Harold refused to pay his parking fines, now he's up in court. However he's got himself a lawyer, who is far from, what he expected, and just like his father, he's too proud to admit it, even if it hurts him.

Harold gets a letter, about the death of someone he never even knew. However in order to get what is owed to him, he needs something he doesn't have, and decided to go to any means to get it.

Harold is very ill, and thinks he's at death's door. Albert agrees he isn't well and the rag and bone man, ends up in hospital.

Harold is married! However this is a Steptoe marriage, tragedy is never too far away, when the new Mrs. Steptoe has an accident.

Harold thinks he finds love, when a new woman in town, saves him from a land-lord, then asks him to return days later, when she'll have something for the cart. As ever Albert suspects something isn't right.
