![]() Another thread just to play with pairings of Vespy and Joben. 1/30/2011 #1 |
![]() A destiny is a special thing, a unique thing. No two lifetimes are ever the same, no matter how similar. There is only one link between destinies, and that is when the join together, when two lifetimes become one. When two people are so spirtually connected through time and space, no matter what, that they share the same destiny, the same happiness and the same pain. Angels from heaven swayed by demons of hell. Brutal murderers touched in the heart by soft-spoken citizens. Sometimes the likelyhood of some of these destinies meeting, is about as high as the stars above their heads, but sometimes, no matter how ludicrous, life sometimes has a way of making sure all exits are covered. There's someone out there for everyone, through love and affection, through anger and fury, through sadness and woe, and the strength that holds them together, is the strength that carries them through the days. All it takes to discover what it takes to make that first step, is to simply... Look Past the Masquerade... _ A man stood in a party, next to a woman. He was smartly dressed in a black tuxedo, with a white mask on his face that seemed to have two demonic horns sticking out from them, curling around his head. A black, spade-headed tail hung limply from his behind. "You have no idea how much of an itch I have in my tail right now..." He whispered, softly. 1/30/2011 #2 |
![]() The woman laughed softly, her silver mask flashing in the light. "Then itch it," she said simply with a grin up at him. She had a pair of wings on her back with her continuous sense of irony There was a woman dressed as a gypsy up at a microphone, singing. Farther in the crowds was a woman in a shimmering, slinky green dress. Her hair was long and she had dragon-like wings on her back. 1/30/2011 #3 |
![]() "An itch to move it" The man clarified with a soft smile. Another man, his suit a sparkling show of white and black, with a silver face-mask on his face, weaved through the crowd like he was wading through a stream, heading towards the drinks table. Meanwhile, what seemed to be a boy wearing a tuxedo of tye-dye stood nervously in the corner, his mask covering his whole head it seemed, with rabbit ears and antlers protrouding, and a rainbow ball of fluff on his behind. 1/30/2011 #4 |
![]() The woman smirked, "I'm sure that if you did, everyone would just think it's fancy technology." The woman in green was standing near the drinks with one in her hand. The gypsy was up on stage singing with a small band behind her. 1/30/2011 #5 |
![]() "Hmm... Perhaps" The man replied. The tail twirled experimentally. The silver-masked man stepped up to the woman in green with a smirk, and plucked the glass out of her hand. "Please, madame" He said, his accent dripping Italian. "You're meant to be having a good time at our host's expence" He said, with a grin, and gave her a different glass, filled with liquid already. "Why not treat yourself to the real experience, and not waste your time searching for the best taste, when I can promise you that this, is it" 1/30/2011 #6 |
![]() The woman laughed slightly as he did. The woman in green raised her green rimmed eyes up to look at him, "Is that so?" she asked. "And why would you have the best drink and be so willing to give it up?" 1/30/2011 #7 |
![]() "Masquerades have certainly changed since I was last present for one" The man remarked, letting his tail curl through the air. The silver-masked man grinned. "Because I'm even more willing to talk to a beautiful woman whilst she drinks it... And since your eyes are beautiful, the rest of you surely must be" 1/30/2011 #8 |
![]() The angel smiled, "I'm sure they have," she said. The woman smirked, "And why would I accept a drink from a stranger?" 1/30/2011 #9 |
![]() The man nodded. "They've certainly got more..." He glanced around. "...revealing, but also elaborate... The Renaisance wasn't like this" The silver-masked man smirked. "Your at a masquarade, my lady... Who isn't a stranger here?" 1/30/2011 #10 |
![]() "My point exactly." The angel smiled, "To a point," she said, "But then again, this reminds me a bit of New Orleans." 1/30/2011 #11 |
![]() The man smirked. "Would you ever forgive yourself if you missed taking a chance that could have ended with you feeling better than you did before?" He was slowly raising the glass to his lips. The demon nodded. "That I can picture" He agreed. 1/30/2011 #12 |
![]() The angel grinned with a small laugh. The green woman smirked, "You bring up a good point," she said. 1/30/2011 #13 |
![]() "I'm not used to all these garments though" The demon remarked, looking down at himself. Silvermask grinned. "Well, if I can't persuade you to have this drink, perhaps I'll have more luck persuading you to dance?" 1/30/2011 #14 |
![]() The angel-witch smirked, "Neither am I." The woman in green smiled, "Perhaps," 1/30/2011 #15 |
![]() "You can never bring me to a nudist party, can you?" The demon remarked with a smirk. "No clothes at all needed there..." The silver man grinned. "Now, would you like this drink?" 1/30/2011 #16 |
![]() Ettie laughed, "Next time we'll go to a nudist colony." The woman laughed, "I thought we were dancing." 1/30/2011 #17 |
![]() "You say that every time and we never do..." Maverick remarked with a smirk. "I know" The man replied. "But it'd be a shame to waste such an expensive drink" 1/30/2011 #18 |
![]() Ettie smirked, "You have to remind me." The woman laughed, "Promise there's no drugs in it?" 1/30/2011 #19 |
![]() Maverick smirked back. "You usually distract me" The man smiled softly. "I give you my word" 1/31/2011 #20 |
![]() Ettie smirked, "Not my fault we're both easily distracted." The woman smiled, taking the drink from him. 1/31/2011 #21 |
![]() Maverick smirked. "Talking of which, is that your freind Rocky... cowering in the corner, over there?" The man grinned. 1/31/2011 #22 |
![]() Ettie looked up at him in confused, "What?" The woman smirked, "But now you must have a drink and we can toast to," she looked around, "Whatever this party is for." 1/31/2011 #23 |
![]() Maverick gestured to the corner of the room, where a man, or more acurately, a boy, stood nervously in a bright, tye-dye tuxedo, next to a large potted plant. The man smirked, and picked up a glass. "You're not aware of our glorious host's reason for throwing a party?" 1/31/2011 #24 |
![]() Ettie smirked, "So he is," she said. Frankie smirked, "I was told at one point, but I stopped paying attention a long time ago." 1/31/2011 #25 |
![]() Maverick nodded. "Sticks out like a sore thumb, he does" Enzo smirked. "Our host, Juan Giovani, just recently discovered a large deposit of Oil in Serbia, and now he celebrates his massive find with this party, intending to show off his newly-aquired land that he has... become in possession off, and bless us with a vision of his company's future" He clinked their glasses. "All a bit boring, really" 1/31/2011 #26 |
![]() Ettie laughed, "And you don't?" Frankie laughed, clinking her glass with his, "Which is precisely why I wasn't paying attention when I was told." 1/31/2011 #27 |
![]() "I can change, if I wanted" Maverick pointed out. Enzo grinned. "Here's to ignorance" 1/31/2011 #28 |
![]() Frankie laughed slightly as she sipped her drink. Ettie laughed, "But you never do." 1/31/2011 #29 |
![]() "You don't usually need me too" Maverick remarked. "You hardly take me to anywhere where there will be scores of people, unless I can go undercover, like now" He smiled. "But I digress, I can change if he wanted to... But he however, doesn't seem to enjoy that luxury" Enzo grinned, as he drank his drink. 1/31/2011 #30 |
