Penny perched on a bench, a bottle in her hand.

Toby saw Penny sitting there

Penny took a swig of the bottle, unsure what to make of the letter from Angela.

Toby walked over to her.

"Sorry, was this yours?"

"No, just wanted to see you"

Penny smiled at him, her eyes slightly bloodshot.

"Do you want a bit?"

Toby shook his head. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm not, it's the whiskey. You're right, this stuff is awful for me," she added with a short laugh.

"Ha you see I am right. Who wrote to you?"

Penny took a deep breath.

"Angela,"

Toby heard the deep breath. "How is she?"

"She's happy! I just... it's been strange. Stranger than my dreams,"

"What do you mean strange?"

"She's cohabiting with a ghost." Penny replied.

"What!"

"She's went off with the Phantom,"

"How do you know?"

She passed him the letter.

"She left me her savings, too. And her ribbons," Penny laughed humourlessly.

"I can't believe Angela she's mad"

"They both are,"

"Has she told you how to contact her at all?"

Penny shook her head.

"She said to give it to that Persian man."

"Him, mm he freaks me outta bit"

"And me," Penny nodded. "Are you alright?"

what? yeah I'm fine Penny"

Penny nodded, catching sight of something. To check, she reached out and took Toby's hand, holding it up to the light.

"You're bleeding,"

"What? oh that nothing serious"

"How did that happen?"
