A test on Kowalski's new invention causes a downfall in the universe. Now, friends have forgotten one another and are fighting against eachother, villains have more power over their weak enemies, and romance is blindly fighting to be seen as well as the truth. Stuck in a world that's filled with hatred and darkness, with trust extinct, can everyone come together, even as enemies, and stop the madness of the universe, and return back to a home they don't know?

Sara headed off towards the Penguins' habitat, whistling as she did. She felt cheerful that morning. She jumped into the Penguins' habitat and opened the entrance.

"HIIIIIII!" she yelled into it.

Skipper jumped in surprise and spanned around, narrowing his eyes when he saw Sara. "What can I do for you this morning?" asked the leader penguin, waddling over to the ladder and staring up at the wolf.

"Nothing," Sara said. "Just wanted to see what y'all were doing.." She narrowed her eyes. "And no, I'm not spying."

Skipper snorted in disbelieve. But he shrugged and didn't question the wolf, surprisingly. Instead he replied," We're doing nothing today. I gave the others the day off. They're most likely somewhere in the zoo, finding someway to spend their free day."

Just then the door to Kowalski's lab opened, and Alex waddled out with dirt all over her. She shook herself and dust flow everywhere. She laughed when she noticed she got dirt on her dad. "Sorry, Skipper," she said. "I was just reappearing one of Kowalski's machine."

"Since when do you build stuff?" her father questioned, dusting himself off.

Alex shrugged. "Kowalski has been showing me how."

Sara jumped into the HQ amused. "What does it do?" she asked.

"It's not completely finished yet," Alex warned her. "But Kowalski said it is suppose to make humans able to understand animals. He got the idea one day when he overheard a movie Private was watching."

"A talking animal movie," Skipper put in. "Don't know the name of it."

Alex glared at him. "It's an easy name to remember!"

"I know, but I don't want to remember it. Animals talking to humans isn't right."

Sighing, Alex turned back to Sara and told her," The name of the movie was Cats & Dogs."

"Oh, I like that movie!" Sara smiled. "Need any help?"

Alex smiled and nodded. But before she could say anything, Skipper took a step forward and ordered," There will be no invasion building today. Like I said I gave the others the day off, that including you, Alex. You and Kowalski can finish up the invasion tomorrow. Meanwhile," he added, glancing at Sara," you two can go outside and find something useful to do."

Alex glared at her father, but she knew better than to argue with him. "Fine," she murmured, walking by Sara. "Come on," she said to the wolf. "Let's go see what the others are doing."

"Alright," Sara said. She followed Alex.

Once outside Alex glanced around. Almost immediately she spotted Kowalski, standing on the other side of the platform, staring up at the sky. She slid over to her boyfriend and hugged him, causing him to jump in surprise. But when he realize it was only Alex, he relaxed and smiled down at her.

"What are you doing?" she asked him.

"Calculating the position of the sun," he replied.

Alex laughed lightly. "Um...why?"

"Because...because I'm bored," he admitted. "Skipper won't let me in the lab!"

Sara sighed, then thought for a moment.

"Hmm..maybe one of us could sneak into the lab, grab your invention and tools, and bring it to you so you can work on it without Skipper knowing?"

(BTW Maybe we should have someone remember what happened, instead of making everyone lose their memory?)

Alex and Kowalski thought for a moment and nodded in agreement. Then they both came up with the perfect distraction. "Mort!" they both said at the same time.

(Julien! lol. If you think about it, perhaps he'd be the most likely to remember what happened since he's...um...well, he's Julien!)

The little mouse lemur came running, "I heard my name!" he happily squealed.

Sara rolled her eyes, but smiled. "Mort, we need you to do something important," she said.

"Yes??" Mort asked.

"We need you go to to Kowalski's lab and get something."

(XD Yeah!)

Nosy and Small came to a halt when they got to the gates of the zoo. They glanced at each other, before walking into the zoo. But they stopped when they got in there.

"The penguins' habitat?" asked Small.

"Sure," Nosy replied and took the led over to the habitat. They stopped when they saw the two penguins, wolf, and lemur. "I wonder what's going on over there?" the lab murmured to himself.

"One way to find out." Small started walking over there, with Nosy right behind him.

Kowalski began to explain to Mort what his machine looked like, explaining it very slowly so the little lemur would understand.

Alex jerked her head around when she heard voices, and smiled when she saw Nosy and Small. "Looks like we got company," she announced, pointing to the dogs.

Sara looked at Nosy and Small and smiled, "Hey!"

Mort nodded, "Ok!!! I will get the big box!" He ran to the Penguins habitat.

"Don't let Skipper see you!" Kowalski called after him, not noticing the dogs.

Alex waddled to the gate and called to the dogs," What are you two doing here?"

Mort quickly jumped into the HQ. He saw Skipper, who had his back to him. Mort quickly ran into the lab, and found the machine. He picked it up, but had difficulty due to its weight. He finally managed to get the other stuff, and quickly left the lab, seeing Skipper still had his back to him. He couldn't climb up the ladder, so he used the other exit.

Amber flipped into the penguin habitat, followed by her girls with pretzels and snowcones in their flippers. Madison and Sara sat down on the side of the concrete island and licked their snowcones, but Flora stayed next to Amber as she approached the animals in the habitat.

"Hey everyone," Amber greeted and took a large bite out of her pretzel. "So...what are you all doing out here?" Amber eyed Sara, warily, still not very trusting of any wolf.

"I would have expected you and Alex to be in the lab," Flora admitted to Kowalski and nibbled on her snowcone.

Nosy and Small glanced at each other. Small smirked and walked over to the gates, squeezing though the bars, while Nosy climbed over. They both fell into the water and swam over to the platform, climbing onto it. They then shook their pelts to get the water off.

Sara looked at Amber, and nodded meakly. She knew Amber didn't trust her very much.

Kowalski smiled at Flora, about to reply to her, but Alex knocked into him as she jumped out of the way of the water that the dogs shook off their pelts. The two penguins fell to the platform, Alex landing on top of her boyfriend.

Quickly, she jumped off him and frowned. "Sorry," she murmured, helping him up.

"That's okay," he said. Then he turned to Flora and answered her," Actually, Alex was helping me with my latest machine, but Skipper ran us off, demanding that we take a day off." He sighed and shrugged.

"And I brought them their shiny toys!" Mort smiled proudly.

"Skipper, Skipper, Skipper," Amber chuckled, shaking her head a bit. "I'm going to see him then." She went to the fishbowl entrance and jumped down into it. "Hey Skipper," she greeted when she came into the HQ.

Flora turned to look at Kowalski and asked curiously, "So what are you two working on?"

Kowalski bent down and took the objects, thanking the little lemur. Then he turned to Flora and replied," Now don't call me insane, but it's a machine that allows humans to understand us animals. Then the world would go a lot smoother."

Alex smiled, pound of her boyfriend.

Skipper looked up when he heard a familiar voice. "Oh, hi, Amber." He put his mug on the table and went over to meet her.
