Professional baseball players are laid up in Dodge and Festus brags that the towns folk can beat them at their own game.

Matt returns to Dodge after weeks in exile and surprises Kitty. What does that mean to her, his friends, and to the town?

Matt, Kitty, Doc and Jonas face great danger on their way back from the trial in Grand Bend. Story complete.

An early Chirstmas story. When Chester becomes terribly ill, it looks like all hope for him to recover is lost and only a miracle could save his life. Not the best summary but I hope you enjoy it. I started writing this in late September/early October.

After Matt and Kitty have a fight; Kitty gets upset and decides to go with Chester fishing. When things go terribly wrong on the fishing trip, their lives become in danger. And it looks like only Matt will be able to save them.

It's late October in Dodge City and the town is on edge when a "Demon" has been sighted. Now Matt must get to the bottom of this mystery and stay alive in the process.

When Matt saves the life of Anita Parsons, a widow woman, she starts to come calling on him. Much to Kitty’s dislike. When Anita finds out what Kitty means to Matt, she try’s to get rid of her and anyone else who stands in her way.

When Matt becomes ill and has to stay in Doc’s office for a few days, Chester has to keep an eye on things at a time that might just prove to be a little more difficult to handle then usual.

Malcolm Reed, a hired gunman is hired to kill Chester. Reed tells Chester he will be spared if he gives him any money he has. Chester may now be saved from being killed by Reed, but it doesn’t mean he’s safe from the man who hired Reed in the first place.

An After the Credits story to the Season 8 episode: Root Down. After Matt rescues Chester from Aggie Dutton and her family, Chester starts to wonder why it is always him that gets taken in by a pretty face.

That's not why I left, Matt." "Tell me, Kitty, just why did you leave? I've always wondered." An ATC for "Return to Dodge."

Matt and Kitty have their hands full when mysterious things start to happen at the Long Branch. People say it's a ghost, Kitty says it’s an intruder. She and Matt decide to do an all nighter in the Long Branch to see if it's an intruder or a ghost.

A missing scene to the season 5 episode: Potshot. What was Matt talking about with Chester after Chester got shot? This is toward the end of the episode but before Kitty gets the idea that it could have been Hutch Dawkins that shot Chester.

Matt and Kitty take the day off to go fishing.

A man wanting revenge against Matt tells him that he has hired a back shooter to kill him. Though this gets Matt jumpy, he tries to shrug it off. That is, until he shoots Chester on accident.

Set after season 20 and well after Kitty leaves Dodge. Doc & Matt go to New Orleans to see an injured Kitty. There will be some spoilers... at some point. Disclaimers: As usual Gunsmoke is not mine and belongs to a scary conglomerate.

ATC story to the season 5 episode: Unwanted Deputy. Matt takes a wounded Chester up to Doc's. This was posted before but would not open. I edited it and is now re-posted. My first story ever published on this site and was written when when I was 10 or 11.

An After the Credits story to the episode: The F.U AKA: Al Clovis While looking for the robbers who got away, Matt decides to head back to Dodge due to Chester looking very sick. The day after returning to Dodge, Matt goes alone to look for the robbers.

A modern day Gunsmoke setting. The descendants of Matt Dillon and Kitty Russell are brought together in search of answers to a mystery whose roots lie in Dodge City's history.

When murder is committed in Dodge, Matt and Chester go after the man responsible. But constantly being shot at and Chester becoming seriously injured while on the trail make it a race against time for Matt Dillon in order to save Chester's life.

With Festus out of town for two weeks, the only one to help Matt out is Thad. Who becomes ill with Appendicitis.

Matt leaves town on business and leaves Chester in charge. During this time, Dodge City falls victim to a twister. Was posted before but deleted after it would not open when clicked on. It is now re-posted and has gone through some serious editing.

Matt and Doc get a wounded Chester back to Dodge after he was stabbed in the season six episode "About Cheter" This is an After the credits story and was posted before but re-posted and edited after the story would not open when clicked on.

While Matt and Chester are out hunting, Chester is shot. Matt believes that he shot Chester on accident. But did Matt really shoot Chester, or could it have been an unknown shooter wanting revenge against Matt?
