But yeah. My favourite characters ALWAYS die, or at least have a VERY near-death experience, so I'm always screwed.

Or better yet, watch the anime first, and THEN read the manga, because the both are distinctly different.

The anime cuts off, forgets major characters, and changes around personalities. But you'll definitely love it if you don't read the manga first. I did, at least. :]
