I liked Bill for the first book, by the second I couldn't stand him

I thought that the character of Bill was a little shifty from the start, was further encouraged at the end of Book 2. What really annoys me is the way they have painted him in the TV show. They make him seem like some knight in shining armour, when he is just a manipulative (Something I can't say here).
