i think hellboy 3 would be great

hellboy 1 was the best i just like it more then the Golden army for some reason.

I definitely agree with you that Hellboy 1 was the best movie. But The Golden Army left more space for the characters to blossom, since we were all already comfortable with them from the first moive. Anyway, I think they left off at a good place to keep up wondering but still end well. But I think we all are probably wishing for HB3, and I would be fascinated to see what they would do with the plot now that all our main characters have left the bureau. What do you think would happen?

I heard there will be a third, and there will be a return of Kroenen, which makes me happy (too bad they made him a stupid assassin with no personality). Sadly, I can't say much more.

I don't like the idea of Hellboy as a father of twins. I think something should happen to Liz (miscarriage or something), because children are spoiling everything (just look at Shrek 3!). She blames Hellboy, and he is too sad to argue with her. So he returns to BPRD, because he has nowhere else to go, and learns about return of Rasputin and Kroenen...

that is an even better idea!

Kroenen is one of the best film characters and makes me want to read the comics.

I think the ending of Hellboy 2 was just BS. I really didn't care for it...even the story. Even the creator of HB really didn't see the relationship between Hellboy and Liz coming. He says so in the interview of first movie. The movie is kind of like Del Tor's version but he doesn't change it completely. With Abe, Hellboy, and Liz leaving the BPRD? Yeah right. They would be too dedicated to what they're doing. Saving the world and people from evil and monsters. (insert heroic stance here)

Ooh! Check out the comic! I took a peek at it from amazon.com. He's completely different. He's not a stupid, mute, sword-weilding character protrayed in the movie. He's a patient, meek, scientist. I doubt he wears his mask because he looks the same as the movie. I bet he looks perfectly normal. You can take a peek like I did. Look at the huge difference!

Um, hate to be ruining the surprise for some, (and really exciting others) but there WILL be a third movie. Kroenen is returning, I dunno about the twins, and Hellboy's going to have to go up against a crazed archangel.

i totally agree that Kroenen needs to come back as a scientist. But unless Rasputin comes back it would be difficult to integrate him with the plot.

I hope there will be a third one cuz i mean hey,... kids!!! But i believe the reason a lot of pple like the 1st one better is becuz the twins died in the end knowing that in my opinion made the movie especially prince nuada lol :) tehee :3

Perhaps an Egyptian scenario. Ramses could make a formidable villain. Of course, Brendan Frasier has slew a fair share of mummies for the audience. This may sound weird but what about Napoleon? Several people have claimed him to have been a butcher.
