![]() Ok, so i just finished reading Revenge of The Old Queen Script...and i nearly bawled my eyes out quite a few times actually....! POOR RIFF RAFF!!!!!!! So, i was wondering, do you think that it SHOULD have been made into a movie? say maybe not, because: a.) it would upset ALOT of RiffxMagenta fans, and b.) NO PAT QUINN!!!! So i am curious of your guys opinions cuz thats just mine, and i think if i woulda watched it i would burst into tears! Please Share Your Opinions! --Meggi-Lovett Do it again!!! Do what? THE TIME WARP!!! :D 3/30/2011 #1 |
![]() Well, for a long time I would have said OH PLEASE HELL'S PYJAMAS NO, because when I first read it I didn't really like it for a number of reasons: 1) No Frankie (I know he is dead but still) 2) No Columbia (ditto) 3) No Rocky (ditto) 4) RIFFRAFF KILLED MAGENTA! 5) FOR SLEEPING WITH FRANK'S SECOND COUSIN?? 6) Poor Braddy-kins is dead 7) After falling off a trapeze as a bottomless gogo dancer in Vegas And I'm sure I can think of more. But after a while, I realised that I might as well embrace all of this, since it came from the mind of the man himself, Richard O'Brien, who just happens to be my God. :) The first I ever heard about it was when I was reading up on Shock Treatment, back when I was a naive little Rocky Horror fan and stumbled upon the fact that "ZOMG THERE'S A SEQUEL?!" which I was later to find out wasn't really a sequel at all. BUT, whilst finding out about ST, I came upon the first ideas Richard had about a sequel. The first one being "Rocky Horror Shows his Heels", which involved our dearly departed Dr Frank N Furter coming back from the grave (you can search for this in wikipedia and there's a detailed synopsis) and of course, Revenge of the Old Queen, in which two MORE characters that I love are DEAD. Well, I can't imagine it being hard to guess which of the two I preferred. But, now I'm actually sad that ROTOQ is likely to never be made, and especially sad that it wasn't made back when it was first written. I had visions of the cast coming back and playing parallel versions of themselves like in Shock Treatment. Little Nell would have been a perfect Mary Lou. But, maybe it is best that timeless classics are left alone. 3/30/2011 #2 |
![]() i agree. the very first time i read it i was not pleased with the fact all my favs were now dead and poor Riffy (who i adore so so much) is left all alone having to deal with Frank's ass of a cousin, who not only slept with magenta, but continually would throw lines out like "oh, by the way riff, your sister is fabulous" if its any constellation, he deserved to die. When i first watched Shock Treatment i was not pleased either, especially with the story line or the fact they used a different Brad and Janet. I do enjoy the songs though and Shock Treatment is one of me and my best friends favorites to sing. (She sings Little Nell's parts, I sing Pat Quinn's) So i must say i agreed with you 100% and i am now going to research Rocky Horror Shows His Heels. (: Thanks for the reply --Meggi-Lovett I always get the short-end of the stick! 3/31/2011 #3 |
![]() DeLordy didn't sleep with Magenta... He was making a stupid mean joke. (plus that dumb ass didn't know Magenta and Riff Raff are together. He only thought that Riff was a jealous brother.) He confessed before Riff killed him in ROTOQ. 6/28/2011 #4 |
![]() yes, and that is why I forever hate him. and poor Magenta and Rifyy! D: He killed her for nothing! Ooo if Riff hadn't of killed him already i'd be coming after that son of a bitch with a pickaxe 7/01/2011 #5 |
![]() It's way too late to film it. Part of what I like about RHPS and Shock Treatment is their antiquity. 1/07/2012 #6 |
![]() Hey I hate st but I love rhps. Ny fav characters r Frank Janet Brad Riff Raff Magenta Columbia Eddie. Dr. Scott is ok but I don't like Rocky. 12/05/2012 #7 |
