Prue did not die in “All Hell Breaks Loose”. Piper or Phoebe did. Now Prue, her surviving sister and newly discovered half-sister Paige form the second incarnation of the Charmed Ones.

Requirements

- Paige’s back-story remains the same as it did on the show; half-Whitelighter, given up for adoption at birth, etc.

- Do not change the sisters’ birth order.

- Prue teaching Paige about magic (Piper/Phoebe can teach too but it’s up to you whether she does or not)

- The first meeting between Paige and Victor.

- Leo must keep his job as their Whitelighter and I would like to see Cole stick around at least for a while, regardless of who has died.

As far as Paige’s powers go, there are a few options.

(a) Paige develops either Piper or Phoebe’s powers, depending on which of them died.

(b) Paige, along with the other two Charmed Ones, retains her original power and the power of the dead sister either goes to one of them or is divided amongst them – for example, if Phoebe dies, one of her surviving sisters could see into the future, one could levitate and one could develop empathy at a later date. If Piper dies, one could freeze time and one could blow things up. The remaining sister can either not get an extra power, get both of Piper’s abilities to a weaker degree or two out of the three survivors could inherit the same ability.

(c) Paige retains her original power and the powers of the others are shuffled – for example, if Phoebe dies, Paige could get telekinesis, Prue could get Piper’s old abilities and Piper Phoebe’s. If Piper dies, Paige could get telekinesis, Prue could get Phoebe’s visions and Phoebe could get Piper’s powers.

Obviously, Paige retains her Whitelighter abilities in all scenarios.
