I am searching for a Sherlock Holmes story. I know it's set in the movie version and not the show.

Ok I can't remember the name of the story nor the summery, but this is what I do remember. Sherlock and Watson go to America, they are hired (if I am remembering correctly)

to help solve an attempted murder on a mans life. Now he has a daughter and she is a bit odd and takes a shine to Sherlock. I think at one point they even visit a brothel.

Now if anyone could please help me find this story I would be very grateful.
