![]() Nikita smirked, leaning against a wooden post. "Or what, Captain Charisma? Don't tell me you took it personally... oh, you took it personally, didn't you? That's a shame... You should know the lengths people go to to survive out here" 4/10/2012 #1,561 |
![]() "Aw, likewise, Johnny," Rosetta said. "With some of that clown-white make-up and one of those frilly, flower bonnets. You'll be so adorable!" 4/10/2012 #1,562 |
![]() Christian scoffed. "Yeah? Well when some crazy whore seduces you and threatens to shoot you before robbing you of every cent you have, come talk to me. Besides, if you're so good at this, how come you haven't left this town? I know you've pulled the same scam with other men before, no?" 4/10/2012 #1,563 |
![]() John snorted, before shaking his head. "If you guys feel uncomfortable, just remember, we'll only need to wear this gear for one party" Trent told them. "Now, let's split up" (Hmm... Sas, Vespy, you two up for a little intereaction with each other?) _ Nikita smiled. "You dare try to be the moral authority on me, boy?" She said, standing up, and slowly walking towards him. "You, who willing paid money to run your dirty, wretched hands over my skin? You, who was thinking of nothing but getting off over an easy girl? How much did you think just about what you were doing? It's okay for you to do that, because I'm a woman, isn't that right? You take advantage of me, of people like me, and you don't look back, you don't even think of it as a break in your schedual, just a fun way to pass the time, surrendering yourself to somebody else just to whittle away the hours... and yet, when a girl takes advantage of you, snatches back what little shred of dignity they have because of what people like you do, they're to be condemned, ratted out of town like prayers in a ghost town, all because they turned the board around showed you what it's like to be on the losing side of the game" She shook her head. "Don't you dare try and make yourself the victim, or I'll shoot you down where you stand" She told him, softly, but with dark firmness. (...slightly Girl With The Dragon Tattoo :P) 4/11/2012 #1,564 |
![]() Christian's face hardened. "Don't you dare compare me to the filth that run on this earth, Nikita. You don't know anything about me, aside from our little encounter, so what right do you have to judge me? You think I do that everywhere I go? Do you think I'm like the many others that were with you before me? How do you know? What damn idea can you come up with that makes me like them? Yeah, I look the part, but as you might have heard, looks can be deceiving. I am sorry for whatever negative emotions I brought you, but that doesn't give you the right to assult me and leave with my hard earned money. You want to take back your dignity? Stop making half-assed assumptions about people and look at both sides of the coin." Capitan Charisma locked eyes with her, determined to get his point across. 4/11/2012 . Edited 4/11/2012 #1,565 |
![]() "You wanted to take advantage of a girl, Captain" Nikita told him. "No matter how you swing it, that's the barest and most basic fact of the matter... and it says enough" 4/11/2012 #1,566 |
![]() "Take advantage? As I recall, you ALLOWED me to, Nikita. I told you that if I was going too far, to tell me to stop. You didn't. And since you have such a problem with it, why didn't you try talking to me, instead of holding me hostage?" Christian's eyes seemed to soften. Had he jumped to conclusions with her? 4/11/2012 #1,567 |
![]() Nikita smirked. "It's a choice you should make for yourself, I shouldn't have to tell you what's too far... You suffered the same fate as every other guy that thought things were so easy. I honestly don't give a rats if you hate me for it, but you can only blame yourself" 4/11/2012 #1,568 |
![]() (haha my shy little thing and Sas's outspoken rough and tumble, this'll be fun :P) Jane blinked in shock, "Split up?" she asked, looking at Trent. 4/11/2012 #1,569 |
![]() Christian crossed his arms."You should know I have the upmost respect for women, Nikita. I asked you because I didn't want to be the aggresor. I could have just had my time and left, but no. I just had to stay. What is it you want with me now, Nikita? I have nothing for you. Is it possible that you missed me?" A smirk found it's way onto his face. 4/11/2012 #1,570 |
![]() "Miss you? Oh darling, I woud never miss you" She teased him with a chuckle. "No, I just happened to be around" 4/11/2012 #1,571 |
![]() Christian smirked. "And you just happened to run into me? How convenient." 4/11/2012 #1,572 |
![]() "It's a small town, Christian" Nikitia pointed out with a smirk. "It's coincidence, not conveiniance" 4/12/2012 #1,573 |
![]() (Oh yeah, that does sound fun! xD Don't worry Vespy! I'll try and make Rose a little gentle. :P) "Where are we going?" Rosetta asked at the sheriff's words, dusting some dust off the brim of her hat. 4/12/2012 #1,574 |
![]() (um...not exactly sure where anyone/everyone is at the moment so I'll just post going 'into town' :) Alec rode into town, hat tilted low over his eyes as he pulled up to a stable. After taking care of his horse, he walked around a little and looked around himself. He'd followed a ghost all the way from his home into town and was now having a little trouble catching up with it. Hannah was still in the stable, playing with the horsie. ..... (and one more thing, is it night or day, or does it matter?) Carol yawned and stretched slightly as she walked towards the smaller room she rented to change. In the meantime, she was in a thinner white dress with pain streaks all over it, her hair tied up on top of her head in a messy bun with a few golden curls falling out and around her face. She had a streak of blue paint across one cheek, the same shade as her eyes. She was toting a bag full of paints and sketchpads and such, and a canvas in a different arm as she walked across the street. 4/12/2012 #1,575 |
![]() (I'm almost positive it's daytime...That's the first time I've been positive about a time of day in an RP in a while. xD) Still flustered after the whole "incident" with that kid in the bar, Incendia decided she couldn't afford to leave this town right after she entered it. When her head cleared a little, she found herself a livery to hitch her horse at. As she was entering, she passed a man going out, his hat worn low over his face. She thought nothing of it as she dismounted her silver-grey colt again and led him to the nearest water-trough. 4/12/2012 #1,576 |
![]() Alec looked back at the girl he passed for a moment, tipping his hat as he passed. His face was shaded by the hat, but he still looked around himself for the ghost. His necklace was cold as ever, meaning there wasn't one close by, and he got even more frustrated. Hannah, for her part, was done with the horsie in the stable and now walked outside. She saw the pretty silver-colored horsie and grinned, walking up to it. She jumped up on the water-trough and looked at it. She was in ghost form for the moment, invisible from humans other than necromancers and the like, but the horse would either be able to see her or smell her. .... Carol paused in the middle of the road, her covered canvas having fallen down as well as a few drawing implements. Grumbling to herself slightly, she bent over to try and pick some of them up. She was pretty much vulnerable to any passing carriages, wagons, and/or horses in this new position as she bent over, not paying any attention to anything around her. 4/12/2012 #1,577 |
![]() Incendia removed the saddle from her horse then, turned away to sort through her various effects. While her back was turned, the steed's ears flicked forward at the unseen little girl in front of him, curiously. He stretched his muzzle towards her face and breathed a tentative huff of welcome at her. 4/12/2012 #1,578 |
![]() Hannah giggled, drawing Alec's attention. The tall young man walked over and put his hands in his pockets. "Hannah, it's not nice to play tricks like that." he said as he watched her reach over to pet the horse's muzzle. "But I wasn't playing tricks, honest! I was just sayin' hello!" "I know, sunshine, but if the horse started saying hi back, then this woman here might not take too kindly to it." To the girl, it would appear like he was talking to thin air, or perhaps even to himself, but he seemed perfectly comfortable and relaxed. (well...she might be able to see Hannah...is she human, or non?) 4/12/2012 #1,579 |
![]() (She is a vampire that was a sorceress before she was turned so, yeah, she might be able to sense her a little bit. I don't know if she could see her...) Being so engulfed in her frustration about the "incident" Incendia didn't notice much of what was going around her until the last minute. She was just done collecting some of her weapons from her saddle-pads when she heard the one-sided conversation going on behind her. Her brows furrowed suddenly as she listened though, picking up a familiar sensation in the atmosphere, one she remembered from long-forgotten human days but, one she still couldn't quite place. She stood up and faced the man near her horse and glanced at the horse's head where it appeared to be sniffing at something but...there was nothing she could see there. Faintly though - very faintly - she thought she saw the outline of something. She quickly shook it off and shut her eyes, trying to get rational again. "You...alright there...sir?" she asked - not sure why she did when she didn't care much about anyone other than herself. 4/12/2012 #1,580 |
![]() (I'll leave that up to you, she can see Hannah if she wants, or she doesn't have to :) Alec glanced over at her, although most of his face was still hidden by the brim of the hat and the shadows it caused. "Yes'm, I am." he said, a hint of a smirk being able to be seen. He used to get offended when people talked to him like that, then he felt hurt, and after a while he'd just given up caring. Now he found it kinda funny when people thought he was crazy or talking to himself. He turned back over to Hannah who was giggling as the horse's sniffing of her. He walked over and picked her up, setting her up on his shoulder as she giggled loudly, the sound actually being able to be heard faintly by someone with good hearing, even if they weren't a necro such as himself. "Sorry to be such a bother." he said with a tip of his hat to Incendia, one arm wrapped around...what appeared to be air over his shoulder. It may seem rather bizarre, if the little girl couldn't be seen. 4/12/2012 #1,581 |
![]() "So, what do you want? You already took my money. You never call, you never write... It's like I'm the only one interested in making this relationship work!" Christian crossed his arms over his chest. 4/12/2012 #1,582 |
![]() "You and Jane can look for some nice dresses for yourself, me and John will look for suits" Trent told them. _ Nikita cracked a smile, and started chuckling. "Well, you're amusing, so I suppose that's a redeeming feature, darling" 4/12/2012 #1,583 |
![]() (Just so you guys know, I have a blonde artist/saloon dancer girl free for whoever wants to snatch her up! She's currently in the middle of the road trying to pick up her art supplies that fell all over the place :P :D) 4/12/2012 #1,584 |
![]() (It might be difficult but, I think she might be able to do it. ;D) Incendia stared, trying to hide the dumbfounded expression on her face as she watched the strange man's movements. However...no, it wasn't really fair to call them strange because she knew that he wasn't acting as a crazy person and talking to someone that wasn't there. She couldn't see anything - not human anyway - that he could be talking to but, she just knew there was something there. The horse knew it too. And she could faintly hear a little girl's laughter. And she knew that she wasn't crazy. She glanced at the man's shoulder, then back at the man, then back at the man's shoulder, then back at the man. It was clear in her expression what she was asking and she wasn't about to ask it in words. --- Rosetta groaned, loudly, at the idea of wearing a dress again but, knew she really had no choice in the matter. She had to undertake this mission with these strangers if she was going to be free of her former charges. She turned to the other woman, Jane, and raised a brow as she looked her over, not really sure what to say. 4/12/2012 #1,585 |
![]() Alec gave her the same funny look. "And what are you staring at? Uh-oh, think the heat might be getting to your head." he said, raising his eyebrows with a tough-luck sort of expression. "Can I show her, Alec? You're being mean." Hannah said, thumping his ear. Alec flinched and shook his head from the thump. "Ow, geez, alright." he looked over to the woman in front of him. "Sorry, I was just making fun, I meant no harm." he said before shrugging, causing Hannah to giggle again. "You can show her, if you want." he said, glancing up at Hannah again. 4/12/2012 #1,586 |
![]() Serious, no-nonsense, full-throttle fighter Incendia, didn't find his "teasing" to be very amusing and as he talked, she gave him an icy glare. She'd dealt with enough jerks in this town already today. She wasn't about to deal with another. Still, the only thing keeping her from a) holding a gun to his head and stealing his money or b) kicking him in the jewels and walking off with her dignity in tact, was that itching feeling in the back of her skull that there was something there. 4/12/2012 #1,587 |
![]() Alec sighed. "Alright." he said as he looked up at the little girl on his shoulder. She popped into view then, although to Incendia she'd probably be a little see-through, still transparent. She was cute as a button and tiny for her age as she swung her red ladybug boots from her perch on Alec's shoulder. She gave a sweet smile and a wave. "Hi! I'm Hannah!" 4/12/2012 #1,588 |
![]() Incendia's face remained, for the most part, impassive, as the air around the man's shoulder seemed to shimmer and then, a little, transparent girl appeared on his shoulder - sure enough - where it had seemed he was holding air. The vampire blinked once and some invisible tension seemed to leave her shoulders. She was relieved that she wasn't going crazy and - one some other level - revealed that this man wasn't crazy either. "Hi," she replied to the girl, softly. 4/12/2012 #1,589 |
![]() Hannah squirmed a little bit to get down, and Alec lifted her up and set her on the ground gently. It was clear he cared for her a lot in the softness of his smile. Hannah walked over and smiled. "What's your name?" she asked with a sugary sweet smile, completely sincere. Her bright blue eyes sparkled as she looked up at the woman. Alec straightened to his full height again and tipped back his hat a bit, revealing a rather handsome face. He was young by all appearances, appearing to be in his early twenties, but his eyes were that of an old man who'd seen far too much. Ancient almost, and disturbingly dark and intense, as if he were looking straight into Incendia's soul as he watched her to make sure she wouldn't be mean to Hannah or something. 4/12/2012 #1,590 |
