![]() ***POSSIBLE SPOILERS BEWARE**** So, I just finished reading Dreams of a Dark Warrior (and loved it needless to say) and the epilogue really got to me. For one, it teased about Regin and Declan's kids. But then it made me think back to the recent news of the spin off series that was planned/ at leas mentioned in the news update... I'd kinda been thinking about it and I couldn't work out how a spin off series in the Lore world would work because IAD already brings in all the characters... but after the epilogue of DoaDW I kinda think it might be a next generation Lore thing... any thoughts? Other theories? I'd love to hear 'em 2/28/2011 #1 |
![]() I hadn't heard about that. Do you have a link to where you read about it? 2/28/2011 #2 |
![]() I read it in the Kresley Cole newsletter. Pretty sure it came out on the day DoaDW was released.... I'll see if I can find it online somewhere... 3/01/2011 #3 |
![]() Sigh! Okay, so I'm not overly technology savvy and the internet is not my first language, BUT I doooo know how to cut and paste, and so, for you, I have copy and pasted the newsletter I recieved on the 16th of February:::: Hi all! Today, I'm delighted to announce the official release of Dreams of a Dark Warrior, Regin the Radiant and Declan Chase's tale. Regin was one of the first Immortals After Dark characters—her story was in the initial proposal for the series—so she's been waiting six years for her turn (and a thousand years for her hero Declan). This is my longest book yet (500+ pages!), and one of my favorites in the entire series. The early feedback has been absolutely incredible! I hope you enjoy it as well! DoaDW is available at all major book retailers and online for eBook readers. Click here to order your copy or here to read the extended excerpt.... In other news, I'm thrilled to relate that I have signed on to write more Immortals After Dark installments, along with a new IAD spin-off series and a YA series, all with Pocket Books. You can click here for more info on my Facebook page. My next full-length IAD book (early 2012) will feature Lothaire the Enemy of Old. He plays a major role in Dreams of a Dark Warrior, and I can't wait to share more of his story with you. Also, for a behind the scenes look at how the IAD books come to life, click here to read a Pocket After Dark Q&A with my editor Lauren McKenna, where we answer questions about the series and our process. Also at Pocket After Dark? A chance to win an autographed poster of the DoaDW cover! Lastly, we've been busy adding designs to our Merch section (Loa's storefront), including the new "DEFCON Regin!" T-shirts. Click here to shop for all things IAD.Well, that's all for now, but thank you again for your support and well wishes! I really appreciate your kind words and readership, and for helping spread the word about the IAD series. All my best, :)Kresley 3/02/2011 #4 |
