Meet My Daughter, Amy-Janes is my first fanfiction I have attempted. I was inspired to write my own after reading some pretty amazing stories already posted here,. I thought I could write something that had not been done quite this way with any of the alternative history to the canon Pride & Predjudice.

The story grew out of an idea I had that will be will be published in Part 1, Chapter 6 (currently being reread and rechecked before posting), everything in Part 1; Chapters 1 -5 I hope is setting the scene for it.

I still hope to be able to post both Chapter 5 and 6 tonight - the only advantage of being sick is that you can sit up in bed with a laptop (when not feeling like you are coughing your lungs out).
