Topic: Welcome!

Let's start out with basic introductions.

I'm Dominiqua aka niklovr. I started writing fan fiction in 1998. Mostly, GH fan fic and then I branched off to other fandoms. I've enjoyed 21JS for years and in the back of my mind, I always thought how Judy and Tom would have made a great couple. A few years ago, I got on a major 21JS kick and dug through my old video tapes and watched so many that the writing bug bit me hard! I ended up writing "Hanging On." After that, I was totally hooked. The "Stand by Your Man" episode really stands out for me as a turning point as to what could have transpired into something amazing for Tom and Judy. Their chemistry was so right on. I love the "Besieged" episode and think Doug is adorable, but there's just something special about Judy and Tom.

What episode really cinched it for you as being a Tom/Judy shipper?

And if you could give them a song, what would yours be? I'm a big 80s music fan, so I'm gonna have to think about this one. I'll post mine later.

Hey~

I'm so glad you're updating Discretion and started this forum =) I've been a fan since the beginning and my JDOCD has been in high-gear for about a year and half now. Ever since the show came out on DVD and I finally saw POTC, at the suggestion of a friend that new I loved JD.

I too believe SBYM was the turning point. If only there had been a follow-up of some sort after that front porch scene. *SIGH* LOL

Anyway, not sure about the song. I'll have to go through my 'cassettes' and try to find one suitable. Something by Journey is coming to mind, but I'll need to hear a few to make sure its the right feeling.

As always, looking forward to a new chapter!

Hey there stranger. Wats up? Nice forum Id like to join. Lets see about me Im 31 so I remebr 21 Jump Street when it first came to fox in the 80's but wasn't allowed to wactch so a few years ago I rented seasons 1 and 2 from netflix and got hooked and bought seasons 3- 5 cause they ahd a big sale at amazon and then a year later I was able to get seaosn 1 - 2 so now I have all 5 seasons on dvd and ocassionally have 21 Jumps Street marathons. I was a Tom Hanson fan at first cause I lvoe Johnny Depp but immediatelyfell in love with Dough after the Besiged episode and Best Years of your life. And I definately loved season 4 when he got married to the elsalvador woman and she was taken away from himand back to el salvador and doug and tom went there to rescue to brin her home to the staes only to find that she had died but he got to adopt his aborablenephew and bring him to the staes. At the time Iwas getting into 21 jump street I also was heavily involved with Quantum Leap my other all time fave show so I decided to write my first fanfic as a QL/21 Jump Street crossover whichIm quite proud of. I posted it once but I decided to take it down and post in the the Quantum leap section but I guess there were no Jump Street fans there cause no one responded to it liek they did in the Jump Street catagory espcially since there is a Tom Judy love stroy involved. So I am now reposting it with some revisions mainly typo and grammer corrections. Read and enjoy!

I love 21 JS so much! My fave characters are Tom (of course) Judy and Doug. And I certainly do think Judy and Tom coulda had something going, but... -sigh- Unfortunately the writers never did elaborate.

I wanna write a 21 JS fanfic but all the ideas have been taken! I don't wanna feel like an unoriginal slob...

I think the turning point was definately Stand By Your Man. I love that episode.

As for the song, no idea... I'm not good at that kinda stuff.

I haven't read your story yet but I plan on reading it!

As for a Tom/Judy fic I still have no clue what I wanna write, I only know that I wanna write a 21 Jumpstreet story......

So I am suffering from a mild case of writer's block too.

I LOOOOVE 21 Jumpstreet!! I'm so glad I found this forum!! I agree, Hoffs and Hansen would make a great couple. I noticed that in the first episode when she was making him a modern day teenager. I own the first and second seasons on DVD and have watched them religiously, but I'm still waiting to get season's 3-5. They're on my Christmas List!!

That was a goood TV show. Of course, partially becuase Johnny was in it! Does it ever come on re-runs?

Not having seen all of the episodes yet, I really would have to say "Orpheus 3.3", the reason being that when Tom obsesses about the videotape, I felt Judy's reaaction was too intense to just simply be that of a coworker in distress about her fellow coworker being on the edge, or even just the reaction of a friend. BTW: Niklovr, I have read your fan fic, and I'm loving it! When are you coming up with much more of these two?

I just wanted to say that I just finished reading your Tom and Judy stories and I thought they were abosulutely great. I hadn't thought much about 21 Jumpstreet in long time but reading your stories made me remember how much I loved the show and all the characters. There was always something special about Judy and Tom. I always like how he was there for after her rape. I thought that created a special bond for them. I know your question about what 80's song should be for them is alittle old but since I just found this forum it's new to me. I think "Whipapeal" by Babyface would have been a good song. Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you to and others who finish their stories. I know people get writers block but sometimes they leave you at such a good point and take really long to up date that it gets frustrating. So again. Thank you for your great stories and hope to read more about Judy and Tom. Hopefully someone will write something wbout Tom and Judy getting married and some of the issues they would face as a married couple and still being undercover.
