Topic: The Eight Doctors by Terrence Dicks
I read the Eight Doctors a couple of months back after I had it recommended by a friend. I wanted to carry on reading the eighth Doctor series of books in order but I can't seem to find the next one... any who. I think that this was quite well written actually with lots of nice story twists, continuity refferences as well as fitting it in perfectly with the rest of the continuity. 1 Doctor meets his 7 other incarnations, a brilliant novel and I'm glad they continued on so we get to know the eighth Doctor more!

Eighth Doctor stories can be good, especially since they don't have a budget, so the monsters can be a lot scarier! I suggest Interference, Parts One and Two, but mostly Part One. It has the Eighth Doctor and the Third Doctor, plus Sarah Jane! I won't give anything away, but it did scare me half to death. And it marks the dparture of Sam, and the arrival of Compassion. I haven't read Vampire Science, which I believe comes after the Eight Doctors (I have read that one) but I've been looking for it. But I haven't read them in order, and I still understand. It's just that the Eighth Doctor has so many different companions that he drops off and picks up alternatively, it doesn't get you as confused to read them out of order as it would be to watch all the Classic Doctor Who stories in random order. Oh, and if you can't seem to find time to read Interference (It's two books), I highly suggest Year of the Intelligent Tigers. I loved that to no end. I just really like the character that is Fitz.

Yeah, I've had those books recommended before. I'm gonna track them down. I've heard of Fitz but that's it... I've looked him and included him in a fan fic but don't kill me if I've done him wrong.

I'm having the hardest time finding the eight doctors or any 1-8 Doctor books. I have heard mixed reviews.

Can anyone help me?
