Topic: SVM Teaser Mondays

Introducing Teaser Mondays! You are going to want to subscribe to this thread for all the latest teasers on your favorite SVM fics!

Hello to all our favorite SVM fanfic writers! I am starting this thread to encourage you to post teasers to your upcoming new story or chapter, one in which you plan to publish sometime within the coming week.

For example, if you have your next chapter ready, but in the editing stages, and you want to give us a little teaser, then you would post the teaser here on Monday and then publish sometime between Tuesday thru Sunday. If you are anticipating that your chapter will take longer to be ready, then I ask that you wait until the following Monday to post your teaser.

Writers: This is a great way to feed your fans a little something to hold back the pitchforks, and it’s also a way to pimp your story, so please participate as often as possible! Share any part of your story that you’d like. The only stipulation is that you keep your teaser to 500 words or less.

Readers: Help me spread the word to your favorite SVM writers! Let them know about this thread so we can get as many teasers as possible!

PLEASE NOTE: This thread is exclusively for teasers to upcoming SVM stories. No discussion! All discussion will be deleted as only teasers are allowed! Remember: teasers may ONLY be posted on Mondays! Thank you!

Disclosure to all: Content on this thread may not be suitable for teens. Teasers from stories rated K thru M are allowed.

The More You Know announcement: Of course this genius idea is not mine. I totally bit it from The Fictionators blog post for Twilight Teaser Mondays. For Twilight teasers, please visit The Fictionators website at www.fictionators.com

This is an absolutely wonderful idea! A huge thanks to Meads for starting this thread xoxo

Here is a teaser for Tense & Release which will update tomorrow! Also as an additional "teaser" in honor of this kick@ss thread, I've updated the T&R playlist to include the songs from tomorrow's update (link in my profile). And now, for a little tease...

“Feel free to disrobe to whatever level of nudity you’re comfortable with. Of course, take off your tank and pants, but the rest is up to you. Then lie down on the table. You can use this towel to cover up your bum,” she said, handing me a white towel.

I nodded mutely, unsure what to say, as Sookie exited the room. I quickly stripped off my tank top and pants, and stood there in navy blue boxer briefs, trying to decide what to do next. If I kept them on, would she think I was uncomfortable with her? If I took them off, would she think I was being too forward? Clearly I was over thinking this, so I just ripped the damn things off and lay down on the table, covering my ass with the towel she had left for me.

I don't know if anyone is still following StH. I have felt like an utter fail when it comes to that fic, but I will have another chapter up this week.

So here is some Road Trip convo from Chapter 7, unbeta'd:

I smiled, took her hand, and squeezed. “You promise. You won’t be too busy to come fishing with an old man and his son.”

“Eric, of course not,” she said then squeezed my hand back. “God, I miss Papa. Remember when he used to take us trick-or-treating?”

“Yes,” I said with a grin.

“You dressed up as Count Dracula for like six years in a row! You were so cute. Remember your little cape, the one your mom sewed numbers onto,” Sookie said laughing.

“Of course,” I said then added defensively, “And I was Count Dracula only five years in a row then I moved on to my Mathemagician costume.” I waggled my eyebrows for good measure. “And luckily, I was still able to use the same cape.”

Sookie snorted. “Oh yes. How could I forget? What was that song you used to sing?”

“Which song?” I played coy.

From my story Safe Harbor Chapter 7:

Victor gave me a long, searching look. I thought I could hear the gears turning in his head. “Yes, I know Quinn. He took my job as Felipe’s second once I came here to Louisiana. You were quite close I’ve been told.”

I let out a mental sigh of relief. “Oh Yes. How is he.” I was desperate not to say too much. Any wrong word and it would be quite clear to this vampire I had no idea what or who he was talking about.

“Quinn, is just fine.” He smiled, showing even rows of beautiful teeth. I wondered how many people had that view as their very last.

From the story that brings you the stripping arrogant ass, Eric Northman. Take it Off! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5368994/1/Take_it_Off

Preview for Chapter 7 - Should be up soon, just finalizing it!

I held my beath transfixed, waiting for whatever action he might give away. Everything happened in slow motion making the seconds that ticked by seem like hours. Hopelessness crushed me as I watched him place his bag down pivoting towards his locker. Feeling dejected at his utter lack of reaction to my explanation I turned to bolt from the room before the tears started falling.

I never expected him to grab me by the arms and crush his lips to mine. Threading my fingers in his hair I whimpered at his fierce urgent embrace.

Aw we can only tease on Mondays? But teasing is so much fun. Points to broken up sad puppy dog face, howabout Sinday too? :( hehe, jk.

This is a cool idea. It kind of reminds me of a show promo after a show airs, but we get to tease in the literary sense. You guys are definately wetting my apetite. Okay heres a little sliver of the next angst filled installment of "I Need Your Love Tonight."

“Sookie.” Eric tried to stop her but she stood up abruptly knocking over some orange juice on the table as the silverware clattered against the plate…

“No!” Her eyes were cold as she looked back at Eric and shook her head and she proclaimed visibly upset now…

“You can't smooth something like this over Eric, you can't fix this, my reputation as a reporter and my story, my entire livelihood has now been flushed down the toilet, can you understand that?”

She began to wipe some of the angry tears from her eyes and she went over to get her purse and shoes…

Great idea Meads!!! *huggles* Here is a clip from Chapter 2 of Grasping At Impossible, and it isn't beta'd:

I laughed out loud and her face contorted into anger. “I was admiring you, yes. But I heard you. You needed a new camera...”

“Yes, well, after that Eric. What did I say?” she asked and I was at a loss. Really, why did the girl need to speak? I wanted something from her and it wasn't a conversation.

“I am not sure, you want to tell me again? Perhaps in my office where we have more privacy?” I gestured towards the hallway that led to my office and I was silently chanting to her mind 'say yes, say yes, say yes' hoping somehow she would get the message and come with me.

This is a fantastic idea! Thanks for bringing it over Meads!

Now for a sneak peak of the unbeta'd Chapter 19 of Sorry Ladies, Northman's Off the Market

I watched as she closed her eyes and could almost see the wheels turning in her head. “It’s not a good idea Eric,” she said.

“You’re right. It’s not a good idea,” I replied. Her eyes snapped open and she looked at me skeptically. “It’s not a good idea because it’s an effing brilliant idea.” I smirked at her giggle and pulled her tightly against my bulge. “It’ll make it a lot easier if we release some of this pent up steam before the flight tomorrow.”

“Oh Jesus,” Sookie said and practically jumped off my lap in a hurry to stand up. “The flight tomorrow. You have to stop distracting me Northman. You came over here to help me finish packing and instead we got half a suitcase loaded and spent an hour making out on my couch. Ugh, I’m never going to get to sleep at this rate.”

Thanks Meads. I don't have a shiny excerpt to share so I'll just drop a few hints.

This week on "I Have Gone Out" we'll see the return of the absent Walker and get a glimpse of that BBC documentary we've been hearing about.

Chapter 18 of Sookie Sees a Swede:

She leaned in close as she brought her face to my neck and licked. I felt my resolve crumble.

“Sookie,” I tried again. She had moved on to my earlobe. Holy fuck! Her touching was driving me insane within a matter of seconds. “Sookie, believe me, I would love to be touching you, but I don’t think I’ll be able to stop once I start, love.” My hands had found their own way to her hips. I tried to make them stop pulling her towards me but they didn’t listen.

“Shh, Eric. I’ll take care of you baby. You do your paperwork…” She kissed me then. It was soft and sweet and her tongue just grazed my lips. When she pulled back she gave me a wink and sank to her knees. Dear god in heaven. She was the perfect woman.

Breaking the rules (already!) because I lacked a decent excerpt for yesterdays post, so from Ch. 26 of Out:

Victor waved a hand at the cell, summing up the chains and blow torches and cinderblock walls. “I had the power to hold him and lacked the desire to kill him. You should thank me Miss Stackhouse. Eric Northman was also a perfectly viable option.” Not quite, I thought ruefully. Adam probably thought twice about asking the Infernal Serpent to lock him in the basement. I scooted away from Victor who was just a little too close for my comfort. “But everything you just said....” “Tragic, yes but , what do you say? Ancient history.” Well, Eric had said his bosses were forward thinkers. Maybe I should just start operating on the idea that Eric was always right. And possibly Satan.

Am I breaking the rules, if I post a sneak peek at my new chapter?

Oh well, I'll take a whipping from Meads anytime.

Here is a teaser for the unbeta'd Chapter 15 of Dancing in the Dark

"When he smiled back and started to move towards me, saying hello, I was frozen on the spot. I had a dear in the headlights look, which I’m sure was not appealing. He put his right hand lightly on my left arm and leaned in. I stopped breathing. He kissed my right cheek, my eyes fluttering close at the contact. I felt a jolt of electricity run from my face down to my toes. I think I gasped. It was a very brief peck, but I got light headed. I couldn’t think, nor could I move. He asked me if I was ready. I could only nod. He moved away from me, but kept his hand on my arm, directing me towards the entrance. I followed him blindly. I would follow him anywhere at that moment."

OK. It's officially Monday on the East Coast. Here's a snippit from Chapter 9 of Dark Storm Rising:

Late spring rains bloated the wetlands around Shreveport until water lapped high against the levees. With its submerged logs and hungry gators, the remote part of the marshland was a dangerous place for a human in a boat. The unfortunate fisherman who somehow slipped through the wards and drifted into this distant, murky part of the swamp would hardly notice the ramshackle building hidden behind an unruly growth of swamp alders and willows. Notorious among the supernatural community, Sheriff’s Northman’s “holding pen” was well-concealed. Although he preferred open battle, when the situation demanded his enemies’ “interrogation,” and “sentencing,” Eric was ruthless.

SPOV:

“I want to learn a new language. A romantic language,” I said wistfully.

“Study math,” Eric said simply.

“Math. Eric, you have got to be joking! Math isn’t a language and it is definitely not romantic,” I challenged.

“Math is a universal language and it may not be romantic per say, but it does have some very sexy elements,” he defended.

“Get out!” I squeaked.

“I’m serious Sookie. Numbers…and math, well, they are all around us, ruling our lives. They completely consume us everyday, in every way,” he said, and his cool blue eyes darkened.

“Oh, really. How?” I questioned.

“Let’s see… let me count the ways,” he grinned.

Here's a teaser for the next chapter of What Dreams May Come. Eric's mother is finally telling them about their father...

***

..."Then I got pregnant again…”

“Wait,” I cut her off. “You said you only saw him when I was there right?” I asked. She nodded. “You conceived Pam in front of me?”

“Oh, hush. You were napping,” she said with a wave of her hand. My jaw dropped. Sookie stifled a giggle next to me, and then Mom continued again.

Teaser for my un-Beta'd chapter 8 of Take it Offwhere Eric is a stripper at Hooligans and Sookie is the newbie on the block. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5368994/1/Take_it_Off

"Look...I know things have been rough," she started, but I turned my head not wanting to see the sympathy played out in her eyes. Forcefully she took my face within her grasp turning my head back to level with hers. "You didn't let me finish. This has nothing to do with Sophie and I sure as hell wasn't gonna give you sympathy. I planned on making you an offer, something I think we both need. From the looks of things I think you need a good f*ck and frankly so do I; just call me and we can hook up. Maybe if you have a good lay than you wouldn't try and f*ck that newbie right on the stage in front of everyone."

Pam, pragmatic as ever was probably the only one who could surprise me and damn, I was caught off guard. Had the Abercrombie b*tch and I had a tender moment? My disbelief quickly masked into a smirk, had she just admitted to not getting any?

I apologize for any mistakes for some reason I can't cut and paste, but have to retype the enitre thing or the site shuts down! Should be up later today or tomorrow at the latest!

Chapter 9 of Safe Harbor:

“Get OUT!” I screamed raggedly throwing the first thing I could lay my hand on at him. That thing turned out to be glasses left out on the bar and this being the king’s personal area of the casino they seemed real expensive and heavy. Certainly when they smashed into a million pieces on the wall next to Quinn they made a very satisfying sound. “I don’t know who you are Quinn, I don’t know your full name, why everyone calls you tiger, or why I can’t read you like other people, but I do know I couldn’t ever love someone who takes such delight in seeing me in misery.” Honestly I would have thrown the other glass at him but he held up his hands in surrender.

Quinn swallowed and closed his eyes for a moment, forcing back his anger. I felt it recede and actually relaxed a little myself. “Sookie, I’m sorry. I’m sorry about all of it. I’m sorry Bill came into your life, I’m sorry you had to go through the explosion at Rhodes, I’m sorry about the fairies, all of it.” He was advancing on my slowly as if he could creep up on me if he made no sudden moves. If I was going to brain him with a lead crystal tumbler now was the time. He took the tumbler out of my hand and placed it back on the bar. He was towering over me and I refused to look up at him. “Most of all, I’m sorry you were wrong about Eric.”

I wasn’t sure if this was supposed to be a pep talk of some kind. If it was, he wasn’t doing a very good job. Crap, I was going to cry again. I willed my tears away and said in the coldest, calmest voice I could muster (at that moment), “Let’s get two things straight,” I said raising my chin and looking him square in the eye, “one: I am not a “babe,” I have a name, use it. Two: I have asked you to leave. You can do it now or the king’s guards can carry you out. I know which one I’d prefer.”

Here is a teaser for Grasping at Impossible Chapter 4. It will be up sometime later this week:

“Can you have sex on a lunch date?” I asked and I heard him snort through the phone.

You are asking me for sex advice? Hold on while I get a tape recorder. No one will believe that.”

“Laff!” I shouted into the phone and I heard him laughing again. “Just answer the question.”

Eric, you should know you can have sex anytime of day. You shouldn't have to ask anyone that,” he replied and I knew he was right. What was it about this girl that had me questioning myself? I was totally off on my game.

Here's a little teaser from the next chapter of Tense & Release, which will update tomorrow. it's a little taken out of context, but that just makes it funnier, imo. Also, the playlist (link in my profile) has been updated as well with a glimpse of tomorrow's songs, so go check it out!!

“Aha! I knew it!”

“Knew what?” I asked, confused by what she had figured out.

“You like Sexpancakes!” she squealed, clapping her hands in delight.

Just as she said that, our waiter came up, hoping to take our order. He looked a little uncomfortable as he said, “Um, ma’am? I’m sorry, but we don’t have pancakes on our menu. I can ask the chef if she could whip some up, but…” he trailed off, his cheeks a bright red.

Between our waiter and Amelia, I couldn’t help but sputter the tea I had just sipped all over the table. I groaned and grabbed my napkin, wiping up the mess while apologizing to the waiter and asking him for a few more minutes. Relieved, he scampered away, leaving Amelia and me bursting into giggles.

Okay all you NH/SVM fans! The following is an excerpt from a new SVM/Night Huntress crossover fic called Heroes and Hitmen (which we finally named about 5 minutes ago *squee*), written collaboratively by Tradermare, LanYap, and myself. The three of us have been working our arses off for about a month on this and are nearly done with the story. It will be roughly 30,000 words from start to finish, and will be posted in three parts over three weeks. We hope you enjoy our first teaser...in the voice of one of the hottest undead men we know...Bones.

This is the profile we will be posting the story to:

http://www.fanfiction.net/~norcrisp76

Completed fic will have spoilers: Through book 4 of NH, through Dead and Gone of SVM. FYI: This excerpt also contains spoilers!!!

Bones POV

She didn’t like my explanation though. Not by a long shot. All she seemed to hear me say were the words blood and Sookie. And to her, that seemed to be the equivalent of a bedtime romp. After witnessing the power exchange between Mencheres and myself, she should have known exactly what took place. Throw a woman into the mix, and she bent out of bloody shape.

The first object she threw at me was a pillow.

“If you wanted to fuck another girl Bones, you didn’t have to go about it in such an elaborate way!” She yelled, as I caught the pillow with one hand.

“You’re being ridiculous. It has absolutely nothing to do with sex—”

Am I being ridiculous?” Deciding the pillow was too soft, she threw a candle from the coffee table next. I caught it with my other hand.

Kitten, you are trying my patience."

My eyes were now glowing too. Her jumping to absurd conclusions about my intentions with Sookie infuriated me. Never, had I ever, wanted to shag another woman since I met her. Even after she had broken my heart by leaving me all those years ago, and the opportunity to erase her memory by burying myself inside other women had been presented constantly, I still didn’t want another. I loved her truly and madly then, and I always would. It hurt to think she could twist my explanation now, so drastically.

“Oh, you’ve tried mine too baby, and I can throw things all night!”

That was it! She turned to grab a dish filled with synthetic potpourri from the table, and I was on her in less than a second.

“That’s enough!” Now I was yelling.

I had her pinned to the floor. Straddling her waist, I swung my legs back awkwardly to hold hers down, while I held her wrists down on the floor beside her. I could hear her heart beating like a drum from the adrenaline, as she struggled beneath me. Her heartbeat was one of several human traits she still seemed to maintain. Whenever she was excited, her ticker seemed to beat louder, and faster, than it ever had when she was human. That sound, though I should have been nothing but angry by then, flipped another switch inside of me. I could feel myself growing hard against her stomach. She didn’t miss it either, and looking at my crotch, then back to my eyes…a slight smirk replaced the straight, angry line, her mouth had been.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a bloody man. I’ve had a good long life, and shagged a good many women. So, when I see an opportunity like this before me, I take it. And having it off with my wife when we're at our angriest…well, I’m not above using that anger to get each other’s rocks off.

I blame her. She has the power to both boil my blood and make my cock ache simultaneously.

Here's a preview of Chapter 20 of Sorry Ladies, Northman's Off the Market

The car pulled into the long driveway of the Northman country house and I couldn’t help but feel disappointed that Sookie wasn’t with me. I’d wanted to see her reaction to the place. It had always been my favorite retreat and I’d hoped that she liked it as much as I did. But I would have to get over that.

Pam had hopped out of the car and hollered back, “You’d best put on your game face Loverboy. Looks like Sophie-Anne is in residence.” And with that she was gone, linking arms with Amelia as they walked up the steps to the front door. I climbed out of the car looking for Sookie’s blonde head to be beside them and gave a small smile of relief when Stavros pointed towards the car. Good, maybe I could get a few minutes with Sookie before the onslaught of questions.

I’d climbed into the back seat of the car with her and took her hand in my own. From the looks of it, she was in a full-fledged panic attack. I did my best to soothe her and think I even managed to calm her down quite a bit. So I had to revert back to nice Eric and not predator-get-in-your-pants Eric, but that was okay.

For now.

Hey guys, this is my first time posting on a forum, so I hope I've got this right! W/o further ado, here's a spoiler for Chapter 10 of School Hard:

From across the dance floor I finally spotted Eric. I thought (well okay, twist my arm, I hoped) that maybe he would be dark and brooding while he was thinking of ways to get me back, or even angry about my costume and my cutting remark. I had no idea how The Plan had affected him, so at the very least, I would have settled for a little jealousy.

But he was smiling. At someone next to him. I couldn’t see who because of the crowd, and I was thisclose to angling closer, but finally the people who had been obstructing my view moved.

It was Ms. Ravenscroft. He was talking and laughing with Pam Ravenscroft.

Okay, no harm there. They were just friends, right?

At that exact moment, Eric bent down and kissed her on the lips.

This is a quick glance at the upcoming chappy of 2.0, should be out by Friday. It's not been beta'd yet!:

“Maybe we should stay for a couple more days.” Eric mumbled.

“What was that? Did you just say a couple more days?” I propped myself up on my elbow giggling at Eric’s sheepish smile.

“Or forever, that would be even better.” Eric said burying his face into my neck. I shivered as he tickled me with his lips. He placed soft kisses along my arm and I watched as the gooseflesh rose on my skin. Eventually he let his head rest on my stomach and wrapped his arm around my hips.

“Don’t tempt me. But really I haven’t written a word since we set foot in this house, we have a baby that will be here soon, and we have a mystery on our hands.” I said counting off on my fingers to emphasize my list.

“No one is stopping you from writing here Sook, if you need to get some work done I can go water skiing or fishing or hiking” Eric looked up from his snuggling and smirked at me. He also counted down on his fingers, copying my list making.

“Matter of fact, I will let you get to right now.” Eric started to remove himself from my grasp and as hard as I tried not to I squealed in protest.

“No baby, please stay. I don’t want to work; I just want to be here with you. Right now this is all that matters.” I stuck my lip out in a little pout coercing him back into bed.

Okee, well Im not beta'd nor will it be and this is just in the first stages before I've even edited, but heres a little snippet from Chapter 9 of "I Need Your Love Tonight."

Thats when Amelia snapped...

"Okay I get this whole chivalry thing because you love him and all, I even get the little game of cat and mouse and foreplay you two have going on, but what I dont get is how can you be so clueless?"

"Excuse me?" Sookie replied taken back by Amelia's sudden outburst and Amelia shook her head in disbeleif...

"The man saved your life Sookie, he breathed air into your lungs, he is the reason you are standing here right now, and yet you're the one who shuts him out."

"I do not." Sookie protested but Amelia had her hand up, clearly displaying to her that she had the floor Amelia answered...

"Yes, you do...I saw the defeat in his eyes when he left your room this morning, I bet he stayed there all night too and YOU pushed him out didnt you?"

Sookie looked down at the ground with her brows creased as her mind churned over that possibility and Amelia concluded...

"We might not even be here right now looking for him if you had it in you to show some gratitude." Amelia surrendered throwing her hands up into the air and then Pam strode up to them just in the nick of time, dressed to the 9's in a pair of gorgeaus Italian heeled boots a jade green suede skirt with matching jacket and a pair of turtle colored sunglasses to mask her beautiful face and she lowered the glasses and replied with a perfectly painted mauve smirk...

"Did I come at a bad time?"

Amelia looked back at Sookie who was still feeling guilty sulking a few steps away and then Pam replied firmly when neither one replied...

"Good, because I have no patience for sissy pms crap, we have some business to tend to."

Here's a sneak peek at my newest chapter of One Year Later. I haven't gotten the Sookie/Eric part written yet so Hunter and Janelle will have to do for Teaser Monday! The chapter should be up no later than Wednesday! Enjoy!

He pushed her back onto the bed and climbed on top of her being careful not to put his weight on her. The fact that she had a baby growing inside of her was starting to make him nervous. He didn't want to hurt it by putting too much weight on her. He broke the kiss for a moment and asked, "This is safe isn't it? I mean, we aren't going to hurt the baby?" She giggled and said, "Hunter, I don't know a lot about being pregnant, but I'm pretty sure that it is safe to have sex right up until the baby is born." He was glad when she said that. The thought of how beautiful she would be as her belly grew, with their baby inside, was getting him hard. He had always thought pregnant women were beautiful, but was starting to realize that there was something about them that really turned him on. Especially when the baby the woman was carrying was his. "Good," he said smirking, "because I think the further along you get the more trouble I'm going to have keeping my hands off of you. You are going to be so beautiful," he said as he attacked her jaw and neck with his lips, teeth, and tongue. "Not that you aren't beautiful already," he added.

Here's a peek at at my next chapter for The Proposal. This chapter will be posted this weekend. Happy Teaser Monday:)

Niall sighed impatiently. After a brief and heavy silence, he spoke.

"Do you seek the glory of being her hero, or do you wish to be the man that saves her life?"

A searing pain ripped through the very center of his undead body. He clutched the phone closer to his ear, so as not to drop it, while gripping the chair so firmly with his other hand that his bones protruded, breaking through the flesh in a bloody mess. He bent over, his long, golden hair forming a curtain around him, as he resorted to a very human reaction, almost long-forgotten – he struggled for breath, as if he had been punched in the stomach.

His skin sprung to life with a web of shallow but painful stings, burning with the warmth of dying living-blood. Sookie. He shut his eyes, but he could still see the ugly cuts being cruelly painted on her body, allthewhile seething at the fact that he could do nothing but observe, through his ever-weakening connection to her heart.

Niall's challenge only made the pain cut sharper and deeper.

"Fine." Eric conceded. "But I expect to hear from you before the sun rises, fairy."

"Of course. I will contact you directly." Niall agreed. After a brief pause, he added in a soft whisper, almost as if musing to himself. "you really do love her, vampire."

It's not breaking the rules to post a teaser for two different stories in the same day is it? *bites nails*

Here's one from the next chapter of Studybuddies, which I almost have finished :)

*****

I threw on a pair of worn jeans, the kind that only look and feel the way they do because they’ve been worn so much, and a thin, black long-sleeved sweater. Yes, I still wore sweaters in the summer. They tended to be thinner though, and if it gets too hot, I’ve been known to wear a tee shirt.

When I was dressed, I used the bathroom, and brushed my teeth. Then I grabbed my wallet, and walked to the restaurant. Merlotte’s was a nice place. I’d only been in once, when Sookie needed to run in to get her paycheck, so I only got to see just inside the door. This time I went in and asked the first waitress I saw where Sookie’s section was. She pointed in a general direction, and I headed that way. There was only one booth open, and I slid right in, and looked around while I waited. Her section was packed with elderly people, and they all looked happy and comfortable. I glanced around at the other sections and noticed that this one had the most people.

When Sookie came out, I realized why. She had a tray of food for one of her tables, and her warm smile never left her face. She laughed, and talked to her customers, and some of them even showed her pictures of grandchildren, all of whom she knew by name. I even heard her ask one of the couples about their health, and she seemed really concerned and caring, and even suggested something healthier off the menu because the man’s cholesterol had gone up.

Basically, I fell more in love with her as I watched her. I was completely zoned out as I observed her, and I’m sure I had a huge grin on my face. Then she spotted me, and her whole face lit up as she came over to my table.

I stood up and gave her a hug, even though I was pretty sure it wasn’t completely appropriate, but she hugged me back.

“Now, you know not all my customers get hugs like that. You should feel lucky,” she teased as I sat back down.

“Damn straight,” said a voice from the booth behind me. I turned to the side, and saw a small, thin man sitting there with a tiny woman, who was grinning at him and holding his hand.

“Oh, Ernie, hush and eat your waffles,” Sookie giggled.

“Now, Miss Sookie, you don’t just give hugs to anyone,” the old man continued, “Who is this lucky bastard?”

The woman didn’t even blink at his cussing. “Yes, Sookie. Introduce us,” she said.

“Oh, alright. Ernie, Millie, this is my boyfriend Eric. Eric this is Ernie and Millie,” Sookie said.

I slid out of the booth, and went over to shake both of their hands. “It’s nice to meet you both,” I said.

“He’s quite the looker, dear,” Millie said, and I saw a blush creep into Sookie’s cheeks.

*giggles* That was 497 words, so I didn't break that rule! :)

Yay for Mondays! Here's a blurb from Sookie's meeting with Papa Northman from the un-beta'd version of Chapter 22 of Sorry Ladies, Northman's Off the Market

Even as intimidated as I was standing before this paragon of a man, I didn’t forget my manners. One thing Gran had always taught me was that a smile and a polite greeting got you far with just about anyone. So I dimpled and offered my thank yous, which seemed to be the right thing to do. It quickly became apparent that good manners and keeping my mouth shut would be enough to keep him happy.

As for the rest of the crowd, well, let’s just say I was grateful to have a few friendly faces in the crowd with Pam, Amelia and Stavros, even if I didn’t have much of an opportunity to interact with them. I did have a part to play after all, and I didn’t think running to the comfort of my friends would make much of an impression.

The rest of the people in the room presented a bit of a challenge for me, but it was a challenge Eric had prepared me for. At least I knew what I was getting myself into.

Sophie-Anne seemed content to befriend me and treat me as if she were my aging grandmother. As weird as that was, at least it was consistent, and I could handle it. Her father made it pretty clear that I didn’t rate on his scale of importance and dismissed me with a cold nod. Mrs. Leclerq, on the other hand, was loud and vivacious. I may have liked her in another circumstance, but it seemed too fake to me. It was as if she was trying too hard to gain my acceptance. I tried to stifle a laugh when an image of Mrs. George from Mean Girls flashed across my eyes. “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom.” It was a shame she didn’t have a little Chihuahua in her arms biting at her nipples. That might’ve broken up the tension a bit.

Here's my little teaser from tomorrow's update of Tense & Release!

***

When I got back to Valhalla, a huge crowd was pushed up against the bar, and I wondered what was going on. The first thing that hit me was the music blaring loudly from the jukebox. Who the hell added this to my jukebox? I looked over to the side of the room and saw Pam standing against a wall, her arms crossed with a haughty look on her face. I couldn’t believe her! The bitch had the audacity to disgrace my thoughtfully created collection of music with a song about humps? Oh, she was going to pay for this. I glared at her, and was surprised when she just smirked and nodded in the direction of the bar. It was then that I noticed why a mass of people had congregated over there.

I had to rub my eyes, because I could not believe what was happening on my bar. Three women were up on the counter, gyrating to the music, their heels surely cutting into the finished wood. I rushed up, wondering why Pam was allowing this Coyote Ugly insanity to occur, when I was stopped in my tracks. One of the women dancing up on the bar was Sookie.

And I also updated the playlist with tomorrow's songs ;)

This teaser is for my new story Over the Moon. Sookie is a telepathic journalist who meets a mysterious Eric. Vampires are in the closet in this world, but she soon learns what he is. In spite of her fears, she wants him . She can't help herself--she's over the moon. If you're familiar with my stories, you know that I post frequently--usually daily. This little taste is from chapter 6 which should be ready to post on Tuesday. (Chapter 5 will be up today.) If you are too young to read fics rated M, please move along to the next teaser.

I found the perfect sized bud and clipped it, but just as I held it to my nose to smell it, I pricked my finger on a thorn. It startled me and I dropped my clippers. I bent over to retrieve them and slipped them into my robe pocket as I transferred the rose to my other hand, sucking on the drop of blood on my finger. The taste of my own blood took me back to the previous night and suddenly I had a thought. I searched the yard but saw no sign of him. In spite of that, I opened my robe and let it fall to the ground. The cool night air was not unpleasant as it hit my body which had been recently warmed by the bath. I knew it was crazy, but I tilted my head to one side and pressed the stem of the rose to my neck, piercing the flesh with a thorn. I dropped the rose, closed my eyes and waited for the blood to trickle down my neck. It was such an oddly erotic experience. I felt the tickle of the blood as it traveled down to my breast. I touched it and then put my finger between my legs.

Here is a teaser from One Year Later. Hope you enjoy it! I don't usually use a beta and since I haven't finished the chapter it hasn't even been spell checked, so all the mistakes are my own! I'm hoping to have the chapter up by tomorrow at the latest...hopefully tonight!

The dinner went well. Everyone was getting along well which really surprised Hunter and Janelle given their history with her parents. Sookie had just brought in a homemade pecan pie and a pot of coffee, which she began passing out to everyone except for herself and Eric, of course. As everyone enjoyed their dessert Eric said, "Son, I believe it is time for you and Janelle to tell us why we are here." He knew that Hunter and Janelle were very nervous and that they needed prodding. This was the part they were not looking forward to. Hunter grabbed Janelle's hand under the table and looked at her. He didn't know if he should do the talking or if she should. She was unsure herself. Her parents just stared at them wondering what was going on. When nobody spoke for several minutes Shaun said, "Janelle, honey, it's okay, your Mother and I noticed the ring. We deducted that you and Hunter are getting married. I must say that your mother and I do not necessarily agree with your decision, but we cannot force you to change your mind." Another uncomfortable silence fell around the table. Janelle had a nervous smile on her face.

Finally she said, "Um, daddy, actually you are correct, Hunter and I are getting married, but that isn't why we asked you to come here." The look on the Callaghan's faces were looks of utter confusion. Why were they asked there for dinner if it wasn't to announce Janelle and Hunter's engagement? As thoughts began to run through their heads the looks on their faces changed from utter confusion to utter fear. Hunter was still gripping Janelle's hand under the table. He nodded to her to go on. She continued, "Uh, I'm pregnant." Lydia had just taken a sip of coffee and nearly spat it across the room when Janelle made the announcement. Shaun's face was turning red with anger. Sookie tapped Eric on the shoulder and whispered so low that only Eric could hear her, "Should we step in." Eric shook his head. The scene unfolded quickly and Janelle's worst fears came to fruition. This was definitely not going well.

A snippet written, from Part II of NorCrisp76's (Tradermare, LanYap, and Kristin Elizabeth), SVM/NH crossover fic, Heroes and Hitmen.

***********

She moved with me, riding the wave of her climax, and when she screamed, "More! More! More!" I exploded inside of her. We gradually slowed, and when her panting returned to normal breathing, I threw her onto the bed. She laughed as she bounced on the mattress. My naked body came down on hers, and every place our skin met tingled with pleasure. It felt so right, lying on top of her, my hair framing her face, speaking her name between kisses, tongues teasing, her breath on my skin. I willed myself to slow down this time.

From my story Safe Harbor (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5405222/1/Safe_Harbor)

“As we speak, Sookie, I’m sure your Eric is trying to maneuver me into a position of returning you home. Of course I am trying to make sure that does not happen.”

I felt tears well in my eyes and I willed them away. “But I don’t want to be here.” I may have been mistaken but I thought I heard him sigh.

“Cosita, we live life as we can, not as we would.”

“If Eric can’t maneuver me away you’re saying, Eric will just leave me here?” I could hear the slightly hysterical edge to my voice, I was sure a vampire could hear it too. The last couple of days I’d operated on an idea that this was temporary, I would get my memory back, Eric would come for me or some combination of the two.

The king watched me for a while before speaking and then he seemed to choose his words carefully. “I don’t want to be cruel, Sookie. Most of us have had human companions at some point in our undead existence. Many of us have fallen in love with these humans. Eric is over a one thousand years old, you are 27. Even if you were with him now, even assuming he loved you -- you would always have grown old and died. Short of turning you, the time he would have spent with you in his vampire existence wold have been very brief. That is the way of things. Perhaps that time came sooner for him than he expected.”

I looked out over the balcony, hugging myself against the cold. Below us I could see people walking down the strip, enjoying the night. “You’re not what I expected.”

“How did you expect me?” He actually sounded curious.

I thought for a minute. “Mean?” I said, finally.

He chortled a little.

I looked at him, frowning. I didn’t like being laughed at. “What’s so funny?” I asked defensively.

“What reason would I have to be mean to you? I wanted you here. You are here and you will work for me when I ask.”

“I guess I thought you’d bully me.”

He looked a little cross at that. “Has someone said something to you since you’ve been here?”

“Um, not really.”

“Sookie. I am very powerful. I have lived for the better part of a millennium. I have not been “mean” as you say, or cruel because there is no point to it. It would terrify you. It would destroy you. There are people to whom I must be cruel. There are people who need discipline -- but there is no reason to be cruel to you. It would accomplish nothing other than breaking you.”

I didn't say anything for a while. The wind was picking up, I wanted to go inside where it would be warm.

“Sookie, if I were mean to you or hurt you what would you do?”

“I’d be even more afraid than I am now.”

“You shouldn’t fear me. But you’d hate me, you’d attack my guards trying to escape, you might even hurt yourself.”

“And you don’t think I’d do that now?”

“No you’re too much of a survivor to hurt yourself and you’re too innately good of a person to hurt someone who has never hurt you. If you had to, you would hesitate and that moment of hesitation would cost you your freedom, the people working for me are very good at what they do.”

“So being nice to me is just an other way to get me to obey?”

“That’s one way of putting it,” he said sliding off his leather jacket and draping it over my shoulders. “Or you can believe that you are valuable to me, I want you to be safe, I’d prefer you be happy and that eventually, I’d like you to stay here of your own free will.”

From next chapter of The F/Stop:

A large, warm hand snaked around my waist, while hot breath whispered against my ear. “Don't worry, he doesn't bite hard...unless you want him to.” Turning my gaze onto my newest visitor, my breath hitched at the sight before me. The human half of the Erikson twins, Leif, was standing next to me, his glorious 6'4 frame bent down to nuzzle at my neck. While I personally much preferred his brother's long mane, I had to admit, his cropped hair did expose those beautiful features nicely, and allowed for much easier access to his smooth, honey toned skin, which he was now rubbing ever-so-deliciously against my cheek.

Here is the beginning of the next chapter of Dead without a Work Permit. I think I will post it tomorrow:

When we were out of the sauna, he started kissing me.

“You are so hot,” he whispered.

“I just came out of the sauna. Of course I`m hot,” I teased him.

“Oh, so you`re only hot from the sauna, are you?”

I blushed a little. Talking about your alleged hotness when you are naked in the arms of a guy who was incredibly hot even if he hadn`t been to a sauna, was just not that easy.

He pulled me closer and started to kiss the skin on my chest. His lips felt almost cool.

“You are hot.” This time he put pressure on `are` instead of `hot`. I wasn`t sure I liked that.

Here is Deadly Confessions Chapter 7. It will be posted by Thursday night:

“Good morning dear one,” he said leaning over far enough to kiss my forehead. I smiled and continued chewing my food. “Is there anything you wish to tell me?” he asked and I quirked an eyebrow.

“About what Eric? I haven't left your house all day,” I replied and he downed his drink in one gulp.

“I felt your irritation...” he said while walking over to the sink and rinsing out the bottle. He opened the cabinet and stuffed it in the trash.

“Is this how its going to be all the time Eric? I get upset at something or someone and you are going to question it?” I quipped and he walked over to the stool beside me and perched on it.

“No, but I do like to know what got you upset.”

“What if I don't want to talk about it?” I asked pushing a few pieces of lettuce in the bowl around with my fork.

“Then you don't have to tell me. But I want to know about you, anything,” he said and placed his finger under my chin to lift my eyes to his. “I am here if you want to talk about anything. I am here for you.”

The sincerity in his words made me want to slap myself. I would need to make sure not to jump to conclusions all the time with him. “I'm sorry Eric.”

Here's a blurb from Chapter 11 of my story Dead But Not Forgotten (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4975202/1/Dead_But_Not_Forgotten).

****************************************************************

"Felipe, I understand. I will not fail you or my bonded. I will contact you and Niall if anything happens. Now you must go or you will miss your flight."

"I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a private jet. Flying with Anubis can be so tedious." The King replies as he walks out the door.

He is finally gone. Thank the Gods! I really do not think I can stand anymore surprises, I thought Sookie would be my only wild card, but oh no! The King has to prove that between he and Niall they are neck and neck with Sookie. I begin to securing the house as I make my way to my day chamber, my thoughts are running rampant. Fuck, if I were a human I would have gray hair from all of this shit. I really am starting to wonder if this is some giant Fairy conspiracy to kill me by driving me insane.

I cannot not afford to dwell on my conversation with the King. I must lock my newly found knowledge away for contemplation another day. Sookie cannot know, Pam cannot know, either one of them might just stake me if they even suspect my involvement.

The last steel door begins to open and I am greeted by the scent of female arousal, and not just one female, but two. What are those two little minxes up to? The question really is not what they are up to, I know what they are up to. The question is really what am I going to do about it. I could be angry, they did not seek my permission, but did they really need it? They are bound together, so their newly found attraction is not surprising.

I continue to block the bonds we share while I watch silently. There is nothing gently about their coupling their hands are touching, pinching, and pulling every inch of skin they can reach. When Sookie pushes back and takes Pam's pert, pink nipple into her mouth, a hungry moan escaping her lips. Seeing the two of them together, my women, wrapped in each other's arms causes my dick to become painfully hard, it takes every ounce of my control to continue to stand there, motionlessly, watching and waiting.

Here's a teaser from Chapter 43 of Death Eatin' A Cracker - I promised it yesterday when I messed up and posted a chapter by mistake, there is another one on my profile -

....“So I knew that sherbet was just too outstanding not to use in some way. I racked my brain for a way to serve it, and I came up with one.” I drew up on my knees and Eric continued to regard me somewhat indulgently.

“First thing is to scoop out the sherbet with a big melon baller and place the scoops on cookie sheets. Them I put them back in the freezer until they get really hard. Then I melt Ghiradelli dark chocolate and drizzle it all over the little watermelon sherbet bombes. I’ll put the sherbet back into the freezer to get really hard agan.

“When it’s time to serve them I will place the sherbet bombes on the dessert plates and drizzle them with amaretto. And as each one is served, I’ll light the amaretto on fire.” My eyes widened as I said this last part, and Eric’s also widened slightly in response.

“You eat it quickly, then,” I whispered, leaning in closely and putting my fingers against Eric’s mouth. “The fire warms your lips but doesn’t burn them,” I said. “The chocolate and ice cream melt a little, just around the edges.” I drew my fingers lightly down his chin. He raised that damnable eyebrow at me.

“As you hold it in your mouth, it melts a little further, then starts to slide down your throat.” I brushed both my hands up and down his throat then tapped against his windpipe back and forth. "You can feel the warmth, the ice cream and chocolate, with a streak of cold though it, all the way down.” Eric’s lips parted and his eyes darkened.

“Your mouth is overwhelmed by flavors and sensations; the hot, the cold, the sweet, the watermelon, the alcohol. You struggle for control, but control is not what you need; you need to lose control.” I leaned my face against Eric’s and felt his eyelashes brush against my cheeks. He drew in an unnecessary breath.

“So you fight it for a moment, but then you let go, and you realize that letting go is good, it’s so good, it’s allll gooood,” I shamelessly put all the sex I had into my voice. Eric placed his hand over mine as I continued to run my fingers along his cheek bone and down his neck. He cleared his throat as I touched him there.

“And what time would you be serving this dessert Friday night?” he asked.

Ready for more Cat and Bones with Sookie and Eric in New Orleans?

A teaser from Chapter 3 of NorCrisp76's (Tradermare, Kristin Elizabeth, and LanYap), SVM/NH crossover fic, Heroes and Hitmen:

When Eric and I arrived at Fangtasia and got out of the limo, I turned and looked at him under the street light. God, he was beautiful. The ends of his blond hair just grazed his shoulders, and the custom-made tux was delicious on his Viking physique. He looked admiringly at me as well, in my flowing crimson gown and his thoughts were... well, his thoughts made me want to turn around, and drag him back into the limo for a quickie.

As we stood gazing at each other, I reflected on all Eric and I had been through in the last few years. The Fairy and Vampire Wars had made me realize how much Eric meant to me, and I to him. Eric had always been there for me, even if I had not been aware of it at the time. This, and the thought of losing him, was what made me finally acknowledge my feelings for him. I accepted our vampire marriage, and when Eric became king, I agreed to move to New Orleans to be by his side. It was quite a change, going from Bon Temps cocktail waitress to Consort of the Vampire King of Louisiana, Nevada, and Arkansas.

"Some night," Eric had whispered, "there's going to be nothing else but you and me." That was years ago at my first Dracula Night Party. Eric and I weren't a couple then, but he said that to me after we had danced together. What struck me at the time wasn't so much the "you and me" but the "some night." Those two words took hold in my heart, and I wrestled with them for years. Eric's nights were his days, so "some night" meant "some day." Some day, we would be together. It was Eric's promise of a future for us. A future that for a while, I stubbornly fought. But, now that we were in the midst of it, the "nothing else but you and me" just fell into place. We had servants, staff, and security almost constantly afoot, but because we were together, there really was only Eric and me.

The crowd outside Fangtasia was calling us forward, and it snapped me out of my reverie. I plastered on my smile, put up my shields, and took Eric’s arm. As we walked together and smiled for the photographers and well-wishers, I felt like a princess. Then I remembered the potential for disaster tonight and wondered if I wasn’t more like Cinderella, and if everything would come crashing down at midnight. We were at Eric’s annual Dracula Night Party, the first one at Fangtasia New Orleans, and there were people here trying to kill us.

Woot Monday Teasers!!!

Here's the latest from tomorrow's Tense & Release. It's just a tiny taste, but I think y'all will like it *smirks*

*****

My eyes were already closed, so I just sighed out, “Mmhmm.”

Sookie kneeled behind me, and her hands came up on either side of my face. She pulled my head up and out, gently setting it back down. It felt incredible. I whispered out, “Thank you,” hoping she would hear it before moving on. To my surprise, she was still crouched down by me, and she bent down further, her lips ghosting against my cheeks.

“You’re welcome.”

Chapter 16 of Truth or Dare:

Lafayette Reynolds did look like a sleek, albeit pampered cat, with his slim yet voluptuous body, his thick close cut salt and pepper hair, and his mischievously twinkling brown eyes that tilted slightly up at the corner. The fact that he was wearing bright blue eye shadow and lipstick almost went unnoticed. Eric had to stifle a chuckle at the mental image of a combination of Morgan Freeman and Nathan Lane in “Birdcage”. But, Eric admitted to himself, that was Lafayette in a nutshell.

When Eric rang the bell to the luxurious mansion in Nob Hill, his butler answered and escorted him into his front parlor, where he lay reclined on a red velvet chaise lounge. The rest of the place had been decorated in a style that Eric would have assumed was called Early Bordello, circa San Francisco during its wild, Barbary Coast days.

The man would have been right at home in the salons of eighteenth-century London and France, providing that he was a she. For one wild moment, Eric wondered what his dear friend Pam had gotten him into.

“Well ain’t you just sex on a stick? So,” Lafayette purred, “you’re interested in Sookie Stackhouse?”

Nothing like a queen who got straight to the point.

If you’re following my story Under the Moon, I’ll be wrapping that one up with its final chapter today. But either tonight or tomorrow I’ll begin posting its companion piece, told from Eric’s point of view, called Under the Stars. In these stories, Sookie is a telepathic reporter who meets a sexy Eric, but vampires are still in the closet in this world. Here’s a tiny tease from the first chapter of Under the Stars. It’s rated M, so please move along to the next teaser if you’re too young to read mature material.

***

I kissed her and pressed myself between her legs. She responded beautifully. I found her jugular and bit down, and that’s when the encounter went from my control to hers. She tasted like no other human I’d ever tasted. My mindless vampire instinct kicked in and I wanted to claim her as mine. Without even thinking, I bit my tongue and planted my blood in her. It’s a physical response to finding a pleasing meal. I marked her with a vampire version of lojack so I could return to her and taste her again in the future. And in my mindless moment, the woman came. She had an actual orgasm in response to getting my blood, and so I lost it then and there and ruined a very expensive pair of pants.

Im going to try to get this one up later today, I just have to fill in a few gaps and edit. Here is an excerpt from Chapter 11 of I Need Your Love Tonight...

"Here drink this!" Eric insisted handing Sookie her glass of wine and she covered her mouth a few small coughs still left.

"Can you turn that off please?" Sookie asked taking the glass of wine after she had gotten it all out of her system. She didn’t think she could stand watching that woman any longer and Eric clicked stop turning the power off on the player he replied explaining...

"She's in 2 of them and I beleive Russell is in several as well, incase you were still working on that story?"

He phrased it as a question wondering if she was still following her leads, and Sookie looked up at him, her brow creased in pain as she remembered once again that she was unemployed. Everything had happened so quickly she barely had time to process it. What was she going to do for money? There was no way in hell she was going to depend on charity from Eric or Amelia. She was an independant and strong woman and could most definately earn her own salt. Even if she had to waitress again, she would do it.

"I don’t know, everything's been so crazy lately, I’m just waiting for the world to stop spinning." Sookie took a long sip of her wine and closed her eyes leaning her head back on the couch in an attempt to clear her head and centralize her chain of thought.

"Well you can stay here while you’re waiting."

Eric offered taking her hand in his and folding his fingers through hers. Sookie opened one eye watching him as he looked down at her hand. His touch caused her pulse to rise, and she suddenly wanted to bury her head in his hard chest and never let go, realizing she was having that yearning feeling again, but she knew she couldn’t give into it. She needed to keep her wits about her and that certainly wasnt going to happen while she was staying at Eric's casa de amore.

She swallowed, lightly squeezing his hand to let him know this wasn’t about him and she answered with dry throat... "I think I should go home, I've imposed on you enough already, plus all of my clothes are there, I cant very well live in one of your bathrobes can I?"

Eric's gaze lifted to meet hers and he raised his brows, causing color to once again flush across Sookie's face as he licked his lip subconsciously. She knew what he was thinking and no that most certainly was not going to work.

Here is this weeks teaser from my story One Year Later. I hope to have the chapter posted tonight, but the way things are going so far today, it may very well not happen! I will definitely have it up by Tuesday night at the latest.

Enjoy this teaser! Since the chapter isn't finished it may be changed around a little, but it will at least give you a peek into what to expect in the chapter!

“Son, what do you think?” Eric asked. He expected his son to be excited by what he was showing him, but instead Hunter shouted, “What do I think? I think you shouldn’t have brought me here,” as he began running up the stairs towards Eric’s office. “Son, what is wrong?” Eric asked following behind him. “I did not expect you would be put off. I thought you would find it interesting and that it would give you and Janelle a place to explore yourselves sexually. It is fully equipped. Is that not what you came to me for help with?” “Dad, it’s not the room that has me upset. No, not upset. Upset is not a strong enough word. I'm pissed off!" "Son, if it is not the room, then what is it?" Hunter took a deep breath and continued, "It’s everything that’s happened in that room. Did you really think that I had never heard about what goes on down there? I can hear people’s thoughts remember.” Eric was shocked. In that moment he knew that his son had heard thoughts that he really wished he hadn't heard. He feared that now he would have to explain himself. In Eric's failure to speak, Hunter said, "At least before I knew the room existed, I could think that it was all just ugly rumors, but now I know that it's all true. I can't believe you and mom would do things like that!"

“Let me touch you.” He whispered into my ear, his sexy low voice made me moan and I knew is wasn't a question, it was a command and I obeyed him without hesitation, placing my hands on his shoulders, pushing and rubbing myself against him like a cat.

His hands were everywhere, grazing my stomach, tickling the flesh underneath my breast, brushing my hair away from my face and nuzzling his nose into my neck. It felt so intimate but it felt so fucking good.

“Please Eric,” I heard myself whisper back to him and I heard a low growl of pleasure escape his lips.

Mwahahaha...confused yet? That is all I am giving away!

I'm hoping to get this out tomorrow:

From my story: Safe Harbor

Finally after what seemed like forever the meeting ended. There was a kind of formal goodbye, the king/Don rose, we all followed his movements, and everyone filed out of the room. Since I didn’t know where to go I just stood there and waited.

When Ivan didn’t return to get me I started looking around the room. If I went out through the front I risked running into people. I knew the waitstaff had used a different entrance. I went to the back of the room and found a door locked with a security panel. Key cards! I tried the other way, going back through the board room.

Felipe was waiting for me.

He sat regally at the head of the table. Don had fallen away from his persona. He sat in his chair, shoulders back, dark eyes glittering at me in the light of the room. I felt everything close in on me. Maybe he thought I was off using the bathroom. Was there even a bathroom in that direction?

“What was that?” Felipe asked, with no more elaboration. Words froze in my throat, I froze where I stood.

Am hoping that if I post this, it'll kick my butt into finishing the next chapter this week *crosses fingers*

Unbeta'd (ie subject to change) Chapter 23 Northman's Off the Market

“Oh God Eric,” she said again, only this time the pleasure was replaced with anger. She pushed at my shoulders and smacked my hands away from her. I lifted my eyes to meet hers and captured both of her hands with my own. The look on her face was furious.

“Don’t think that I have forgotten what you did to me last night,” she barked out and struggled to free her hands.

“I haven’t,” I said simply. “And I haven’t forgotten what you did to me either.”

I saw the flush color her face and sat back to see how far down it went. I’d been curious since the first day with her and was pleased to know that everything I could see was that alluring shade of red.

I shifted my body so that my torso was hovering over her and our eyes were aligned. Even as turned on as I knew she was, she still looked like she’d like nothing better than to make a necklace out of my balls.

“I told you I’d take care of you this morning Lover.” I leaned down and nipped at her neck, trailing my tongue up the sensitive skin and nipping at her earlobe. “I’m a man of my word. So, as you said last night, I want you to sit back, relax and let me take care of things for you.”

Chapter 10 of Dark Storm Rising WILL end with a long episode of ESN :-D

When it came to his special guest, Eric insisted that he be subjected to the same scrutiny as any other individual seeking access to the heavily guarded suites beyond the armed guards, video surveillance, and thumb print sensors. A dark elf or Fae, could easily imitate Eric's outward form, but his fingerprints and scent would be difficult to replicate. As he walked down the corridor leading to the Royal Suite, waves of power washed over him. After a retina scan, the guards bowed him into the suite. Two powerful women awaited him. The Ancient Pythoness was seated on a throne-like chair, her wild, white hair, floating in a gossamer nimbus about her head. Her sightless eyes stared directly at him. Next to her stood a tall, austere woman with proud, patrician features and eyes like green ice. Her long, unbound hair was the color of ripened wheat. She wore a blue, traditional Viking overgarment over a white gown. He checked a wave of apprehension. The presence of Finna Hrútsdóttir, high gythja of the Aesir and eldest of the ancient Nordic priestesses, confirmed the enormity of the threat against them.

Eric knelt as Ancient Pythoness and the Norse gythja extended their hands in blessing. Finna sat next to the Ancient Pythoness and indicated that Eric should sit on the chair that faced them. The Ancient Pythoness’s harshly accented voice broke the silence.

“The High Gythja and I have been summoned here through the powerful sendings of a deity. Our visions were alarmingly similar. We saw the entity that supports the axis of the nine worlds and the very fabric of existence shaken to its roots.”

Finna nodded solemnly. “Yes the World-Tree is threatened. The prophesies are being realized. In the end times the dead will openly walk the earth; chaos, oath breaking, and violence will reign in the world of men. I believe that the Great Revelation fulfills the first part of the prophesy. Certainly for all of the technological advances, Midgard is more chaotic and dishonorable today than at any former time in my existence. I was brought here by my lord Thor--the guardian of Midgard who roots our world firmly in the multi-verse. We are upon the brink. The end approaches unless our choices are true and our resolve is unbreakable.”

Here is a little sneak peak at the next chapter in Herseys Kisses, that should be up in the next day or so.

Enjoy....

I grabbed a pair of jeans and slipped them on. Pulled a light pink sweater over my tank, grabbed my purse, and slammed the door behind me.

I found myself, fifteen minutes later, walking into the same bar I had met Eric at. The only difference was the mind set. Tonight was not about f**ing. Tonight was about erasing him from my thoughts.

I was going to get him out of my head one way or another.

I sat down at the bar and ordered a gin straight up. The bar was not crowded tonight. My choices were slim. There were a few singles sitting around, but I needed something specific, someone that at least looked like a good f**k. That was when I spotted him.

He had dark hair, dark eyes and a rather exotic look about him. He actually looked familiar, but I knew I didn’t know him. Maybe he was a prospect from another night. I didn’t care who he was. He was handsome enough to get the job done, I thought. Now I only needed to distract him from that damn computer he was so intent on.

Too bad I didn’t think to bring my dress with me. That would have made this a lot easier. I downed the remains of my drink and took off in his direction.

I must admit, that tonight I wasn’t going to be at my best. I was not near as confident as I would have been any other night. But this was something that had to be done, and fast.

I stepped next to his chair and cleared my throat to get his attention. “Hey.” I said in a smooth voice.

“Mam.” He said with a head nod.

A gentleman, interesting.

Hey all! I don't have much but I wanted to give you something. This is an un-Beta-ed look at chapter 11 of Take It Off. I actually considered breaking the rules and posting this tomorrow because I'd probably have it mostly done, but decided to give you what I have now.

"Hey Beautiful; let's see if you can make me look straight," Claude challenged holding out his hand for me to take.

I coyly smiled and extended my hand letting him lead me back down the flight of stairs onto the center of the dance floor.

As Claude and I took the floor ready to rock the club other couples in our group joined us, but one in particular caught my eye, Eric and Pam. Trying vainly to focus my attentions on Claude I failed miserably as my eyes kept shifting to the couple who apparently had been made to dance together. They were magnificent!

I will tell you that the night out on the town comes with its own drama and it doesn't all center around Eric and Sookie. I promise a huge chunk of this chapter is all Eric in his stripping glory! Oh Yeah!
