"I don't want to fight," I said. "Maybe, if you tell me what's bothering you, I can try harder, next time."

'I'm still pissed off over Oliver,' I snapped. 'And that's making me pissed off with pretty much everything else. Especially you, when you keep bloody rubbing it in.'

(OOC: Probably not long at all. Guh.)

Cariel-

"Rubbing it in?" I repeated blankly.

(OOC: Belisaere 3 took us just over a month. And that was including the days you were without internet. :P)

~Idriel~

'Going out on dates all the time,' I muttered.

(OOC: Oh man...)

Cariel-

I blinked. "But - that has nothing to do with you," I said, at a loss. "I didn't mean to - make you feel bad, or anything."

(OOC: Yeah...)

~Idriel~

'Well, it doesn't make it easy to get over him, does it,' I muttered. 'But then, you don't think that I should be crying over him anyway, do you.'

Cariel-

I was quiet for a moment. "So... would you rather I didn't see Terin?" I asked with a tremor in my voice.

~Idriel~

I sighed. 'I'd rather I still had Oliver,' I said, a little quieter.

Cariel-

I placed my hand lightly on Idriel's arm.

~Idriel~

I made a half-hearted attempt to shrug Cariel off again, but it didn't work.

'He hates me,' I heard myself whisper. 'He doesn't want me anymore.'

Cariel-

I softly stroked Idriel's hair, then brought my other hand up to Idriel's shoulder, and silently cast a Healing spell.

~Idriel~

'I saw him yesterday,' I admitted quietly. 'Not intentionally, though. We just - walked into each other in the corridor. He - told me that I shouldn't bother trying to apologise or anything.'

Cariel-

I sighed. "Oh, Idriel..." I continued to stroke her hair.

~Idriel~

'I almost ended up sleeping at the top of that cliff by the bay,' I whispered.

Cariel-

"You didn't!" I gasped. "Idriel, you could've gotten hurt - or sick -"

~Idriel~

'I came back here, though,' I mumbled. 'After a while.'

Cariel-

"We won't try that again, will you?" I asked, continuing to stroke Idriel's hair.

~Idriel~

'I hope not,' I said quietly. I didn't want to feel that way again.

Cariel-

"So you've been making friends with the Clayr?" I asked, deciding to change the subject.

~Idriel~

I nodded. 'Iselli suggested it, because I needed to find something to distract me from -'

(OOC: My Mom's skyping me!)

Cariel-

"Right," I said quickly. "Well - they all seem very nice. They've been a real help with Nate."

~Idriel~

'Some of the Paperwing pilots are showing me some fancy moves,' I said, with a small smile.

Cariel-

"Really?" I said, smiling. Idriel was always much more daring than me. "You're not allowed to do them with Nate in the Paperwing," I warned.

'I know,' I said dryly. 'When my shoulder's healed, they want to show me how to fly upside-down and do loops.'

Cariel-

"That sounds... rather frightening," I said. "How's your shoulder anyway?"

(OOC: *breaks open the bubbly*)

~Idriel~

'Painful,' I replied. 'But I can move it a little now. The Healers gave me this tea to have, that's supposed to help.'

(OOC: I still has no alcohol. :P)

Cariel-

I nodded, and was silent for a while. Idriel and I weren't fighting, so that was a good sign.

"So... if it turns out that you do have time,the day after tomorrow," I said cautiously, "did you want to spend some time with me and Nate?"
