"What'd you do to get them angry?" Ria asked, her glare temporarily ceasing to be replaced by confusion. It would take something big to make Legendaries upset.

"A little bit of darkness can corrupt any mind," Navogini said, creating a black flame in his hand.

Ria hissed. Bad. That 'darkness', it was bad. Everything told her it was.

Grovyle did as he originally planned: Leaf Bladed him into a wall, shoving his arm/blade into his stomach.

[And now it phases right through him...]

Before Grovyle could make contact, Navogini was behind them, having moved so fast, he was a blur. Grovyle was then coated in the black flames.

"Sonuvamotherfu-" Grovyle managed to get out, using a human cuss.

There were multiple roars in the distance.

"I guess I'll be seeing you... or not," Navogini said, then vanished into darkness.

Aka threw herself against the barrier stopping her from entering a five yard radius of the Burnt Tower. "LET ME IN YOU **ING BASTARD!"

"Enough, Aka, you're just hurting yourself." Ao said gently, pulling her away from it. "Only the Legendaries can get in now."

Ria hissed again, looking for something to put out the flames. Obviously, she found nothing.

They could feel the aura of the three legendary beasts coming closer and closer to them.

"Let them come, I can take them!" Bayleaf said stubbornly, getting into battle position.

"It's no use..." an old man nearby said, on his knees and staring into the sky. "Ho-Oh is dead... the tower is burnt... without the legendary rainbow bird, we're all doomed."

"There has to be something we can do!" Pax Jr. said. "There-AUGH!"

Horrible pain seemed to shoot through his body as he gripped his head, dropping to his knees. The mark was glowing almost as bright as the sun, power radiating from it.

"AUGH!!! BRIGHT!!!" Shouted Pearson.

Ria covered her eyes, wincing from the brightness. Her hands moved from her eyes to her head as it started throbbing.

"Oh **." Aka muttered, plopping onto the ground to try and ease the throbbing in her head.

"Damn it, this isn't good." Ao muttered, in the same helpless state as his sister.

The legendaries reached there, pure rage in their eyes. They jumped at them simultaniously. Pax Jr. faced the sky and gave a horrible cry, one that sounded like a screaming Legendary.

Then, everything except Pax Jr., Ria, Pearson, and their pokemon froze. The legendaries hung in the sky above them.

Then, they began going back. Slowly at first, then quickly. The sun began moving backwards, then the moon was out. Then the sun. It became so fast, it looked like one line across the horizon. After a few moments of this odd thing happening, time slowed down back to normal. Pax Jr. flopped to the ground, panting. The town looked... older for some reason. There were no people in the town, and... wait, the Pokecenter was gone? As was the Pokemart... and the burnt tower... it's wasn't burnt anymore.

"We're back in time." Pearson whispered, falling onto his knees. He fell the rest of the way after a moment, curling up into a ball.

Ria blinked, wondering if her eyes were deceiving her. The throbbing had lessened, and was now just a dull ache that was annoying but not too painful.

"W... what happened?" Bayleaf asked, looking around. "Where are we? WHEN are we?"

"Well Bayleef, before the Burnt Tower was called so and we're back in whatever-the-hell this city is named, I'm really not going to bother remembering right now because of this **ing headache, just back in time." Ria said.

In the sky above, they saw a rainbow colored bird stagger through the sky and land in a heap on the top of the tower.

"Wait a second..." Pax Jr. said, looking up. He seemed to have recovered quicker than normal. "The damaged flight... the town... do you remember the legend of how the tower burnt down?"

"Thunder hit the Tower during a storm, with Suicune, Raikou, and Entei trapped inside and left to die from the resulting fire. They did die, but Ho-Oh brought them back to life." Ria said, one hand on her head.

"Wrong legend... that's the one that tells of Ho-Oh's connection to the beasts," Pax Jr. said. "I was reffering to the one where Ho-Oh perished."

"Well according to what you asked, what I said was right. That was how the tower burned down." Ria snapped, already in a bad mood.

The whole magic powers befitting A **ING LEGENDARY gifted to a mother **ing ten year old JUST SO THEY COULD BE PAWNS IN SOME SON-OF-A-**'S GAME thing was really getting on her nerves, and just got an answer wrong. PLUS HER DAMN HEADACHE THAT CAME OUT OF **ING NOWHERE.

"The first time, yeah," Pax Jr. nodded. "They re-built it afterwards, but the second tower was burnt down because of the second legend...

"The three Beasts, enraged by some reason, was calmed down by Ho-Oh. Unfortunatly, he was incredibly hurt during the battle. He struggled back to the tower to rest his wounds, when soon...

"A man, who was jelous of Ho-Oh's great power, led an army up the tower to attack Ho-Oh. Using his last power, he burnt the tower down and killed everyone on it: The army, Ho-Oh himself, everyone."

"Last power?" Ria asked. She had never heard of this 'second legend'. Honestly, she believed it to be fake.

"The remaining bit of strength he had left," Pax Jr. said. "He basically burnt the whole thing down with a huge blast of fire."

"I don't believe it. Where'd you hear this?" Ria asked, eyes narrowing into a glare.

"It's a common legend back at the town in the present," Pax Jr. said. "I can't believe you've never heard it."

"I usually don't socialize." Ria said.

"Oh... right," Pax Jr. said. "So... maybe we were sent back for a reason? Maybe we should help Ho-Oh?"

"I don't know, YOU'RE the one who caused it." Ria said, checking on Pearson.
