It's a tragedy that can make a person realize where their place is in this world. For Lia Sink her place was in the Nurse Corps where she would be tending to wounded soldiers. Only now she has an opportunity to be out in combat as a Medic for Easy Company. Lia is told to not get close with the men but it's getting difficult when you share cigarettes and foxholes with one another.
