Location: Scotland. Although I'm half English, a quarter Welsh, a sixth Irish, and possibly a bit Norwegian. 's all good!

A Bit About Me

Fave Music: It changes daily but currently I am listening to the following fairly religiously: Jimmy Eat World, Cold War Kids, Better Than Ezra, Hanson, Death Cab for Cutie, Marjorie Fair, The Arcade Fire, Tilly and the Wall, The All American Rejects, Modest Mouse, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult (yeah, I'm an SN fan. The music kicks a@@ on that show), Belle and Sebastian, THe Decemberists, Rilo Kiley, The Kills, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Thirteen Senses and Wilco. The list has remained the same for about two weeks, which suggests that it's likely to stay that way for roughly a month before I get bored again.

Fave Books: Clay, The Warehouse, To Kill A Mockingbird, Lord of the Flies, Brave New World, His Dark Materials, Nathan's Run, The Hunted, The Lovely Bones, Twilight, New Moon, The Bean Trees, Birdsong I'm Not Scared, AGATB and RA and numerous others I currently appear unable to remember. I also like poetry, Wilfred Owen and Edwin Muir are two of my favourites but I particularly like poetry by Rudyard Kipling. That man was a genius. I'm hoping to go and study English at Uni and would love to study his poetry in detail. That would be a dream come true. Sad? moi? blushes

Television: I'm a big fan of the television show Supernatural. I watch relatively little tv, to be honest, and so the fact that I've got so obsessed with a single programme shows the true greatness that is Kripke.

And as for a must-read fanfic: 'A Year Like None Other' by aspeninthesunlight, is pure genius. It is an AU Harry Potter fic set during his sixth year. I've gone off HP recently but this fic doesn't lose it's magic however many times I read it (pun only slightly intended). Believe me when I say you will never wish a Severitus in the place of the sixth book so much again. -- You'll need to Google it though, its not on FF.net. Try Skyehawke.

And yes, no fics. This is because I have an adversion to writing fanfics. Yep, I could make a career out of hypocrisy. I do write though, mainly poetry, as long-winded novels scare me. Again, only when it's me writing them. God do I love to read them!!
