Who even came up with the idea of Karma/Taro in the first place? I've seen all four movies, and I don't recall seeing much that could back up the pairing... all I recall is a conversation between the two about why Lani and Taro aren't "together" anymore, among a few things that further support the flames of the rivalry between the Teku and the Metal Maniacs.

You don't even have to watch World Race carefully to catch the hints for Lani/Taro, just more than once to make sure what you thought you saw was actually in there.

And in case it hasn't been figured out by now: I'm pretty darn stubbern when it comes to pairings.

Now, as to why I prefer Karma/Kurt:

1) Both Karma and Kurt are Teku, meaning that -if- they got into a relationship sometime before the point where Nolo finally comes to terms with the fact that his brother wasn't murdered, they really wouldn't have anything to worry about from their leader.

2) Both have a bit more in common. they are on the same team, they are both stubbern, and... um... (a conversasion between the two about Galorum is coming to mind...)

...and I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'm sure the ideas will come (though it may not be until I can see the fourth movie again)...
