Topic: Humanity lost!
Just how much of a pig is Ryouga? I'm just curious as to what you have to say. Myself I like to think that the piggybrain has an effect on Ryouga's behaviour when in cursed form. Do remember I said 'like to think'!

I remember reading a fanfic that equated Ryoga's behaviour towards Akane as that of a devoted pet even when he was in human form and it did make a fair bit of sense. The way he attacks Ranma for looking at other girls (though honestly I've read so much fanfiction I can't even remember if that really happened these days) wouldn't make sense from the perspective of someone who wants Akane for himself - Ranma going after another girl and leaving Akane alone would leave the field open for Ryoga!

Ok, that's a perfectly reasonable thing to say. I have no idea what fic you're talking about, after all.

The way he attacks Ranma for looking at other girls (though honestly I've read so much fanfiction I can't even remember if that really happened these days) wouldn't make sense from the perspective of someone who wants Akane for himself - Ranma going after another girl and leaving Akane alone would leave the field open for Ryoga!

...But you clarify by using one of the main points of proof for the concept of Ryoga being a pet....

That is confusing. The fact that Ryoga attacks Ranma over his womanizing is /evidence/ towards him having a pet-like behavior. If he was just interested in Akane as a girlfriend, he'd be happy that Ranma was moving on to other women since that would leave Akane open to him.

But he doesn't do that. He attacks Ranma because his actions make Akane sad. That is more of a devoted/loyal pet behavior than the behavior of a boy after her heart.

Its cool how much better you have become at pointing out the incongruencies of other peoples point and all... Yet I do hope that you would be willing to tone it done a bit if only in this forum as to maintain a proper decorum. This is a forum as of now filled with less so than in the other forums filled with people of lesser ambition when it comes to arguing and such.

I would be tremendously plesed if you would use your talent for communicating your thoughts onto written form in a more uplifting way. Meaning, try and help out.

Why? Because you can and also because you would be the best at it in this forum!

Anyway do as you wish...

I think I misread the second post in the first place. Now that I read it again I see it makes perfect sense. I must not have been looking close enough the last time.
