Eliora shrugged, "I don't like having too personal connections with my clients."

Vaati rolled his eyes. "What's the big deal, Eli? So I used to notice you a lot in High School, how is that a problem?" You don't need to know that I had a crush.

"Because there's a possibility of asking to talk about old times. Times we didn't have mind you. But still. I prefer to stay professional and if that means lying then so be it."

"Eli..."

She looked at him from the corner of her eye for a moment, "Hm?"

Vaati grimaced. "You don't have to act like we're strangers, though."

It makes my life easier. She didn't say anything.

Vaati stayed quiet and looked out the window.

"We're here," she announce, pulling the car off to the side and getting out of it."

Vaati got out with her.

She locked the door and waited for him by the door to walk in.

Vaati just followed her around. He didn't seem interested in anything and thus made her job harder.

"How about we just get you a nice black and white tux? A normal one."

"Sure...."

"Well is there anything else that's caught your eye?"

"No."

"Let's keep looking... Or I'm going to start shoving you in suits. Pick a few that you would be able to stand and we'll go from there."

Vaati just picked the first one he saw.

She wasn't even looking at him, "Pick a few."

He picked a few other ones he saw.

She took one. It was all black and white except for a dark purple vest underneath.

Vaati actually liked it.

Eliora lounged in one of the chairs, waiting for him to change.

Vaati came out fairly quick and grinned. "I'd love it even more if my fiancé didn't hate purple."

"That's why I grabbed the one with the vest." Eliora said, standing up. "If you stand up straight it won't show." She pat his chest and then straightened out the vest and overcoat so the vest couldn't be seen. "See?" she asked, pressing her hand against his chest and forcing him to stand straight up. The vest wasn't visible. She left her hand there, not thinking, and looked up at him, smiling.

Vaati blushed, smiling back. "Yeah... Thanks, Eli. It's good." He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

She blushed for a second and stepped away, letting her hand fall, "So this one's the one?"

"Yeah, this one's the one..."

"Good."

"Do you two need a hand?" A woman asked. She looked to be about in her mid-fifties.

"No we're good I think." Eliora smiled.

Vaati nodded. "Yeah, thanks."
