Jacob blinked, looking slightly confused but then he shrugged.

The watery form nodded slightly.

"Is that because you are made of water?"

"Is what because I am made of water?"

"The reason you and your kin do not scar." Jacob said simply.

"I think so..." Jade said, "I never thought to ask."

Jacob nodded, "This is fair enough."

Jade nodded slightly.

Jacob went back to watching.

Jade bobbed quietly in the water, trained to not speak unless she was spoken to.

Olivia came swimming by again, smiling at the two. "Why are you two being so quiet?" she asked, and Jacob shrugged in response.

Jade shrugged slightly also.

Olivia shrugged as well, swimming in a circle around them for a moment before settling on her stomach on the sand at the bottom, chin propped up by her hands as her pearl-encrusted hair floated all around her.

Jade smiled slightly, her watery hair floating around her head.

Jacob continued to keep guard as Olivia looked up at Jane for a second.

Jade looked down at Olivia.

Olivia smiled up at her.

Jade gave a sweet smile back.

Olivia grinned and rolled over onto her back, stretching with a soft sigh, even her fine curling up as she did, like toes would.

Jade smiled slightly.

The dolphins were all clicking to each other and spinning around in circles, trying to entice Olivia to join them again but she shook her head, laid out on her back as the sun filtered down through the water onto her skin. "Just let me relax for a moment."

(Just for future notice, when you picture Jacob, picture a beautiful, shirtless Chris Hemsworth in the movie 'Thor'. Probably because I was staring at a picture of him while composing my character 3 )

Jade sat quietly, her watery locks floating behind her.

Jacob watched, entranced by her hair for a moment.

Jade glanced over at him, conscious of his eyes on her.

When he realized Jade was looking at him, he turned his gaze to her eyes for a moment.

"My apologies, but I was rather captivated by your hair."

Jade's cheeks grew warm again, although, again, it couldn't be seen. "Oh..."

"You are made from the water...is that why it flows?"

Jade nodded.

Jacob nodded, looking elsewhere.

Jade fell quite again.
