Christmas is coming! Did you not know that?

OK, so I want you to go out and find ten of theworstfanfics you can possibly find. The first ten entered will be the ones chosen. Now, here are ones that will not be considered:

- AIM/Chat/MSN fics

- One line fics

- Question Answer Fics

- Fics that contain real people

- Basically anything that cannot be reviewed in detail

All these simply because most of you would pick them for the fact they break the rules, not because of their diabolical quality (well, excluding IM fics).

Now, one fic submission per person...unless we are lacking in numbers. Then I will ask a few of you to double submit...but for now, one fic each.

'But why?' I hear you wonder. Well, on Christmas day, after being visited by the Ghost of Christmas Food, the Ghost of Christmas Presents, and the Ghost of Christmas Alcohol, I shall be in a rather good mood. So, for one day, I am going to be completely nice toeveryone. Yes, this even includes shit!fic writers.

So, the stories that are posted will not be flamed; they shall be concritted.

Nicely.

And, I will not be allowed to be mean or nasty to anyone.

This will be difficult, especially if people take advantage of it, but, well, I'm sure someone will get a good laugh out of it. Probably.

But putting that aside...some very "shitty" fics? That you will criticize instead of flaming? And that each of us should submit up to a maximum, and minimum, of 1 "shitty" fic that we deem as "shitty" in our eyes? On Christmas day? This year?

As for your challenge, I can see what you mean. Unfortunately, I can't control the reactions of others, as far as con critting goes. It won't be harsh, but it'll be as helpful as I can make it. Whether the hate it or not is beyond my influence.

Chris... What difference does it make who is in the union and who isn't? I understand why this is important to George and Dictionary, but why to you? 'I wouldn't be the only one clueless' doesn't seem like good enough of an explanation. :/ It wouldn't give me anything extra... The email list where the weekly AKS is sent just shows me that there are quite a few of us... That's all I need to know. So, why the whole list?

There are several reasons for a full list not being released. Firstly, due to the less than pleasant experiences of the FU (before I joined) concerning certain members, it would not be wise to give a full list of everyone, or indeed, our numbers.

Secondly, having an unknown amount of numbers is part of the fun. Despite the perhaps butthurt appearance (and maybe it was) of the epic Rick Roll stunt, the fact that we had so many people join in with it is why it was effective. No one knows -- besides Stori and myself -- how many people we have, so when shit gets stirred up, the sheer number of people suddenly appearing and siding with us is usually enough to make most back off. Of course, this is less than noble, and will probably bite us in the ass one day, but it is fucking hilarious all the same.

Finally, the most important reason: some of the members don't want to be named. Privacy is their right, and we wish to respect it. Sure, they give us an email, but that doesn't make it their main. Even Stori and I use side emails concerning Union business.

So, yes, once again I'm getting into 'Teh Intrawebz are Srs Bsnss!' But to be honest, I prefer to treat it as srs bsnss than have everything crash down around me.
