She nodded at him.

"Hello, Kane."

There was a murmur of greetings around the table. He cleared his throat. "I hope most of you have come prepared for tonight, because we're going to ambush. Any weapons you may have brought with you now can be taken and hidden in the Manor before tonight's events."

Elizabeth nodded slowly.

"I have some in my car. I thought it would be rather suspicious if I walked in carrying a rifle."

He nodded. "Good." It would be easy enough to sneak them in, saying they were band instruments or something of that nature. "The event will start in eight hours from now, and I will assume you'll keep yourselves scattered among guests, including the Jellicles that may be there. I know it's not exactly ideal, but we must try to blend into the crowd until Keenan's speech at eight thirty."

Elizabeth scowled slightly at the thought of being near Jellicles, but nodded. It made sense.

"Alright. I'll bear with it as long as there's blood on the floor at the end of the day." Her face twisted slightly, the scars distorting it even more.

Kane chuckled, seemingly amused. "That's the idea, Elizabeth... By the time Keenan finishes, I'll be up on the main floor to escort her off. When I'm no longer with her, I'll be heading down the main hallway, away from the crowd. You'll follow me, one by one, but in a five-minute interval between exits, so we won't look suspicious. I'll expect us all to be in the same spot by nine. We'll meet in the board room at Keenan Manor, which is four doors down from the kitchen. From there, we'll have our weapons, and our plan of attack."

She nodded.

"Is there anything else we need to know?"

Kira grinned widely as she walked. It had been awhile since she was last here, but she still remembered the path to her grandmother's house. She looked over at Taylor, who was currently male. Taylor caught her looking and flashed a smile, which Kira returned. They rounded a bend in the path and saw the house. Taylor whistled, impressed. When they reached the door, Kira knocked a few times, then entered. Taylor followed her a bit nervously.

"Are you sure we should just go in?" He asked nervously, his French accent as obvious as always. "I mean, I know it is your grand-mere's 'ouse, but still..."

"Don't worry Tay. It's fine. I sent a letter to her a few days ago saying we would be coming at some point. She said when we arrived, to just come in and find someone. So, let us go find someone." She headed down a hallway, Taylor trailing after her silently. A little ways down the hallway, she saw a slightly open door. She looked at it curiously.

"Hello?" She called, Taylor tensing slightly behind her.

OOC: I was thinking that they're outside Shannon's room...if that's okay....

Kane blinked. "All you need to know is that only the Jellicles can be harmed. If humans pose a threat, they can be taken hostage, but not harmed. I will be keeping myself away from the fight so I will not suspected. I need to remain at Keenan Manor for now. When this is over, you'll all report back to headquarters, as planned. Understood?"

Calypso looked up from her thoughts, still in Shannon's room, as she heard a voice outside the door. Sighing softly, she looked around to see if there was some way around meeting more people, and eyed the window. The room was on the first floor, so it would be fine to jump out. Sliding the window open, she jumped out lightly and started looking for another door into the manor, or possibly just finding Finn instead.

Shannon looked up, only just realizing that Cal was still there.

"Hi Cal. Bye Cal." With that, she walked over to the door and opened it. "Hello?"

Elizabeth nodded. "Alright." She paused for a moment. "... does the word 'human' apply to the Watchers, as well?"

Calypso raised her hand slightly, as Shannon adressed her and started making her way around, almost wishing that she had noticed Finn earlier. At any rate, she found another door, walked in, and started making her way towards the dining room again.

Cori looked up as he heard someone near the dining room. He quickly walked over to greet them, smiling slightly.

"Hi, Cal," he greeted.

"Hi there, Cori," Calypso said, smiling slightly. "Just to let you know, two more people have joined us here. I don't know who, or what, they are, yet...How are you, by the way?"

Cori nodded slightly at the new information, before smiling softly.

"I'm good, I guess. It's nice, not having to worry so much about staying hidden. And finding food."

"Yeah, it's nice. How are you enjoying the company?" Calypso asked him, meaning Farren, of course. Despite what Cori said, or how he acted, she still figured that his self-confidence was hit from it.

Cori shrugged slightly.

"I'm surprised, of course. And I don't really care for Zenia that much. But I think it's hit Shannon harder than it's hit me."

At that moment, a blond, curly-haired Jellicle kit walked outside carrying a teddy bear. Nevina wasn't terribly sure where she was going, but she wanted to talk to somebody. Maybe that nice person who had got her teddy bear for her...

"I'm worried about Shannon..." Calypso said softly. "I don't think Farren's appearance did any good. Probably hurt her even more..."

Farren sighed softly, opening his eyes from his short nap, and jumped down out of the tree. He needed to blow off some energy, and avoid Shannon for a while, and possibly Zenia as well. Nevertheless, he started walking back to the manor.

Cori nodded, frowning slightly.

"Yeah. Have you talked to her much about it?"

Nevina grinned as she spotted the teddy bear guy.

"Hiyas, Mister!" she greeted as she ran up to him, still clutching onto her teddy.

"Some, not much. She usually tries to dodge it when I ask her about it. She usually replies that she's just stressed. I really want to keep her in a room for a couple of days and not let her out," Calypso said, sighing slightly. "She tries to act strong, yet she's going to shut down before long. We both know that. She's also just slightly bitter about me and Finn, so I don't think that's helping at all..."

Farren looked down, slightly suprised at the young jellicle that ran up to him. "Hi there. You're the one who I got the teddy for, right?" he asked her.

Cori nodded slightly.

"Yeah. She's seemed like that ever since Farren... left... To me, at least."

Nevi nodded, still smiling.

"Thanks a bunch about that, mister. Miss Zenia's like that a lot." Her smile dropped briefly before returning. "But I'm kind if used to it by now."

"You're not the only one who's noticed it. Pretty much everyone's seemed to notice it, with the exception of Dante and Tara, yet they only knew her after Farren left. Farren had better not make it worse though. There aren't as many pollicles here to stop me..." Calypso said softly.

Farren looked concerned at the young jellicle and dropped down so that he was level with her.

"Now what does Miss Zenia do?" he asked her softly.

Cori looked slightly concerned, before nodding again.

"You aren't the only one. Tugger's told me that he also wants to punch Farren."

Nevi shrugged slightly, looking at the ground.

"She's just... scary. She yells a lot." She looked up frantically. "Please don't tell her I said that, mister!"

Calypso laughed softly. "I doubt that the biggest flirt's threats amount to much..." she said softly. "How's Dante, by the way. You said he was crying earlier."

Farren shook his head quickly. "I wasn't going to...What's your name, by the way?" he asked her.

"I think he's better now," Cori replied. "Tugger and I managed to calm him down some."

"I'm Nevi," the kit chirped happily, smiling again. "Short for Nevina!"

"That's good," Calypso said softly. "Anything new happen in here while I was gone, by the way?"

"Well then, Nevi, I won't tell her. Are your parents here, Nevi? I'm sure they might be getting worried about you," he said, smiling slightly.

Cori concentrated slightly.

"Nothing that immediately comes to mind."

Nevi nodded.

"Mummy and Daddy said that I could go play outside with Teddy, if I wanted to. I eated breakfast, and they're still busy." She continued to smile, hugging her teddy slightly.

"Well, that's good, I expect. At least no one got killed while I was gone," Calypso said, smiling slightly at the last statement.

"That's good then," Farren said slighlty, glancing around and wondering if there was some way he could get away from Nevi without feeling like some random carnivore would come up out of nowhere and pick her up for a snack.

Cori smiled.

"Yeah. No deaths is always a good thing."

Nevi frowned slightly, looking up at the sky.

"But it looks like it's gonna rain..." She pouted. "I think I'm gonna head back inside. Are you gonna come, too, mister?"
