The Robinsons are visited by someone who appears to be a somewhat confused knight in armor! He tells a tale of a world which has turned its back on some oddly-familiar technology, turned to simpler times, and sent him on a quest to slay a dragon. Young Will believes firmly in Sir Sagramonte, but only Penny discovers the jarring, yet touching, secret of "The Questing Beast."

Dr. Smith, out with Will & the Robot, discovers a musical instrument which is the key to an alien prison dimension. Or- is it something and someone, far more sinister? Smith is confronted with his unsavory past as the devilish being who calls himself Morbus tries to get him, Don West, and Judy Robinson to release him from - well, whatever place this is!

An Earth ship lands on the planet where the Robinson Expedition has crashed, with a solo pilot aboard. They hope he may take the children back to Earth and get a rescue mission out for the rest. He is strangely unwilling to go back to Earth, and first tells John Robinson a startling story why, but then tells Will & Penny an even stranger story!

An alien scientist has created an android, Raddion. which he wishes to be a "perfect creation." He realizes that he needs to instill in his creature a number of human emotions which he has no knowledge of, and wants the Robinsons' personalities for Raddion. Instead of copying them, he takes them completely, leaving Dr. Smith and Don West to undo the damage done.

Two aliens arrive on the planet where the Robinson party is stranded. They have arrived to engage in a duel to the death, champions for their worlds, to resolve a centuries-old war. With the men away, Maureen Robinson is in charge, and has to decide if they should try and help the one who looks like a very handsome man or the one who looks like an amphibian nightmare - or either!

The medical skills of Doctor Smith come in handy when one of the Robinsons becomes ill.

An alien with ulterior motives sows seeds of mistrust between Smith and the Robinsons.
