Those little bellies grumbled.

"You want food, ey?" Crater enquired.

"Sort of..."

The latter dropped a dead rabbit at their feets.

"All I could find."

"How did you know rabbit was our fave?!?!" Lerika hugged the hybrid's leg.

"I uh... guessed.. it." She mumbled.

"Thank you, Aunty!" The twins were overjoyed.

"Aunty?" Crater mused to herself, shifting her position.

The pair looked in total fluffiness. At least that was their brains.

Richy cleared her throat, gaining Craters attention.

"Muuum... I think we need to.. 'camp' here tonight, yeah?"

"... Why are you asking me?" Crater asked, scratching her shoulder.

"Why don't you decide?" Axiom barked.

"Oh, so you're back now?" Crater blankly retorted at the K-series.

"I never left..." she replied. Meek stabbed a digit at her face.

"Yes you did, you butt!"

Crater just shook her head, whilst Falirh tilted her head at the K-series.

The pair continued screaming insults at one another. Merc lifted the little Runner off her feet. She curled up and sobbed, whilst Axiom just sighed and wandered over to a shady spot and slept.

Richy stood by her mother and shook her head, whilst Crater stared off into the distance.

"Shh...Meek..." Merc had trouble quietening the little Xeno down.

Falirh joined in with Merc with helping to calm the runner down.

All the Runner could do was cry like a youngling.

Richy prodded her mothers side, wich Crater only hissed on.

Merc was struggling to keep the little one calm.

"We got company." Crater muttered, with Richy at her side, gazing at the aproaching .. thing.

Meek screeched at the shadowy figure.

The figure disappeared at it's spot.

"Ghost?" Richy asked.

"... No..." Crater muttered.

"No such things as ghosts..." Hazel muttered.

"No, 'cause Ghostbusters take them down, yeah?" Richy retorted.

".... Where do you get theese things from anyway?" Crater asked, frowning.

"I'm in tremendous pain..." Ares sniffed. His brother patted his head.

"You're going to be alright," Mercury whispered to him.

"But-"

"I have every trust and hope in Meek."

The little Runner turned to him with a warm and embarrassed smile. "You can call me Llina."

"Why are you in pain? We haven't fought anything for ... days?" Crater retorted. Richy huffed at her mother.

"Being GMed like I have does things to you."

"Obviously." Falirh frowned at Crater, who was looking thoughtfull.

"Yeah, it's fun. You should try it sometime," Ares said sardonically as he sat on his behind.

"Already have." Falirh muttered.

"What's been done to you?"

"Oh? I don't wanna remind myself." She muttered, looking at the ground.

"Fine. Fine." Ares sloped off.

"Did he get angry now?" She asked Richy, who looked after the white hybrid.

"I don't know.." She muttered back.

"Why don't you ask him?"

"... Why do I need to ask him?" Both Falirh and Richy said in union.

"You asked the question," Meek sighed.

The two girls (in almost the same size) shrugged and both leapt after the white hybrid. Crater frowned at them, and shook her head, making her dreadlocks fall over her shoulder.

Meek just left them to it.

Crater tilted her head at the runner, looking at her with interest.

The little Xeno tried to ignore what had just happened.

Crater flexed her claws and lowered herself down, so she now laid on her side with her head raised, giving her a look out if there was anyone trying to sneak up on them. She curled her tail around herself and sighed.

Gold glinted in the harsh sunlight. Meek rose straight up like a cat, arching her back and hissing wildly at the figure atop the hill.

Crater peered at the same object as Meek was, and tilted her head, jaws open and a low growl emitting from within the hybrid. She didn't rose from her lying position thought.

The golden ring jingled against hard carapace on the end of a long and dexterous tail. Lean legs moved about regularly to avoid the small feet sinking into the smooth, silky sand.

"Runner..." Meek identified with intrigue. She called out to it. But the stranger did not reply. It just listened in and analysed the situation, before moving onwards, far away from Crater and Meek.

But Meek refused to let this stranger run away...she launched herself upon it. In a tangle of slender legs and scraped of tails, the strange and enigmatic Runner grasped Meek in a gentle headlock. The latter squealed in fright all the same.

"Why did you attack?" its voice finally came into the open.

((He sounds like a softly spoken Bruce Willis. XD I drew him too.))

Crater raised her head and sniffed the air. Huffing, she stood up and made her way towards the two runners, she didn't seemed to act aggressive, 'cause she held a lazy pose. The hybrid stood with all her glory and tilted her lowered head at the two.

"What are you doing, and who are you?" She murmured, a simple question.

Meek screamed louder. He held her tightly.

"She attacked me..." he watched the hybrid without fear. "Can I look without being thrown into chaos?"

"Well, you can release her now, I don't think she'll attack again." Crater stated without emotion. The hybrid stood up to her full height, and huffed.
