Author has written 29 stories for Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy X-2. Welcome! I've been writing fanfiction since the 80s in many fandoms. For the last few years, Final Fantasy X has seized my muse with a vengeance. Many of my stories focus on one or both of the characters in my pen-name. I'm also fond of general fiction and stories bringing to life less-popular characters like Isaaru, Luzzu, Lucil and Elma, even Dona and Barthello. I've collected all the resources I use to research my own fanfic: the game script, maps, character names and meanings (where known), screencaps, a complete list of all the obscure NPCs, links to videos of game cutscenes, translations of Squaresoft's FFX Ultimania Guides on the world and characters of Spira, and more. My current main project is Love Her and Despair, an AU epic adventure posing the question, "What if Yuna had chosen a Final Aeon?" For a movie-trailer style teaser, see the YOUTUBE VIDEO: Lulu's Sin. It includes multiple plot threads and a varied cast: Isaaru, his brothers, and Auron are the main party, but they meet familiar friends and allies along the way, including Yuna's surviving guardians and (eventually) Nooj, Baralai, Gippal and Paine from X-2. I tried to capture everything we loved in the original game: multiple layers of backstory, intertwined plots and intrigue, the flawed politics of Spira, noble yet naive heroes, a tragic love story, tensions between races and factions, magical moments and dramatic battle sequences, friendships and frictions, compelling primary and interesting secondary characters, the beauty of Spira's varied landscapes, and most of all, the enigmatic, cynical, tragic figure of Sir Auron. I've also done a fanvid Crash and Burn, a four-minute tragic exploration of Auron/Lulu... not so much imagining what could have been, as mourning what never could be. Readers seem to like my yuri pieces for their realism: that would be because I'm drawing on some happy memories and old friendships to write them. ;) On Hold: Lulu's Journal, "Memoirs of a Guardian," an account of Lulu's first pilgrimage.
