![]() Things had become dreadful in the once quiet town of Fernsdale. Everyday seemed to have dark, overcast weather, and the townspeople hadn't known the warmth of the sun for weeks. The crops began to whither and die. The streets became overrun with vermin, and a streak of pestilence had brought the population down to little more than a handful of people through death and people fleeing what was now considered a cursed town. Then when the townspeople thought things couldn't get worse, a series of mysterious deaths began sprouting throughout the neighborhood. It always began the same, with the victim convulsing in an intense epileptic fit, muttering, stuttering an incomprehensible set of syllables as though a dire message was on the very tip of their tongues. Then, in the final moments before death, the victim would become very still, rigid in fact. Then the levitation began. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 feet above the ground they would float, stopping briefly before spinning at first slowly. But as time went on the spinning became faster and faster. By the 5 minute mark the victim span so impossibly fast that their heads and limbs would detach from their torso from the centrifugal force. And then the torso would fall to the ground with a hard thump, and the deed was done. "Witch Craft" was the town's explanation, and they were correct. This simple, secluded town had somehow attracted a small collection of witches, who have no connection with one another, other than the simple fact that they were here to terrorize the citizens. Quickly a system of trials was set in place, using the town's common knowledge to detect and punish the witches, and to clear the innocent of these heinous crimes. Our story begins at the first trial. 10/28/2010 . Edited 10/30/2010 #1 |

![]() Say, is this ever going to get an intro? 10/30/2010 #14 |

![]() @Irweg/Mega Happy? :P 10/30/2010 #17 |
![]() :/ 10/30/2010 #18 |
![]() Fine, I'll work on an actual intro ^^ 10/30/2010 #19 |
![]() Luig might join...if he gets back...which is likely a negative...so we could try Champ, TJ, Yorkie, and all the other people at the Convo Station not signed up. :P 10/30/2010 #20 |
![]() I think Luig said something about wanting to join. But if I put him in the game and he didn't, that could be problematic. But I'm pretty sure he'd be all over this. Decisions, decisions... 10/30/2010 #21 |
![]() There. That's the kind of epic intro I expect from you. :P 10/30/2010 #22 |
![]() ..........that's wonderful. Epic, too. 10/30/2010 #23 |
![]() I was half expecting: "She turned me into a newt!" "A newt?" "...I got better." 10/30/2010 #24 |
![]() The ideal number of players would be 13. 4 witches, 9 townies. Plus, a fitting number, of course. :P 10/30/2010 . Edited 10/30/2010 #25 |
![]() Sign me in. Now. 10/30/2010 #26 |

![]() @Toady I was planning on just adding Luig to the roster is no one else joins, but since you called it I'll put you in instead of him (unless you'd rather have Luig take the final spot) 10/30/2010 #29 |
![]() Let him play then. ^^ 10/30/2010 #30 |
