Topic: Season 8 Xander Discussion
So, the almighty God that is Joss Whedon has finally gifted us with a season 8, albeit in comic form. The question is, what do you think of this Xander. It seems to me, that he has grown mighty comfortable in his skin. What do you think?

First impression when reading Xander for the first issue:

OMG! This is the Xander that I know and love! I think Joss went a lo-o-o-ng way in rescuing Xan's character that was so bashed and misused in S6 and especially S7 of BTVS. And he's looking pretty buff these days, too. lol

I was actually curious about something for anyone that reads the entertainment news sites or whatever....

Does the cast get any sort of residuals for their appearances? I know that SMG must get a cut of her statues and so on, but how does the comic book residues work? Anyone have a clue about this?

Well, most actors/actresses have total rights over their characters. But, Joss should hold rights to the characters because he was their inventor. They might get a slight stipend from it, but I doubt it.

I wonder if it would be rude to ask the creative staff at DH? Do you think they'd answer a question like that in the letter column?
