Hello! Is anybody out there? It seems that there has hardly been a single contribution to "The Writers Corner" forum, in months. I'm having another attack of writer's block, my home computer is malfunctioning, I'm using the computers at my local library, and there's nothing I want to see on television. I am totally bored, and it's getting lonely here.

Is anybody out there, who'd like to start a discussion about about anything?

Yeah, seems the forum has become abandoned, but I think that might be only because it's becoming summer and most sane people go out and don't sit the whole day in front of their computers. ^_^

Feels, almost as if the forum is haunted. That would be something, for the forum to get its personal ghost. XD

Oh, I'm still around. :) Still working the graveyard shift, still check in every day or so here. But yeah, it's been awfully quiet.

These forums were silent even back in the winter time. However, since I haven't been contributing anything myself, I've got no business complaining.

I've been afflicted with writer's block since the end of February. To overcome the boredom, I've opened another account in a different fanfiction website, where I have posted copies of my completed stories. The problem there, is that the number of members are much smaller than are here on fanfiction .net; so the readings and reviews are much fewer.

I also recognize the pen names of some of that website's contributers, as being our fanfiction .net forum buddies. I suppose they're like me; spending so much time in the new website, that they just haven't got time to spend back here.

I'm considering deleting this thread since I'm back now, but only for the summer before school starts in August. The forums do slow down every now and then, and pick up again. I'm not too worried about it. I'll always keep the forum up as long as people are interested in coming here to talk about writing. :)

...I will not be on the forum as frequently as I used to be. I post in spurts, but now that it's September and I'm enrolled in grad school full time, I will be posting even less. This doesn't mean that I won't be around at all. I'll still drop in when I can to post and check up on things. I'm just letting you all know that I haven't completely abondoned Writer's Corner. If I'm not here for any issue, we have our great mods, Time Incursion and ArmandLeg, to lend a hand. At the same time, they are busy too. So if anyone has any questions or comments and can't reach me on this board, please feel free to pm me or email me. That said, welcome to all new members and thank you to all loyal posters who continue to post here and make this forum what it is!
