I guess I should start by introducing myself...
I'm Steph, as you probably guessed from my screen name. I'm kinda, lets see...insane, in a crazy, obssessive way, that isn't at all scary - I hope! I love fanfiction. Adore it in fact and have found that it is a major addiction that I just can't give up, not that I want to. I also love writing, even though I find it hard to find the time at the moment, and particually enjoy writing AU's where I get to 'play God' and create my very own universe :)
The shows/characters that inspire me the most, in no particular order, are Stargate Atlantis, Star Trek Voyager, Battlestar Galactica and CSI Vegas. There is just something so addictive in each of these shows that I can't help but love. I have to confess that 'shipping' is a large part of my reason for adoring them as well. From Sparky in Atlantis, JC in Voyager, RA in BSG and Grillows in vegas, I just can't get enough of them. How can you not like romance? It's just...real! Especially the angsty type - I'm such an angst junkie, lol.
Stargate Atlantis is something I adored, but only seasons 1-3 (ignoring the idiocy of 'Sunday' and 'First Strike'). I don't watch season 4, well, I don't watch the episodes that don't have Elizabeth Weir in them. She is, after all, my fave character and a part of my ship. It just isn't the same without her, so until she comes back...I don't watch it.
Star Trek Voyager was my first obssession. I think Kathryn Janeway is an amazing character and I love exploring her personality and relationship with her First officer. I really dislike the whole 'C7' thing and the sham that is 'Endgame'. It just isn't believable. JC all the way!
Battlestar Galactica just leaves me hanging on the edge of my seat everytime. It's so on the edge and...dark, very different from everything else - I love it! Laura Roslin is, by far, one of the best female characters ever written. Strong, fierce, somewhat intimidating at times, yet vunerable and caring as well. I just adore her, and her relationship with a certain Admiral, which is too obvious to even argue about.
CSI Vegas is an old obssession that has come back with a vengence, which is typical considering they went the other way with the ship! In my opinion it's wrong, very, very wrong! Luckily for me there are plenty of other people who feel the same way and stay loyal to Grillows, so I never run out of fanfic or videos. Catherine is my fave character, she's just fantastic!
That about sums me up, the important stuff at least, lol.

Major apologies to everyone who is currently reading any of my WIP's. Real life has completely taken over and I haven't had the time to do anything. I promise you though, I haven't abandoned anything! Just please be patient and if you feel the need drop me a line to give me a swift kick up the... I don't mind. I know how much I hate waiting for an update so I'll get them up asap!
