Okay, long story short, it was supposed to be a fangame from chrono trigger that borrowed some of the ideas and concepts Nanaki introduced. However due to a trifecta of writers block, cross continental moving(America to Japan), and capitol irresposibility, that incarnation is as dead as a doorknob...

Would any one be interested in seeing it here?

This is a summary.

Imagine...

A world where the clouds never lift. Infinite plains of dead brown grass extend into the hoizon. A massive city called the strip covers the entire planet in a 1000-mile wide web. No oceans. A military government that sends anyone deviating from a correct profile to the gas chambers.

Unlike CT, there wasn't a paradise to loose. Paradise had already been lost. It was too late for this world.

Or was it? From the shadows, a group of four adventurers arrives, thrown together by fate, and each with the same goal: Save our world.

But from the shadows emerges a mysterious entity known only as Hunter...

The wheels of fate begin to spin...

The military uses The Chaos Theory, the imperfect template of a god, to try to destroy the group, but they prevail.

They escape to the ruins of the Village of Rage, Encratchoutos, Where the chaos law had first been tested. The sole survivor can only weep. This is his mother's grave. Why is life so cruel? He queries the void...

And the void in response, finally, finally, after so many millienia see fit to answer this question asked by so many people.

"Look at a mirror, Humans and Lavoid alike made it this way.", It pauses, "You have great power in you, Human. Can you absolve the sins of you ancestors? Can you bear to suffer the ultimate tragedy, for the sake of another?"

The hero, for a moment alone from all his friends looks to the sky, and answers: "You fool." Don't you see? I already have."

And so the void in reply, kills a firey star, and so is released the grief of all who have ever suffered...

The Paranoia Phoenix...

Speculation on the origin of Lavos? Always fun.

I don't want to say too much, but I have my own ideas on the subject.
