Rakai123Topic: Animal Crossing, Wii style?
I hear that they're making an Animal Crossing for the Wii. And that it's coming out this year (2008) in Japan. If that's true, wouldn't that be, like, the best thing ever?! If it is true, I can't wait to get it! |
RyanMan13yeah, seriously. its about time they made a new one! like there haven't been tons of fans complaining. i hopr that you get to design your own furniture, and that they add the cliffs from the GC version in the Wii one. Also, i saw a very convincing (yet fake) trailer for it on YouTube. it looked so real... |
Rakai123Designing your own furniture would be awesome. I hope that Nook's can expand even more than Nookington's, so we can have more stuff! |
RyanMan13yeah, but i think it would be even cooler if there were seperate stores for different supplies. like a tool shop, and a flower shop? well, they progressed in that factor already, making the able sisters actually sell things in WW. I hope that you can connect to the internet in the wii game from the computer. tat would be cool! and just thik of all the video game themed furniture they could have! and you caould play your VC games! |
Rakai123Yeah It would be cool. They also should make Redd's shop a permanent one so you could compare the prices between Nook's and Redd's, and that way you could have even more of a variety of products everyday! |
RyanMan13yeah, and there should still be wifi, and you should be able to connect with your DS, and there should be more videos game styled furniture. i have lots of ideas for that! the phantom hourglass, a warpstar, a smash ball, and there should be a wii and DS! that would be cool. |
Rakai123That wouldn't be cool, it would AWESOME! |
RyanMan13and you should be able to have more houses instead of living in one house. you should also be ale to upgrade the house bigger than the maximum size in WW! and you should be able to pick where you put your house. like, there would be different lots for sale; one near the river, one near the ocean, one near the town gate thing and one near the store. that would be the coolest thingg ever. (i actually have that in my AC story that i am writing.) |

RyanMan13ok, i just got the GREATEST NEWS OF ALL TIME!!!!! Animal Crossing for Wii is confirmed! its called ANIMAL CROSSING: CITY FOLK. check out this artcile that i found on wikipedia! and it comes out in november 2008!!!! isn't that awesome?!?!?! In a 2006 interview, Katsuya Eguchi, leader of Animal Crossing's production development, stated, "someone could send a letter from their cellphone or from an email address on a PC to the Wii, and then the player living in the town in Animal Crossing could receive that letter."[3] In another interview with IGN, Katsuya Eguchi also discussed how his team continues exploring potential ways to take advantage of the WiiConnect24 feature such as allowing friends to visit other towns or leave messages while the machine is in standby mode.[4] While including the same objectives from previous games by having players live in and expand their own, unique towns, City Folk includes a city area accessible by bus. It contains many locations related to former timed events and characters. It was revealed that the game includes a salon where the player will be able to get a mask modeled after a chosen Mii character.[5] Returning to the series are real-world holidays such as Bunny Day (Easter) and Halloween [6], which were absent from Animal Crossing: Wild World. The game will be the first Wii game to take advantage of WiiSpeak, a new microphone option for Wii that allows several people in the same vicinity to talk into it, as well as being used for live voice chat.[1] There will also be a host of DS connectivity functionality. Owners of Animal Crossing: Wild World will have the option of "moving" their character from their DS to the Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii, where all items gathered (excluding bells) on the DS version will transfer over to the Wii version. Additionally, the DS can be used to transfer characters between Wiis as a means of visiting other player's towns.[7] Downloadable content has also been confirmed and it has been revealed this will be a free service and new furniture and various other things will be released. |
