What happened to Silver Thorns, Silver Dragon, DarkShadow, Runi, and lots-lots more...?

I heard the theme song of drakengard the other day and I suddenly wanted to play through it again. The thing is, I haven't touched any of them in a while, so I know it's going to be hard work---especially because I prefer to play my game on the harder modes. ...I still haven't collected all of the weapons on Drakengard 2...I think I'm about 5 away from completion. Somewhere down the line, I just got lazy, and I didn't finish collecting them. Someone here collected them all, but he never said what it was like to have the battle selector--DARK SHADOW!!! I still wanted to know! lol! ^_^

Oh my God. I'm back home! How I have missed you, Drakengard forum...

Sorry about the absence... I just fell out of Drakengard fiction (I could never get out of Drakengard forever) and I... yeah. I just haven't written anything, even my other stories, for like... a year. I really need to change that...

But I don't want it to die... I was here when there were only 14 little stories, and I still want to see my dream of it reaching 100! >D

...I really should go write...

Ah! it feels brilliant to be back in the drakengard section... How could I have abandoned it so? We WILL rebuild it to its former glory. I have great plans for my Drakengard fic. but I need to set them in motion.. anyone here who would like to help me, please PM me, so we can discuss it further. Once it is finished, I will start a new one, but what about? maybe a Q&A, for humour is known to draw people's attention. Maybe that is what we need to revive it? or just a flood of stories all put up in the one week... When i first posted my Drakengard fic, there was only about 64 stories ( possibly less) then maybe a few months later, it had somehow grown to 120-150 odd. But it would seem it has been deserted... Let's fix that!

Yeah, I was always the bigger fan... he is more obsessed with DBZ, lol. Oh, person who isn't Talos/Death, have you read my Drakengard fic? I am hoping fo r a review from you :P So, what happened to the Drakengard section? How did it die? Or was it the work of Duo Maxwell? The !thing! I and so many others tried to stop..

Is it alright if I start up something random? Don't worry, it's Drakengard related. I'm just gonna go ahead anyway. I want to get a sledgehammer and break all of Inuart's limbs! Hey, can you blame me for bashing him? He tried to destroy the world, for pete's sake! What makes it worse is that he destroyed the world just for Furiae. The stupid Empire not only broke him by torture, but they also brainwashed him through torture. A noble man became a dumb@$$, and the Empire sullied a noble man's mind with false information. THAT MAKES ME FRICKING ANGRY!!!!!

Hi, new people!! :waves happily: It's always nice to see new people! For quite a long time, it was just me, silver thorns, Stardust, and Dark Shadow. We ran the entire thing! >D

But it's good for new people to be here... I feel I'm not abandoning the site so much when there's other guys. :P

But as for Inuart, I can't really stand him that much... but I do understand what he's going through. He was never that strong in the first place, whether it was physical or mental strength. He was GOING to have a wonderful life-- marry Furaie, maybe get a couple of kids... but no, she was turned into the Goddess and his entire furture was shattered. So, he's kind of got the "what am I doing now?" attitude. He... really has nothing more to live for, other than protect Furiae.

Of course, when the Nameless get him, they rip into his weak little mind, exploiting his rather deep-seated jealousy of Caim and his obsession for Furiae. Poor guy didn't stand a chance... So you should really be angry with the Empire for screwing him over. :P And when you're really in love... you kind of damn everyone else that isn't your lover. :/

Oh, but I am angry with the Empire. Ditto on that. I'm also ** at the hypocritical Manah, whom was the leader of the damned Empire. As you know, she wanted the world to die just because she was abused by her mother. When she turned 24, she wanted to save it. What a hypocritical nerve! If anyone should've suffered Manah's wrath, it should've been her mother and her mother only.

As for the 'villagers' in Drakengard 2, I don't feel sorry for them because they were remnants of the Empire. I also hated the Knights of the Seal for creating the false peace that protects the world and to strengthen their pompous rule. As for General Gismor... He was one of the worst villains ever created. He knew of the villagers' suffering but did nothing but care for himself. People like him are deplorable @$$holes. (When it comes to Drakengard, a lot of anger rises out of me. Please forgive me. I rarely go on a rant unless if I feel so.)

What the heck?! Where did you guys come from? O.O ...Eh, who cares? Welcome!! ^_^

Let's see...well, when I learned that the villagers were actually remnants of the empire, I was a little upset too, but then I realized that they were all under the spell of "the Watchers" and had been broken, hence their red eyes at the time of Manah's reign over them. That little imp bewitched everyone there!! The empire was a pawn from the beginning...but that doesn't stop Caim hehehe.

I only hate just one, aside from Gismor, yeah, he sucked from the get go, but he has a cool sword! XD But I can't stand Verdelet, because he was responsible for tricking Angelus and Caim and shifting the weight of the seal so that she could take on more of the burden Because she was a dragon! He would've been the main villian had it not been for Caim, who took away all the fun of getting rid of him even before the second game started! And I'm mad at Caim for not being playable in the second one; although Nowe isn't that bad at combat, he's a lot faster (with the backflip move, lol)...But yes, Drakengard is driven on the color red, anything you can think of that red represents is part of Drakengard, which Anger seems to go hand in hand with, as well as love and hate. By all means, you're on the right page. ;) lol

Yeah, I am a pretty avid Drakengard fan, but through the course of time, I kinda abandoned it, til Talos linked me to this forum. I'm glad he did, as it has made me consider finishing my Drakengard fic finally. Maybe all of us here could do a story together? We could make an RPing topic, and use that as the base of our story?

aah, i'm still here! sort of...real life did pounce upon me when i wasn't looking....i might start writing again though. my creative writing's gone down since i stopped fanfic-ing... but whilst i've been gone, i've been listening to growing wings at least once a day ^^ love love LOVE that song...

Yo... I'm still alive, mostly. I've been a bit busy with night classes(STILL...) and life in general. Plus, I had a few new pieces of various fanfiction nearly done, then my computer died for a few days, and I lost them. And I didn't have the drive to re-write them.

However, as I write this, I have a veeeery strong urge to start writing NowexEris fiction, so I'll probably end up sitting down today at some point, turning up the tunes, and writing some new stuff. =D I've got an idea for a series of connected oneshots centered around NowexEris, but I dunno if I have the dedication to do them all. If I do write them, they'll probably be around 4-5.

Any ideas for the topics of the oneshots or general opinions would be good, I suppose.(hinthint). Anywho, I am back. I'll try to post a bit more often from now on.

Hiya DarkShadow, good to hear from you. It seems like Silver is involved with the Rping that sent this forum all the way to the 700s in replies, O.O.

It's been a while everyone, how's it going? Me? Still working on that last fanfic for FF8....I don't know, been thinking about writing for Drakengard, but not too sure what to write anymore. I love multichaptered stories...but I also love writing AUs.... The thing about Drakengard is that there are so many possible angles to write for this game, be it D or D2, and the characters, times, events, etc.....Just the whole working up a good plot to write about is the tough part... Wonder if I have it in me to revive a dead fanbase? Not alone, I certainly can't, but I'll try. Look at that, talking to myself, how delightful.

Anyhoo, I wanna apologize for souding like a snoot in the past. I recently looked over my old post and wow...airhead. So anyway, if you're alive out there, drop a line here, With Style. ;)
