"Right," Adelheine said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, "So at the steps, for lunch, don't be late."

Adelheine walked to the group and sat on the top step, "So girls, what's the agenda?"

"Oh my gosh, did you hear about the new Hermes clutch that came out? I'm on the wait list." A girl said.

"The golden one studded with the emerald clasp?" Adelheine asked.

"Yeah."

"I got it last week, I was planning on wearing it to the 400 ball," Adelheine said.

Lina and Alex walked down the steps as they came into view.

"I can't believe you're making me do this." Alex hissed at his sister.

Lina shrugged. "I just thinks its nice that we're not hanging out at home and actually meeting people."

Alex groaned. "Kill me now." He was about to complain more but Lina stopped in front of Adelheine and her friends.

"Hey." She gave a small smile.

"Hey Lina, Alex, meet the girls, this is Kathleen Van Rensselaer, Charlotte Schlumberger, and Esme Cushing," Adelheine said, "And as you already know, I'm Adelheine Rockerfeller."

The girls that Adelheine said their greetings.

"Nice to meet you guys." Lina said with a smile while Alex gave a meaningless wave.

Lina then nodded. "So where are we going to eat?"

"Why here of course," Adelheine said as she sat down.

"Classy." Lina sat down with a small 'oomph'. Alex took a seat a couple of steps behind them.

"So, we're all here attending the Committee meeting after school correct?" Adelheine asked.

Lina nodded. "Yep. How many people are going to be there anways?"

Adelheine shrugged, "Depends on how many people show up, sometimes people just show up and then leave after they find out who are the members."

"Why would they leave because of that? Just cause they see certain people?" Lina asked.

"No," Adelheine said, "Usually they just want to see the turnout or they just want to know who are the other blue bloods."

Lina nodded. "Oh okay." She took bite out of her sandwhich. "What do they usually talk about in these meetings?"

"Transformation, old shared memories, remembering who we truly are," Adelheine said, "They also teach us how to use our powers, velox, gloom, telepathy, suggestion, etc."

"Glom?" Alex said for the first time in the whole conversation. "Finally. Something interesting."

Lina rolled her eyes at her brother. "Remembering who we truly are? Seems interesting." She then took another bite of her apple. "Even though I get memories I still don't know anything about who I am." She looked at the other girls. "How 'bout you all? Know who you guys are?"

The girls answered with a chorus of "no's" and "not really's."

Adelheine shrugged and explained, "Some of the girls only remember little things such a party they attended some time back, such as in Florence or a hundred years back in New York, and some only remember who they were in certain places like Egypt or Plymouth."

"I actually remember who I am as an angel, but I don't remember who I was in certain places, but it's starting to regenerate, the memories that is, so far apart from paradise, I only remember few parties and conversations, nothing extraordinary."

Lina nodded at Adelheine. "Lucky. I can remember so many things from my past lives. Everything down to was type of vase there was in the room. I can't remember anything about paradise though. It's all a blur. Alex here has got it worse."

Alex glared at his sisterfor including him in the conversation, he just wanted to be in peace for a moment. "All I remember is fighting... And blood. Lots of blood."

"Rome or the battle for Paradise?" Adelheine asked.

Alex shrugged. "Like I said. All I remember is fighting and too much blood."

"Right," Adelheine said, "When did you start regaining your memories?"

"The day after I turned 15." Lina said.

"I didn't get anything till last year." Alex answered. "What about you?"

"Started when I was 10," Adelheine lied smoothly.

"I know," Adelheine said to Lina and then saw Mimi and Schuyler walk over.

"Hello," Adelheine said.

Adelheine looked at Mimi, smirked and said, "I know, I was one of your bridesmaids in Rome, I'm Meissa, but I go by Adelheine Rockefeller."
