Topic: Naraku

ok im not a huge InuYasha fan, but i have seen most episodes and the movies. I think Naraku is the best of the evil villians out of all animes. First of all he's just plain crazy, second of all he turns into a spider. I have always been scared of spiders. And last, he has a really cool voice. That may not matter to you, but it does to me.

So tell me what you think of Naraku.

Naraku seems like a typical evildoer to me. He's obviously coo-coo and hates people for no reason, ergo typical evil guy. I would prefer a vilan who is funny but undeniably evil. Sorry to bring it to topic in an Anime forum but Spike, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the perfect evil guy in my opinion. He would kill you in a seconds' time and he's funny. Not to mention coniving and back stabbing. That, in my opinion, is the way vilans should be in the screens of our tellys.

All the shows i watch (anime wise) have what you call "the typical villain". Now Crowley from the book Good Omens is a funny villian. Actually he's not really that evil at all, he's just stuck working with evil people. But he's not from an anime either.

Ooh, I read that book it was hilarious^_^ Crowly was a great guy, but never seemed much of a villan in any way. The gay angel was great too.

I agree! I love Naraku's voice. That's part of his evilness. The other part? That he's so calm (Most of the time) and you never know if you're attacking him or one of his puppets.
