Author has written 34 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Fire Emblem, Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, Bleach, Star Ocean, and Assassin's Creed. Suggest a fic/pairing - PM me! Hullo, DarktoLight here. I plan to start writing again, but it's going to be hard to find the time, so unfortunately Symphony's going to be put on indefinite Hiatus. I would like, at the very lest, to finish the Sylvarant arc, but I simply don't have the time at the moment to put into thrashing out a chapter, editing it, sending it to my beta, re-editing, etc. etc. I'd rather post nothing than something sub-par. When updates resume (which they WILL, I really do promise!) they will likely be monthly. And I owe all my readers the biggest possible apology for my gigantic levels of fail. Dislikes: My chronic inability to type up the written word, biochemistry lectures with a certain lecturer, rabid fanthings who don't know when to take their offensiveness somewhere else, incest/twincest (you can like it if you want, just don't expect me to), coffee (le gasp), being poor, my bad time management, fics with random Japanese inserted pointlessly and needlessly. (I'm looking at you, bleachfic. X-taicho is not what is said in English.) I also hate my internet for sucking bigtime. Interests BLEACH I pretty much know the plot for the current Japanese releases, but I intend to stop reading at the end of this arc. No, I don't care what happens at the end or how exciting their new journey to the realm of the king/hell/somewhere previously unmentioned is. Part of Bleach have started, especially recently, to jar with me. It started with what happened to Ulquiorra. I really don't care how much it was hinted at, I am getting sick of Ichigo pulling powerups out of his ass. If he defeats Aizen, I will be Most Upset. Fangirl rant over. That is all. I ship a wide variety of pairings for Bleach, and I can see myself writing pretty much any pairing, no matter how crack/how much I hate the character (UlquiorraTatsuki and IchigoYoruichi for respective examples. Cannot. Stand. Ichigo). If you have a suggestion for a pairing you'd like to see me write, message me and I'll do my best. I will say now, however, that I only write het. That doesn't mean I'm HOMPHOBIC WUT. It just means I prefer straight couples. But apart from that, yeah. It should be noted that my "YxZ" oneshots are unlikely to ever get a sequel of any kind, the one exception I can think of being Poison, which got a... I don't really know what to call it. I really am flattered to receive reviews saying "Yay I love YxX/never thought of it but you've made me love it please continue!" but my muses don't work like that. So this list is... Rather short, but here goes. Dr. Who (New series only), Chuck, Firefly. That's about it D8 Books I read a lot of books. It's much easier to do between lectures than whip out my latest draft of fanfiction and hash through the plot. Now the first semester is over and I've got my bearings, however, I may start writing oneshots during lectures. Because I'm bad like that. Dragonriders of Pern series, Artemis Fowl, The Redemption of Althalus, The Name of the Wind, Godspeaker trilogy, Kingmaker Kingbreaker, Discworld (not that I could match the awesome of Pterry in fic, so I'll never even try), Mistborn, the H.I.V.E series, War of the Flowers, the Night Watch series, Harry Potter (do not expect fics. End of.), the Bartimaeus trilogy, Guardians of Time, Tithe/Valiant/Ironside, and probably several others I've forgotten. Recs are gleefully accepted, I'll try anything! If anyone asks for Twilight fanfiction, they will be hunt down and shot. No exceptions. Like Twilight all you want, but get your sparkly 'vampires' out of my face, rabid fanthing. Thank you. Stories: Final Fantasy: Fire Emblem: Flight (FE7), a fic about Legault, set post-FE7 timeline. 'Cause I like Legault. Destiny (FE7), the Sword Demon and his student meet on the plains of Sacae one last time... The Hurricane in the Storm (FE7), about Legault and Aesha. I actually got one review. Makes me smile. Baten Kaitos: I have, in fact, written on paper an immensely long fic about Baelheit and Daimon. Buut, the chances of me typing the whole thing up are slim. Very slim. Tales of Symphonia: Promenade, now a ficlet collection. Because Kraine rox my sox. Without NOx (Chem nerd alert). Consists of 7 fics currently. Will DEFINITELY not be updated, as of... 7/5/09. Sorry guys. Symphony, an alternate-storyline tale of ToS, with a bit of Forcystus for good luck. In fact, a lot of Forcystus. Currently on indefinite hiatus. I'm sorry > Falling Hail, a story about Yuan, and how the events of ToS change him. Star Ocean: BLEACH: Apotheosis, an AizenxRetsu. Because the dynamic that accompanies this pairing is amazing... Even if the middle part of this fic (in my opinion) sucks. Ash and Rain, an UlquiHime drabble. Contains death. Stupid Kubo. Broken Moments, a GinxRangiku, first person Rangiku POV. Set before he comes back. Yeah. Chess, a not-drabble-just-very-short story looking at Gin. Whee. Curiosity Killed The Cat, an IchiYoru fic I actually don't really like. But hey, everyone else does, so meh XD Drowning, first-person Tatsuki POV. It's UlquiorraxTats. Because that pairing is awesome. Eating Habits. Taking Orihime to the kitchen =/= wise. 1st person Ulquiorra POV, Ulquihime Failed Twice, ShuuheiKanisawa. Does anyone else think they would have been a great couple if she hadn't, like, died? Harmony, a random GinRan I wrote on a whim. I quite like it, actually. Hollow. It's basically an introspective look at Ulquiorra, written in first person. It's hard to think like Ulquiorra... But I did it. UlquiHime and one-sided IchiHime, and, well, I hope Kubo doesn't give me cause to cry when ch.353 comes out. EDIT - damn you Kubo. Infirmary Rules, a RetsuUkitake. You know what Doctors are like when you break the rules in their wards... Insanity, a GinRangiku that I still can't believe I wrote XD Kick In The Head, a HitsuMatsu that I'm a bit undecided on as to whether or not I like it. Eh. Poison. It's 3rd person limited, focusing on Momo. Because my oh my do I love GinHina. Almost as much as GinRan, although I doubt anything will replace that. Seeking Solace, possibly one of my more favourite works, is a YumichikaxRetsu fic which is probably really cliché because it's doctor/patient, but I don't care, so there Shatter, a third-person (sorry for the error!) Byakuya-centric fic. Contains my ideas on the truth about Aizen, because nobody can be that haxx. Seriously. And I wish it had happened, too, rather than what actually has been occuring... -sob- Smile, a ShuuheiRangiku. (There isn't enough of that... Although, for that matter, there isn't enough GinRangiku, which is my favourite ship for her. Ah well.) Someone gave Rangiku a camera. Shuuhei will regret that for the rest of his life. Sport. What happens when Soi Fon is let loose on Ukitake. UkiSoi. Oh yes. The Snake in the Snow, a GinRuk. I have uploaded two versions, one written entirely in Gin's accent, and one that's clean.
