You know, this country is going through some hard times. For some, it is the worst of days for them, no shelter, no place to call home. But even in the darkest of days, we must remember our great president Bill Clinton's famous words,

"Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you, we've got some work to do now."

Nah, I don't compete anymore... I used to. But since then it's become pointless.... what's the point of keeping track of favorites and alerts if you don't get as many reviews per chapter as you have alerts?

I have like 37 alerts... and then I get 4 reviews on one chapter... T_T

Eh....I'm just happy that some people like my story. Numbers don't really matter. Otherwise, I would have stopped writing long ago.

I know what that feels like. I may have a small amount of alerts, but even less reviews per chapter.

Although.....after my period of absence.....I am curious as to how long it will take for one of my regulars to submit a review as soon as they see a new chapter up......

I give it an hour. Two tops.

But you know, only you know how good you are at your writing. Don't matter how many reviews you have; just keep on writing. You'll get better... eventually...

@Comment - yeah. I think even if no one really liked my story, I'd still write it because I enjoy it.

That may sound self-centered and shallow, but yes. I like my story, and its plot.

@Dragonknight - I won't lie, my interest in the story has dimmed. My slow-as-hell update speed is proof of that... though I do want to see it finished.

I want to see AND continued as well. I like it. Although, I do wonder just how long/how far you plan on taking it. Do you actually have an end at all planned for it?

I have some things planned out until like... maybe mid-Eldest. I originally planned to divide it into three different fanfics, divided into the three books. Inheritence didn't have a planned release date at the time, so I didn't know when it'd be out. So... I didn't plan out the whole thing because the series wasn't concluded yet. So, as of right now, I only have a loose outline of Eragon and a bit of Eldest. I wrote it down somewhere *looks around in his files*

Even if it takes a long time to do it, I will still keep reading it until you finish it. I truly do like it. As I told you before, it was my first fav and reason for joining FF in the first place. And the story itself is intruiging. I want to know what happens with Glaurung and Saphira. *squee*
