That seems to happen in the books I keep reading. They get rid of all the likeable characters, but the ones you'd love to see die horribly seem to have crazy plot armour. :/

I don't like giving characters plot armour. They die if they must. In that way, I take J. Michael Straczynski's mentality in that I build little drop-out spots around all my characters and, if one has to die (or otherwise vanish), well, guess what they're doing?

In fact, in Apotheosis, I axed the reviewers' favourite character. XD

Haha. I have a hard time killing off my characters, although in one of the original fictions I'm working on I've decided that my favourite character (in fact, technically my main character) has to die. I think using plot armour with characters is stupid though. People die in reality, whether or not they're a hero.

Apotheosis was a bit fun for me to write, actually. I just killed slews of characters off, both characters that I like and that I hated.

I agree about the whole plot armour thing. Shit happens, people die.

Haha. I tend to kill people off in fanfiction too. It seems less permanent because you can always "bring them back to life" in another story.

It's kind of nice in that you can axe people that didn't actually die in canon and save people that did. XD

Mmhmm. Or rectify the really stupid deaths in canon, lol.

Yeah. No kidding. There are some characters in certain fandoms that really oughtn't've died and others that I really wish would die in the first few lines of the story.

At the very least it would be nice if the characters that did die were given more proper deaths.

And then, you have me. I put in days or weeks of work for my papers, and my GPA's at a 2.5. Then again, that's because I only actually tried hard in courses related to my major (which totals up to maybe half the courses I've taken in my entire university career).

Hey Wendy. Thought so, just... feeling really confused about things, so I'm going to join the local anglacan church, and I believe in God, but I also believe in the ancient Gods. I don't know if its poss to be Pagan/Christian (from what I gather, no it isn't:( maybe I can hide the fact that I'm Pagan and show my Christian side) but idk. I know I want to go to church, but I still believe in the other Gods/desses. I'm just really confused about everything right now:(

Hey Ariana - (I don't know if we've met...I'm Emily!) - but maybe you could go to some kind of interfaith church? You should believe what you want to believe in and even though it might take some hunting around, I'm sure you can find a church that meets your needs. Good luck!

Hey Emily, nice to meet you! I've thought of going to church and being a Christian and doing my Pagan prayers/worshiping at home. I don't see anything wrong with that, cause that shows my beliefs in he gods/goddesses.
