![]() Kazuma screamed, mostly in rage, but there was a healthy amount of pain in there. "G-Gaah! You race traitor!" He started to run after Sheena and Leon, a dark grimace on his face and violent revenge occupying his thoughts. Won Jun, however, showed up in front of Sheena and Leon, drawing his apparently empty sword. "There is nowhere to go, Sheena. I'm afraid we have you. And I know that there is no way you can fight both me..." Kazuma arrived in short order, and Won finished, "And my dear friend Kazuma here. Why don't you simply surrender to us and go back to where you came from?" 2/18/2012 #31 |
![]() Sheena and Leon skidded to a halt. "What? What do you want with me? What have I done?" A sudden breezed wafted a strange scent in her direction that caused her spine to stiffen. She looked back and forth between them. "Oh God," she said. "Neither of you are human, are you?" Leon looked down at Sheena and then back up at the two strangers in front of them. This wasn't going to end well. 2/18/2012 #32 |
![]() Kazuma looked down, angrier than before, "...I used to be. But I gave that up to protect humanity from bad monsters." How did she know? How the hell did she figure that out? Won answered as well, "I used to be alive. Now, I am little more than a walking corpse." Both got ready to attack, and the two charged. Kazuma struck at Leon with his pillar weapon, while Won Jun slashed at Sheena with an invisible blade. 2/18/2012 #33 |
![]() They both ducked out of the way and backed up a few paces. "So then what the hell does that have to do with me? I'm sorry, but I've never met either of you in my entire life. How is it my fault that you aren't human?" She could feel the tips of her fingers tingling and spiking with pain and she knew that her nails were starting to stretch out into claws. 2/18/2012 #34 |
![]() Won responded, "We were simply hired to attack you. Its nothing personal." Kazuma shouted, "Speak for yourself, Won Jun! I hate these demon bastards!!" He kept attacking them, swinging his pillar weapon at both Sheena and Leon in a huge swinging attack. Won Jun then prepared an attack, making a number of hand seals. 2/18/2012 #35 |
![]() Sheena thew her hands up in the air. "You hear that, Leon? It's nothing personal. So that makes everything better!" Leon dodged, yanking Sheena with him, to avoide the kid's swing. "You really think this is the time to be joking?" "Joking makes the situation feel much less threatening than it already is," Sheena muttered back. She raised her voice and said, "Well, I'm sorry that you hate us, but why exactly to you hate us? Like I said, kid, we've never met you before in our lives!" Leon leaned close to Sheena's ear and started whispering quickly in the ancient Demon language. "Don't you think it's time to stop running and start fighting?" Sheena responded in the same language. "Well, do you happen to have any knives or swords stuffed down your pants? Because I sure don't!" "Oh c'mon Sheena. Combat lesson number one!" He ducked down to the ground and picked up two rocks, both the size of his palm. He straightened and spoke again, switching back to the first language. "Everything is a weapon." Then he proceeded to toss one of the rocks to Sheena and the other straight at the one making the hand signs. 2/18/2012 #36 |
![]() Kazuma answered, shouting, "Because you're all monsters, just parasites eating humanity bit by bit!" He then rushed at Sheena again, bringing the pillar up before smashing it down at her. Won Jun just kept going, and the rock hit him clean in the face, snapping his neck. He finished his hand signs, and a huge water orb formed over Leon before separating into a lot of high pressure water blades that rushed down at him. The zombie absent mindedly cracked his neck back to normal and let it heal back to normal, "That was almost sad." 2/18/2012 #37 |
![]() Sheena growled, stumbling back and hurtling her own rock. It was a blind throw but all that she could do at the moment. Leon swallowed, looking up at the orb of water above him. "Yeah, that was kind of sad, wasn't it?" he said, seconds before the blades fell. But something knocked into him, sending him sprawling to the ground. One of the blades grazed his ear and suddenly blood was pouring out of it and everything became muffled on that side of his head. Standing above him was a nearly translucent figure, dressed in very ancient clothing. His skin was rotting and his neck was twisted at an unnatural angle. Leon would have jumped back had ne not recognized essence of a spirit pulled through the planes of the world. He pushed himself up and looked around for the tall, pale figure. As usual the spirit demon was standing over Sheena, one hand stretched out towards Leon and the spirit he controlled and the other was clutched around the pillar. His elbow was bent and blood was running down his arm from the wound on his hand and Leon thought he saw a bone portruding out of his skin. But if Riven was in any sort of pain he covered it up well. "Tell me," Riven said in his low voice, "how 'monsters' are eating humanity, when you are brandishing your weapon against two kids who are cleary unprotected and without arms, and who clearly have nothing to do with you, and who clearly have done nothing against what you say is humanity. Unless you claim that just being alive is evidence enough. They don't have to have killed innocents or sacraficed babies, just the fact that different blood runs through their veins than yours is reason enough to kill them, is that it?" Riven bent his elbow and shoved the pillar away. His arm fell and blood dripped onto the ground, creating spatters. "To me, this looks like humanity eating away at what you call 'monsters'. But to anyone else? To your precious humans and humanity? This is a massacre." 2/26/2012 #38 |
![]() Kazuma grimaced darkly and prepared to rush in again, "I-I hate...I hate those things so much...I don't know why, but when I look at you, or that girl...I feel like I just have to kill you!" He really could not explain it, other than a feeling, an urgent need to kill, almost written in his biology. Won tried to console him, "Remember, we don't have to kill them, just send them home. That is what our employer wanted." Kazuma was no longer in a listening mood. He ran at Riven, readying his pillar weapon and bringing it up and then down at the demon in a crushing arc. 2/26/2012 #39 |
![]() "You don't know? That's not good enough. There's a reason for everything. Like for me, I want to kill you because you're trying to kill me and my friends and you're royally pissing me off." Riven tossed a lock of his hair that had fallen in front of him over his shoulder. "You're nothing more than an empty shell, a puppet being controlled with no real will. And so you deserve to die like one; swift and without feeling." He raised his hand. "Wait! Sheena said, grasping the hem of Riven's tunic. She stood up and turned to the one who claimed to be a zombie. "What do you mean by sending us home? Who is your employer?" But there was no time for answer because they were being rushed by the one with the pillar. Riven grabbed Sheena's forearm and stepped sidewasy between Planes. When they returned, Sheena's eyes were red and she was clutching her stomach, but Riven's eyes were darker and his hair was full of static. With him, he'd brought at least ten spirits, some missing limps, others missing heads, and some covered in blood but all had weapons in their grasps. Riven raised his hand and the group rushed forward, raising their weapons for attack. Leon climbed to his feet and stumbled over to Sheena and Riven. He was clutching his ear and blood was running down the length of his arm. "Don't ever do that again! I can't go into the Far Plane, remember?" "I remember," Riven said, pulling Sheena to her feet. She lost her balance and fell against Leon but he straightened her. She shook her head and stood up straight. Her face was still a bit sallow but the redness in her eyes had gone away. 2/27/2012 #40 |
![]() Kazuma kept up his attack, but was forced to use his pillar to defend against the numerous spiritual attacks. It looked like the pillar was chipping a little from continuous attacks and being slung around. "Damn...demons." They were lying, he knew it. Fuze=Dragon and he were separate entities, he had a will of his own! Won Jun answered the question, "We were hired by someone who knows you from the Demon Realm, Sheena, and he wants you to go home. Its either return home, or Kazuma and I will take drastic measures." 2/27/2012 #41 |
![]() Riven looked over at Sheena but didn't let up his attack. He knew that Sheena wouldn't like going home, but it was all her decision. Leon looked over at Sheena too and she met his eyes. They were both thinking the same thing; if they went home, it would be hard to come back. Sheena turned back. "When you say return home, does your employer mean permanently?" 2/27/2012 #42 |
![]() Won Jun replied, "Indeed. I would make up your mind, though. It doesn't look like the sealing pillar will hold for long." Kazuma was managing to hold up his defense, but received a slash along his cheek. He hated not being able to use Fuze=Dragon's abilities, but stealth was important too. Not like that mattered now. 2/27/2012 #43 |
![]() "But why?" Sheena snapped, stomping her foot against the ground. "What have I done? I haven't touched the humans here! I haven't injured a single one of them! Why am I being punished? Just who the hell is your employer and what the hell does he have to do with me?" 2/27/2012 #44 |
![]() "I was not informed as to the exact reason why, all I was told is that you are required home. Something about a brother." Won Jun remained utterly emotionless. To him, this was nothing personal. He was just a person doing his job. 2/27/2012 #45 |
![]() Sheena narrowed her eyes. She crossed her arms across her chest and straightened up. "If I'm only required home, then why are you trying to kill me? Sounds like you'r either idiots or you have communication problems. And I'm not going home until I'm told why I need to go home, and why my brother didn't contace me himself. Do you guys think I'm stupid? Well, I can assure you, I'm not stupid. And you won't kill me either, because a. seems to me that I'm needed alive and b. you would have done so already." 2/28/2012 #46 |
![]() "...Very well. Kazuma, stop now." The boy leaped away, and landed by Won Jun. "I...I was so close..." The zombie continued, "Evidently, there is a lot of panic in the demon world. Apparently someone is plotting to assassinate your brother, such is the reason." 2/28/2012 #47 |
![]() Sheena'a muscles tensed and her eyes widened. "What? What do you mean? How do you know this? Who the hell is your employer?!" She rushed to jump at him but Leon grabbed her shoulders, pulling her back. "Stay calm," he whispered. "You still don't know if you can trust him. They were just trying to kill you, remember?" Sheena nodded and calmed down. She looked back at the zombie. "How do I know you're not lying? You were just trying to kill me. How do I know you're not just trying to lure me into a false sense of security?" She turned to Riven. "Riven, pull back the spirits. Put them in a blockade formation." Riven did just that, setting the spirits in two neat lines in front of them. He glanced at Sheena, eyes filled with one part compliance and two parts suspicion. "Alright, tell you what," Sheena continued, "I wanna hear it straight from the horses mouth. Bring your little employer here and let me ask him the questions. Then I might consider going home if I decide it's worth my time. My brother is very strong you know. He won't be killed so easily." 2/28/2012 #48 |
![]() "...We were told as much by our employer's messenger, told to do our job and frighten you home or such. As far as we know, his name is Shibuya Kakuro. We have never seen him in person. But we were told the nature of the threat. The Blackreach Group and Rai-Dei Kurai, the Tall One." Won did not know very much about demons, but he did know a lot about Rai-Dei, namely that the creature had a tendency to go around killing people who knew too much. If Sheena's brother knew too much, then there was no telling what might happen. 2/28/2012 #49 |
![]() Sheena's bottom lip jumped in irritation. "You don't understand. All you're doing is feeding me pretty words. If you want me to believe a word you say, right after your little attack, you're going to have to prove it!" Leon leaned close to Sheena. "Don't push it too much. I get the sense that you're stretching it a bit to thin." "What do you want me to do?" she hissed back, clenching her fists. "Be a bit more strategic." Sheena nodded and bit the inside of her cheek, not quite sure what he meant. 2/28/2012 #50 |
![]() "Very well then. If all you do is dismiss my words as pretty words and demand proof I cannot provide, I'll unseal Kazuma." Using Fuze=Dragon was the last resort, but if she refused to even consider it, then it was the only thing he could do. Kazuma notably brightened up, "D-Do it! I'm tired of the sealing pillar! I think I have a cramp in my arm!" 2/28/2012 #51 |
![]() With that, the zombie slashed the sealing pillar, and there were a loud series of cracks as the pillar broke apart, piece by piece, and then a bright flash of light. When the flash was done, a fleshy extending sound ensued, and Kazuma sighed, "Aah, much better." Now standing before Sheena and company, he had a white, segmented arm covered in exoskeletal armor, a long tentacle pointing backward, a large spike at the end of that, and slowly, a huge claymore materialized behind him. "Ready to call it quits and go home now?" The boy said rather arrogantly. 4/13/2012 #52 |
![]() ((Whoo, gonna start this back up again! Cuz, you know. Inspiration strikes and shizz. Also it's a great opportunity to go and visit the Demon Kingdom and I've always wanted to write about the Kingdom! So yay!)) Sheena and Leon were on their way home from shopping. Across the street, around the corner and down the block sat a secret area surrounded by buildings, each building having different shops. There were tables and chairs and flowers and plants and strings of lights decorated the secret closed-off space year round. Wooden porches wrapped around the inside, leading to many different shops, boutiques, and lounges. Three stories of different worlds that you had to be in the know to know about. And on the third story sat the coziest little tea shoppe that Sheena and Leon had ever seen. They always went there to restock their tea shelf. Sheena pulled a tin out of her bag and held it out in front of her. "'This cuppa is your gateway to guilt-free indulgence. A joyous chorus of creamy, cool peppermint, rich chocolate and smooth, caffeine-free rooibos will make you sing throughout the day. Relish in the calorie-free, healthful pleasure.'" She grinned and bounced on her toes. "I'm going to try this one first when we get home! I'm so obsessed with peppermint right now!" Leon laughed and pulled out a tin out of his own bag. "Then I think I'll try this caramel apple rooibos." Sheena looked over at him. "Will you let me have some? That looks really good." Leon handed her the tin. "I actually got you a tin as well, so now we both have some." "What?!" Sheena stopped in her tracks. "Seriously? Damn, that better be good tea then, because that was expensive!" "Yeah, don't need to tell me twice," Leon muttered. They continued on their way home. But when they got there they both stopped in their tracks, staring. Sitting on their lawn was a giant hand-held carrier. Columns of red, intricately decorated with gold held up the red pagoda roof while curtains of silk hid the inside. Gold beams stuck out from the carrier, two on each side and standing around the carrier were four, muscular men, wearing only black hakama that were tied off at their ankles and giant gold obis. They were shoe less and had black hair tied high on their heads in a topknot. They were massaging their shoulders from having carried the carrier and it's passenger. One of the men turned towards them and squinted. Sheena gasped. His nose was squished flat against his face and he had a very prominent brow line, practically hooking over his eyes which were a cat yellow with two horizontal slits serving as the pupil. He had an incredibly severe under bite and two fangs poke out of his mouth, pressing deeply into his upper lip. Four inch claws stuck out of his broad hands and from her vantage point, it looked almost as if his fingers had an extra joint in them. Sheena took a step back and grabbed Leon's shoulder. But she wasn't scared of the man--she had seen many like him before. She was scared of who might be sitting on the large cushions inside the carrier. The man snorted once and turned towards the carrier. He knocked once on the red column closest to him and then pushed aside the silk curtains, talking to whoever was sitting inside. Sheena was afraid that she wasn't going to be able to try her new tea. 12/28/2012 #53 |
![]() Karin's hand trembled ever-so-slightly as she wiped a fine layer of dust from the old mirror that had been living in her home for as long as she had. It was a little warped, a little grayed, with spots of rust, and a few black smudges where she'd burned it with her spells. She met the eyes of her reflection in the rippled glass, ocean blue ringed with the black caused by her lack of sleep. Her skin, too pale. Her cheeks, sharp and a little sunken. She pushed her bangs back from her face and used her other hand to trace the set of seven markings that ran along the crest of her hairline. She knew that they were the source of the pain that throbbed in her head. She touched them gingerly; they pulsed with deep, black-violet light. Blood dotted her fingertips, as if the markings were trying to cut themselves into her skin. Karin shuddered and dropped her hair back down to cover the marks. She turned from the mirror and towards the hearth in her small cottage. She stirred the water that was heating in the cauldron there with a small, thin, frail hand. She couldn't help but wonder at how far she'd fallen as she stretched her fingers in front of her, pale and trembling. She sighed softly. "The others will come for you, you know." She jumped, her body jerking as she spun around. Her blue eyes narrowed at the child that was sitting on the rough wood of her table, one knee tucked to his chest. "Narkov. What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice little less than a growl. The young boy leaned back on one hand and held his left hand in front of him, examining the back of it. A pentagram was etched deep into his skin, the scar dark purple. "Jace is up to something. I came to warn you." His bright gold eyes flickered up to meet Karin's, his pupils narrowed into vertical slits. Karin stiffened. "What kind of something?" Narkov smirked and ran his hand through his messy black hair. It pulled away from his face for long enough to reveal the markings on the crest of his forehead. They were in an order that was different from Karin's, but they were the same symbols nonetheless. The markings were glowing, just like Karin's, but bright blue. "The kind of something that you don't like to hear about." 1/27 #54 |
![]() One ornately dressed figure stepped gingerly out of the carrier followed by a broad figured covered entirely in dull armor. They began walking towards her and Sheena stilled. She raised herself up on her toes and whispered quickly to Leon, "Go out and find a kotatsu. Expensive, cheap, whatever. Just find one." Leon didn't think twice, just dropped the bags he was carrying and sprinted down the street to any furniture store he could find. He was running way faster than he ever had in the past since moving here. Sheena turned back to the two approaching figures (now close enough to know that the ornately dressed one was a woman and the one in armor was a man). She stood up straighter and squared her shoulders, trying to call back everything she had learned while living with her father. As the two were mere feet away, she lifted her chin. The man and woman collapsed to their knees, pressing their foreheads against the grass before her. "My lady," they said at the same time. Sheena nodded then quickly said, "Stand up," biting her tongue to stop the 'please' right after that had become a force of habit. The two raised their heads but didn't stand and Sheena's heart pulsed with recognition. "Xilla?" she breathed. When the woman below smiled, Sheena fell to her own knees and wrapped her arms tightly around the woman's neck. "Oh my god, I've missed you so much!" Xilla's arms wrapped around Sheena's back and her hands moved up in down in soothing paths. "I've missed you too, my lady. The halls of court are less beautiful and the stoic faces of your brothers are more irritating. And my parties are quite the novelty they used to be." Sheena pulled back and scrubbed at her eyes, trying hard to keep the tears at bay. "I'm sorry, if I'd realized it was you sooner I wouldn't have asked Leon to go buy a kotatsu." Xilla's brow furrowed. "You don't have a kotatsu? My lady, how have you been eating? Don't tell me you've been eating off the floor?" Sheena giggled and shook her head. She stood. "Things are different here, Xilla. Shall we go inside?" Xilla stood and her guard followed suit. Her expression was grave. "As much as I'd like to converse with you, my lady, I'm afraid that I've come as the bringer of bad news." Sheena's expression faltered and then darkened. "What is it?" Xilla snapped her fan open and started fanning her face. "Please, my lady, I don't wish to speak anymore out here in the open. Show us to your receiving room and we shall wait for Leon to return. He should hear this too." Sheena's lips thinned into a line and she stalked passed Xilla and her guard, the two quickly turning in the process so as not to show their back to their princess. And after Sheena had walked ahead a few steps, the two followed. 1/27 #55 |
![]() Karin sank down onto the edge of the hearth. She laced her hands together in front of her, feeling the heat of the fire as it warmed her back. "Go on," she said, quietly. Narkov's eyes darted back down to his hand, and he watched the pentagram as he flexed his fingers back and forth. "Serah, Tonikah, and Illia have already been called. It's only a matter of time before the rest of us join them," he said. Karin pinched the bridge of her nose between her thumb and forefinger. "Which, of course, means that we have to be in their company," she muttered. "Not we, just you." "Illia hates you, Narkov." The boy snorted once. "Illia hates everybody. She's the most self-righteous witch in existence." Karin sighed again and rubbed her throbbing head. The pain had intensified since Narkov had appeared in her house. "How long do we have?" she asked. Narkov shrugged and drummed his fingertips on his knee. "Probably no more than a few days. You know how Lord Jace likes to get things done," he replied simply. Karin shook her head. "I'm nowhere near strong enough for this," she muttered. "You haven't been eating." The girl glanced up at him. Narkov shrugged. "Don't act so surprised. It's not like I don't keep tabs on you." Karin sighed softly. "Of course," she muttered. "I would make the mistake of befriending the greatest scryer in history." "Damn straight." 1/27 #56 |
![]() The three were sitting around the living room; Sheena on the couch, one leg hooked over the other and Xilla and her guard sitting on the floor. Sheena crossed her arms over her chest and sunk lower into the couch, her brow furrowing in the process. After entering the house, Xilla and her guard couldn't hide their expressions of confusion and curiosity at the foreign architecture and strange furnishings. As Sheena had continued into the living room, Xilla and her guard spent took their time looking at the pictures in the foyer. Many of them were all pictures taken of her, Leon, and their friends, a few were of Riven, and on the table to the side stood a large, lone picture, painted in fading colored inks, of her father. Before it was an empty incense holder. Upon seeing this picture, the two demons stopped and bowed their heads, hands clasping together in prayer. And then they were in the living room, which Sheena explained was essentially the receiving room. She'd moved the coffee table and then sat down on the couch, not offering Xilla and her guard a chair, knowing full well that they wouldn't accept it. Minutes ticked by slowly, neither of the three speaking, until they heard the door open and then footsteps down the short hallway that led from the foyer to the living room. Leon stood there, holding a large bag and out of breath. "Xilla!" he said, dropping the bag. He bent 45 degrees at the waist and said, "It's good to see you, my lady." Xilla stood and walked towards Leon, arms outstretched. "Oh, Leon! I've missed your face too!" She pulled him down into a hug. They separated and Leon nodded at her guard. "Rigar," he said. Rigar bowed his head. "Captain," A muscle in Leon's cheek jumped at the title but he said nothing of it. Instead he moved to the center of the room and pulled out the package he bought. Minutes later, and with help from Rigar, a good sized kotatsu was set up. Sheena moved to the cushion at the head of the table and Leon disappeared into the kitchen. Xilla and Rigar settled themselves on the cushions opposite Sheena. "So?" Sheena said, inclining her head towards Xilla and Rigar. "What's the problem?" "Well," Xilla said, staring off slowly. "For one thing, you are engaged." Sheena rolled her eyes, part of her expecting something like that. But it didn't matter much to her. Engaged wasn't married. She could do something about that. "Next?" Xilla started fiddling with her fan. "My lady, there has been some trouble back at the palace. It seems that in the shadows of court there are rumors of a plan to usurp the throne." Sheena took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Of course there were. ((Okay, I think I'd like to take this opportunity and ask just what the whole issue is here. So far we've got that Jace is a Scar-like advisor and is going to use your witchy-witches in some way, yes? Another idea that I've been working on is this prince from another kingdom that wants to take full control of Sheena's and by marrying her and establishing some form of control in the court he could take the throne right from under her brother. Maybe...Jace could be pulling the strings behind that but is simply using the prince for his own purposes? What's going on with that? I think once we establish that, we can actually get this thing into gear.)) 1/28 #57 |
![]() Narkov hopped off the table and crossed the room to Karin's side. He sat down next to her and rested a hand on her shoulder. Karin hissed in pain as one of the markings on her forehead blazed with pain. Blood trickled in a thin line down her temple from the area. "We should get something on that. Do you have Witchwood?" Karin nodded her head miserably. She pointed to a cupboard near the pallet that served as her bed. Narkov obediently went to it and opened it, then browsed the various jars and containers until he found what he was looking for. He popped a few of the flower buds into his mouth and chewed for a while, then spat them back onto his fingertips. He brushed back Karin's hair and smeared the poultice over the bleeding Krakish symbol that represented the color blue. Karin relaxed visibly as the narcotic took effect, soothing the throbbing under her skin. It didn't, however, do anything to relieve the intense pressure in her head. "I'm going to go collect something for supper, and you're going to eat it. I don't want you dying in the event that we have to go to another realm. You'll never survive the warp in that state," Narkov sighed. He stood and pulled his coat tight about him. "It's a miracle you've survived this much of the damn winter," he added under his breath. He opened the door to a blast of icy air and stepped outside into the slushy marshes outside, drawing his coat around him to keep out the frozen rain that blew into his face. Karin frowned as she watched him go, but she couldn't exactly complain that he was leaving. The pressure in her aching head slowly decreased the farther away Narkov got. She stood with a sigh and ladled a bit of her boiling water into a tea kettle, then settled in to wait for the boy to return. ((Hmm.. Well, whatever you want to do. Jace doesn't have an exceptional amount of interest in the Demon Kingdom since they're pretty stable and well-stablished. Well.. when their kings aren't dying left and right. To be honest he'd be more willing to work with Sheena and her side, since he hates conniving scoundrels. Hmm.. Does the Kingdom have anything in it that would interest someone like Jace? He coooould be trying to take it over. Moohaha! But that would make him exceptionally busy. Hmm... Well, if this prince had something to offer him (lots of blood, magical objects, a collection of souls, really good scotch, etc.) that he couldn't get himself then he could definitely be bought out. Ahhh drama.)) 1/28 #58 |
![]() ((I'm going to refrain from posting until we've got a pretty good idea of what exactly is going on. After all, Xilla is sort of explaining the kingdom's situation to Sheena and if i don't know what that is......I think that the only thing that would interest Jace would be the control over the demons. Essentially they follow whoever is the strongest, even if they don't like them. Which is why after the previous king died there were rebellions because there were others who wanted the throne. And as for the prince, well, he's essentially an idiot. He has absolutely nothing to offer Jace at all. All that the prince wants is to control the kingdom because his own kingdom is poor and on the verge of collapse (but he doesn't tell anyone that....). So I guess I can't see Jace supporting him at all in that sense. But if he were trying to take over the kingdom, he could use the prince as a puppet to hide behind so that the prince does all the dirty work and he can swoop in at the last second, winning and looking pretty.)) 1/28 #59 |
![]() ((Mmkie dokie. I mean, Jace isn't actually the type to take over things; he's already got a realm of dark creepy things that he's the ruler of, so having another one wouldn't really appeal to him. OMG I JUST HAD THE MOST BRILLIANT IDEA TYPING THIS OUT. So so so. So like. Not that he's a posessive creeper or anything, but having control over a beautiful demon princess would give Jace quite the edge in the multiple demonic realms. So, even if the prince doesn't succeed, it would definitely give him motivation to help out said prince if, say, they made an arrangement that once the kingdom was under the prince's control, Sheena would be given over to Jace for whatever kind of evil world-destroying plots he could concoct. :D Is that a little closer to what you're thinking? )) 1/28 #60 |
