Ok, long story short, Little Naruto/Naruko is scared out of their freaking mind as a child while running for his/her life. Something goes horribly wrong and the seal is compromised but before Kyuubi leaves the mindscape Naru(to) twists Kyuubi into something different.

Now the question is, what shall we twist Kyuubi into?

I was thinking more along the lines of something big and incredibly terrifying, something that a kid would think would scare off the people that are chasing them (My first thought was a tyranid hive lord http://eyeforterror.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Tyranid_hive_brood_by_LordHannu.jpg or a full on pack of them) or something that they would think would comfort/protect them... actually, with this idea Naru could conceivably resurrect the 4th

well, if they're chakra based, so long as they can gather the chakra needed to create the being in question, there's no reason they couldn't. It's just a matter of where they get the chakra.
