Dr. JNHardyTopic: The REAL meaning of WWE? I read in this months issue of PWI (or last months, I forget) that WWE stood for Worst Writing Ever. I must say that I admit that's true. The WWE started falling apart a little after the year 2002. With Steph's little lie, the return of the nWo, the sickening billion dollar booty contest, a ** punk (a.k.a Stone Cold Steve Austin), splitting up the tag teams, Katie Vick, HLA, Undertaker's affair, and the disgusting Triple H enema. Just to name a few. To see more about them and their descriptions, go to http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/oww/hallofshame/wwe2002.html and see the rest of the years following while you're at it.| #1 Feb 02nd 2006, 12:24pm

BubblyShell22Yeah I think now we can say it stands for Worst Writing Ever. Especially since we've heard all this talk about exploiting Eddie's death and Rey possibly losing his title shot that he earned. What is wrong with these people? Oh, and don't forget the return of Mark Henry. That's just wrong.| #2 Feb 02nd 2006, 12:26pm

Dr. JNHardyoh my gosh... I can't wait until I get old enough to join the creative team... I will definately whip their asses into shape!| #3 Feb 02nd 2006, 12:30pm

spincutEdge6272The true spirit of the company is gone. I mean, if WWE is a wrestling show, then why only 30 minutes of wrestling on a 2-hour broadcast? Indeed, worst writing ever. They should have at least 2 matches every week that have no storyline, and just pure wrestling, a la Ring of Honor. Lift all the "banned moves", get rid of the outside distractions, etc. If WWE became more like Ring of Honor, then damn I'd love the company to death. |
BubblyShell22What's Ring of Honor, spincutEdge6272? I've never heard of that. They definitely need to have more matches and some with no storyline. That would be awesome. |
Dr. JNHardyring of honor is a developmental place. Like where signed wrestlers go before they get a gimmick.right? | #6 Feb 06th 2006, 12:15pm
spincutEdge6272actually, the only 2 developmental circuits are Deep South Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling. That's where indy superstars like C.M. Punk, "The Machine" Doug Basham, Mike Mizanin, and Matt Cappotelli wrestle.Ring of Honor is the most respected independent wrestling circuit in the world. It's a stark contrast to WWE in the sense that it showcases wrestling as a sport and not sports-entertainment. Thus, all the moves there are real, and matches are not scripted at all. Maybe if you've heard of Samoa Joe, "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, or AJ Styles, you get an idea of what ROH is like. Yes, ROH is the division which TNA is trying to mimic with their "X-Division". And I'm sorry for going off topic. |
BubblyShell22Yeah, I've heard of Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles. That would be cool to have something like that, but I doubt it. WWE is just too self-absorbed in their own money. They don't care about the fans although they claim they do. |

spincutEdge6272Yeah. Oh well, at least there's always en.wikipedia.org to go to whenever you encounter anything new. Anyway, what were we discussing in this topic?| #15 Feb 09th 2006, 10:46pm
Dr. JNHardyum... how we could easily take the creative team's job and bring some more fans in? Something like that.| #16 Feb 10th 2006, 12:13pm
spincutEdge6272Oh yeah. It's funny to see that almost all wrestling-related boards on fanfiction.net all rant about WWE creative. They deserve it.| #17 Feb 10th 2006, 8:16pm
BubblyShell22Yes, they do. They aren't doing a good job on their storylines. Maybe we fanfiction writers could give thema a run for their money.| #18 Feb 13th 2006, 7:05am
Dr. JNHardyThat's a good idea. We should do that. We do a better job than them anyway.| #19 Feb 13th 2006, 12:28pm . Edited Feb 13th 2006, 12:29pm

Rey Mysterio's GirlAnd at least we don't milk the same damn storyline forever and keep trying to find new ways to keep the thing going. Its like that Randy Orton/Taker thing. If Rey loses the shot then I'm sure Taker will win the belt from Angle. That thing has been going on since before Wrestlemania 21. BOOORRING. Its getting a little old.| #20 Feb 13th 2006, 12:50pm
Dr. JNHardyIt was never really catchy in the first place. Sure Orton's the 'legend killer' and 'Taker's a legend... but we never REALLY believed that Orton would beat 'Taker at WrestleMania! Then it had to on and on and on with Orton whining and whining and whining. It's freaking retarded.| #21 Feb 13th 2006, 1:11pm
Rey Mysterio's GirlAt least Orton has one talent that we've seen, whining.| #22 Feb 13th 2006, 1:29pm

Dr. JNHardy*rolls eyes at the thought of Orton*| #23 Feb 13th 2006, 1:30pm

BubblyShell22Yeah, he really is a good whiner. But like I said before, at least the fan fiction on here is better than the stories on WWE itself. Isn't that sad?| #24 Feb 14th 2006, 8:15am
Dr. JNHardyI can only shake my head at the thought. We've had almost no training and we're doing better than them.| #25 Feb 14th 2006, 12:18pm

Rey Mysterio's GirlA monkey could do better.| #26 Feb 14th 2006, 12:34pm
Dr. JNHardyYeah, they probably could. Wait. What if the team ARE monkeys!| #27 Feb 14th 2006, 12:35pm
BubblyShell22Hey, maybe they are. Also I think Eastman and Laird, the creators of TMNT could do better. Now, they write some pretty good stuff.| #28 Feb 14th 2006, 12:42pm
Dr. JNHardyYou know, in order to become a creative team member, you have to have two years of writing for a tv show that's a drama/comedy under your belt?| #29 Feb 14th 2006, 12:48pm
Rey Mysterio's GirlComedy? Why does that not surprise me.| #30 Feb 14th 2006, 1:11pm

Dr. JNHardyI dunno. Why does it not surprise you?| #31 Feb 14th 2006, 1:13pm

Rey Mysterio's GirlI think its the fact that most of the storylines suck so bad, they're funny. Does that make sence?| #32 Feb 14th 2006, 1:38pm

Dr. JNHardyhellz yeah. 'cept they're not really funny to me...| #33 Feb 14th 2006, 1:40pm . Edited Feb 14th 2006, 1:40pm

BubblyShell22Yeah the storylines do suck. Are you kidding me about having to work on a TV show of comedy or drama to be a creative team member? That explains a lot. Like why the storylines are so cheap and disrespectful.| #34 Feb 15th 2006, 6:56am
Dr. JNHardyAs Kurt Angle used to say, "It's True, It's True" They have this page where you can apply and I saw it.| #35 Feb 15th 2006, 12:16pm
BubblyShell22How dumb. And the sad fact is that the storylines aren't at all in the drama or comedy genre. They're more in the idiotic no talent genre. I'd rather watch Family Guy and House than watch this stuff, as sad as that is to say. And I've been a wrestling fan since 1997.| #36 Feb 16th 2006, 5:20am
Dr. JNHardyYou watch House? That show is awesome. It's my #1 show next to Chappelle's Show right now.| #37 Feb 16th 2006, 12:18pm
BubblyShell22Yes, I do. Don't forget to watch it tonight. I think it's on at eight Eastern time, but I don't know. It might be on at nine Eastern time. That would be eight Central time for me. Check it out. It looks good.| #38 Feb 20th 2006, 6:37am

BubblyShell22I was talking about what time it's on in different time zones. I actually missed it last night. I live in the Central time zone but the shows usually go by Eastern time. Do you get what I'm saying?| #40 Feb 21st 2006, 2:24pm
spincutEdge6272Even more confused, but doesn't really matter since I live in Southeast Asia and don't have Comedy Central. We do have Drawn Together, Family Guy, and Chappelle's Show, though.| #41 Feb 22nd 2006, 1:35am
BubblyShell22Hey, I like Family Guy too. I even have a forum about it here on this site. House is on FOX usually on Tuesdays. But because of American Idol, it got switched to Monday this week. I used to like American Idol, but I've lost my respect for it since they let that crazy guy in who couldn't sing a note. He didn't make it to the final round, but I've refused to watch it. Back on topic: I think that the Midnight Rockers might be coming back. Wouldn't that rock?| #42 Feb 22nd 2006, 5:35am
Dr. JNHardyAwesome... but Vince announced the return of the Kiss My ** Club. Oh God, why can't they leave that behind? I watched Drawn Together once... it was funny, stupid, and I might watch it again sometime. Depending on the previews.| #43 Feb 22nd 2006, 12:41pm

BubblyShell22Yeah I heard about that return too. The horror! The horror! They need to leave that behind. It's nasty.| #44 Feb 23rd 2006, 5:32am

Dr. JNHardyI wasn't a wrestling fanatic at the time, but the rarity of my wrestling friends told me about it... *cringes* the horror.| #45 Feb 23rd 2006, 12:21pm

spincutEdge6272The Kiss My ** club has had its moments. I mean, I watched the one where Regal kissed his ** to retain his job, and the one where Zach Gowen gave him a low blow. Man that was awesome :D| #46 Feb 24th 2006, 5:41am
