Astro: What is he doing?

Jett: Staring...it's very strange.

Astro: Should we go get him or leave him be?

Jett: Leave him. He seems to be deep in thought.

Astro: Very well.

Jett: Let us pack. The first destination is the Mackenzie home.

Astro: Sounds good.

Jett: I wonder if Sir Ethan is managing our home well?

Astro: Perhaps...You will just have to trust him.

Rietta: *enters the house again, this time with a crazy grin on her face*

Astro: I assume everything has gone well?

Rietta: Extraordinarily so.

Astro: I see...Well, you are not in a bad mood like usual, so that's good.

Jett: Is she usually in a bad mood? That surprises me.

Astro: Yes, she is. I think her good mood has something to do with getting away from our hometown and being able to see her friends from the academy again.

Rietta: I am right here, you know.

Jett: *sarcastically* Indeed you are. Anyway, your Alakazam is quite insightful.

Rietta: Aren't all Alakazam?

Astro: *nods* It is in our nature.

Jett: How did you come across him?

Rietta: He stole my father's hat a month or two before I started attending the academy. My Misdreavus and I decided to attempt to track him down and well...We found him up in a tree. A wild Pineco scared him and he fell off...*sighs*

Astro: Ah, I remember that. *chuckles* I was just a wee little Abra back then.

Jett: Well, he is definitely a charming fellow. *smiles*

Rietta: That he is. *laughs* My mother took care of him while he healed and in that time, I grew fond of him. He never actually returned to the wild, instead following me around all day and even offering to help me with my chores and errands. Eventually, I just started calling him mine.

Jett: Ah...So, tell me more about your hometown? I have only been there on a few occasions.

Rietta: I hate it there...People were only nice to me because I'm Lord Mackenzie's daughter. I...do not particularly care, but it does get on my nerves at times. Not to mention, the men make fools of themselves just to impress me, hoping that one day, I'll marry one of them. *scoffs*

Astro: She has rejected every single man who has ever proposed.

Rietta: But...it is a beautiful town. Not the safest, especially at night, but it's home.

Jett: Well, men can be rather childish, I can attest to that. *lets out a laugh* But I am sure that the town will be a lovely place to explore.

Rietta: Of course. I can show you around when we get there if you wish. *smiles*

Jett: That would be nice.

*Logan approaches*

Logan: Come, we must be going. Now...

Jett: Is something the matter?

Logan: We need to depart...

Rietta: I assume that's a yes...Very well. Ariadne!

Ariadne: *pads over to her without a sound*

Astro: Let us go then. You can explain on the way.

Logan: Henrietta, do you have directions?

Rietta: Just follow Astro. He's memorized the way.

Logan: Very well. Lead us.

Astro: *leads the way* We could take the straight path through the woods, but that would take a lot more time. The trail I will lead you through cuts the time by several hours. Myself and Lady Henrietta have travelled through it many times and it has been relatively safe up until recently. I overheard a few guards talking about highwaymen camping there, so you best be on guard.

Astro: I imagine not.

Rietta: So, would you care to explain the hurry, Sir Logan?
