Dexter's relaxation time is cut short when a serial killer targets families in vacation homes. Can Dexter put the "The Lakeside Murderer" on his table before it is too late? Dexter Crossover. Changes POV. Takes place between seasons 3&4.

Summary: Dexter believes he is the smartest serial killer in Miami and one of the only ones who can get away with it. What he doesn't know is someone close to him knows his secret. What will happen and will his secret get out?

Dexter is driving home tonight and takes a detour. He doesn't want to go home just yet. He enjoys the silence, the open road, and the thrill of the hunt, although he really shouldn't.

Dexter bonds with Harrison. But will Dexter gain another two pupils? And how will he deal with Arthur, as the loan of a hammer turns out to be more problematic than Dexter could have imagined... Post-season 3 with elements of season 4.
