Author has written 20 stories for Disney, Passions, Liberty's Kids, Fairy Tales, Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, American Girl, RENT, Doctor Who, Labyrinth, and Smash. Bio: MackenzieW is the internet pen name of a writer living in the outerboroughs of New York City. She started writing stories as a child, mostly on an old computer program. A friend introduced her to fanfiction and she used it as a way to hone her craft. Though she has transitioned to original writing and is trying to publish some short stories while complete her first novel, Mackenzie continues to write fanfiction. She hopes to continue to improve as she delves into the world of published works. I have another website besides the one listed as my homepage. This is Fanfiction for Dummies. I have taken all the knowledge I've gathered in my 10+ years of reading/writing fanfiction and put it into a blog to help others. Learn the different types of Mary Sue and how to spot them! Learn the importance of description! Learn how to leave a well-rounded and helpful review! And for all you writers out there--learn how to write a gracious reply and avoid the title of "fan brat"! If you have a topic you think I should cover, let me know! I normally do not like removing my stories. I like being able to show how I've progressed. However, I've decided that some of my older stories need to go. I have already deleted "The Phantom Lives On." Once I backup "Le Cirque Boheme," it will be deleted as well. After that, "The Tale of the Warrior Woman" and "The Incredibly Bizarre Fairy Tale" will also be deleted up successful backup. I have began my rewrite of the "Elaborate Lives" trilogy. Upon further review, I'm making drastic changes while keeping characters and relationships intact. I have backed up the first part already. It has been deleted. I have started to post the new story.
