According to ropeofsilicon.com (a very awesome movie site), the Chicken Little DVD will be released on March 14th!! WHOO!!! Shoot, I thought it would be sometime in April. I'm so HAPPY TO BE WRONG!!! Plus, that's only 4 days after my birthday, so I know what I'm asking for. ~_^Anyhoo, as far as bonus features, there are going to be deleted scenes with (count 'em) THREE alternate openings, a 'making-of' featurette, the music videos for 'One Little Slip' and 'Shake A Tail Feather', the 'Where's Fish?'game, and a karaoke sing-along! Plus, my favorite part - language tracks in French and Spanish! (I'm such a nerd.) BTW, I never would have found this stuff out without ropeofsilicon.com. Their page for Chicken Little had a bunch of stuff on it, including loads of videos, so go check it out! I'll say right now, the Japanese trailer is well put together and really fun! I'm now off to see the Italian trailer... Ciao!! |

The Geeky BrunetteHeehee, I downloaded that interview on my computer and used it to make a Chicken Little music video to Will Smith's "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It". Yeah, I visit rottentomatoes.com pretty often, but I barely agree with the reviews. I hear in a couple of places that the DVD might be out on March 21st, but I'm hoping it will stay at the 14th... BTW, (and I'm not going off-topic of CL, trust me) anybody seen the movie Hook with Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman? |

samuraistarI only went on rottentomatoes because they had that hilarious interview. As far as Hook, dude, that movie's been around since maybe I was a toddler (and I'm 18)...Why do you ask? And no, no, don't worry, Hook is remaining untouched. I was wondering because I have a weird habit of watching or writing scenes from movies and replacing the characters with characters from other movies. As you can guess, I imagined some of the scenes in Hook with Buck as Peter and CL as Jack. What's especially funny is the Lost Boys' Workout Song while they are training Peter. It's funny to imagine Buck in that scene. Or, the baseball game on the pirate ship can easily be Chicken Little-ifed with Buck and CL, yeah? |

Spooky-CiderHere are some other weird facts I dug up: Many people think that Chicken Little is a baby O-O;;; Fish and Runt's names were at first going to be Bull in China Shop and Fly in the Ointment. Adults are incredibly confused of why Foxy Loxy became so sweet and valley girlish. Goof: The cheetah in the movie is seen running from the watertower and ends up in the movie theaters, but in the next scene, he is seen clapping at the Mayor's statue. The Geeky BrunetteI saw today that the Disney store has it on preorder and if you order it from there, you get a nifty lithograph of CL running beside his friends on Runt's bike. BTW, I saw the Dvd cover and I'm slightly vexed. It's got CL sitting in the Men In Black chair and it shows Morkubine Porcupine, Runt, and Fish all poking up from behind in and there's just this empty SPACE where you think Abby would be, but she's NOWHERE!!
