I'm generally optimistic, but depends on my mood. My outlook on life is largely nihilist, denying human progress, but I don't believe that all of our lives have to be about progress. Life should be about personal enjoyment, and the mere contemplation of life's meaning and goal is a waste of precious time. Once I make friends, I stick to them, supporting them through thick and thin, though I'm always welcoming to new members. I'm open-minded and willing to talk about most things, but sometimes I can be an appallingly stubborn. Prove me wrong decisively, though, and I'll probably become your staunchest ally.

I'm quick to forgive, but not to forget, so be warned! Muhaha! But seriously, I never get angry. Never.

I started by using the RP hosting thread that Runescape kindly provided, spending most of my time on either sci fi or fantasy threads. I was an integral member of a quite large RP based on Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Since then I've been an Internet Hobo, moving around from RP to RP, sometimes watching them die, sometimes having to quit due to my workload. Thanks to more efficient time-management, however, this won't happen here! :D

Well, sort of. When I went to Portugal, our tour guide said Portuguese does has many huge differences compared to Spanish (she even explained some of the examples for us to understand better) and while a Portuguese person can understand Spanish if they are talking, it will be a lot harder for the Spanish person to understand Portuguese language.

But I am no expert, that's what I heard from our pretty cool tour guide.

Well, when a portuguese person tries to talk to me, I don't understand anything... Or I catch a word in a dozen. Italian, on the other hand, I can understand, but not portuguese.

Same - I've heard and read Portuguese, and I don't get it. Occasionally there will be a word that I'm like, "Okay...I think I know what that means," but for the most part I'm lost. Also same with Italian - I can understand about 70-80% of Italian.

(also, I'm learning Hindi...totally different, but I LOVE it.)
